I really enjoyed the food and drink at this Taiwanese restaurant. They make their own soy milk and offer some drinks mixed with matcha or oats or milk tea. The chicken noodles are pretty good as they are nice and chewy, and the other appetizers like rice rolls and scallion pancakes were yummy too. They have some weekday breakfast specials which are a pretty good deal.

Food 4/5 Service 3/5 Vibe 5/5 New restaurant in the plaza on 16th near Bayview or Leslie. Their chinese crepe and rice balls looked really good on the wall so i decided to give it a try! Service is a bit slow since only 2 people are working so be a bit patience. Food overall was pretty good! I personally really enjoy the chinese crepe aka 煎饼. This time i only got the basic one (since im very picky on my crepe selections) but next time i will def go for the more fancy ones. Noodles were alright, but i dont think ill get them again. the rice bowl was really good, and the tea egg was also very flavourable. I think ill come back again if im in the area and try out the rice balls the next time!

My first time trying their food. I came early morning on a weekday and of course it wasn't busy. The restaurant gave a relaxing vibe, the decor was really nice. There's no physical menu so you will need to scan the QR code shown on the table and place the order. I got a Rice Bowl with Grilled Shredded Chicken and a Mixed Noodles with Minced Pork. Absolutely love their mixed noodles, very flavorful! Their menu isn't bad at all, prices are very decent and affordable as well as the portion. Will certainly be a returning customer

A new location for breakfast and lunch, we decided to give it a try. Wow, once we entered, we were amazed by its clean, bright and neat interior. Everything is well organized from ordering to getting the food. The service is to the point. The food choices are huge, we ordered some crepes, porridge and dumpling. They all tasted fresh. It has become our favorite spot for breakfast.

Went here for a weekday dinner and sadly this place left a lot to be desired. We ordered the BBQ sliced meat, the wonton, and the chinese bian bing. The rice bowel was simply frozen veggies with cumin and salt, the wonton had thick wrapper and little filling. The jian bing was the hugest letdown as it seems the skin was just corn flour and regular flour.....very thick....should have a mixture of mung bean flour amongst others.

Northern Chinese style food that is hot, fresh and of good value. The crepe was surprisingly large. Service was good, there was only 1 server when we went at 8am but since not many tables of patrons, so it was ok. Ambiance is nice and quiet. It was good, and spicy tofu fa is a new try for us. I'd say I like it, just not my usual go to foods.

Stumbled upon this Chinese café while doing errands in the area with family. What a gem of a find!! Loved the variety of dishes. Definitely will return for Chinese-style brunch!! Service was a bit slow (reasonable given that the place opened just two weeks ago). Nice atmosphere with comfortable seating and love the space saving idea of having the utensils/napkins/tooth pick available underneath the table!

But the egg was a bit overcooked, so not as runny as an authentic omurice. The croquette was very runny and a little too sweet. The Hojicha Latte was perfect though! Not too milky and had a subtle sweetness. Probably should have ordered one of their Soufflé Pancakes, but we were already full from our meal. It was lunch time, so the parking lot was pretty busy, but still able to find spots a little further away from the restaurant itself

I tried the coconut drink with matcha cold foam, super rich coconut flavor that paired perfectly with the matcha. I originally wanted coffee, but the owner recommended it since it's popular, and it did not disappoint! My boyfriend got a hot latte with a strong coffee flavor, which we loved. We studied and read for a bit; the soft music makes it a perfect spot for studying or hanging out with friends. They're only open Fridays and weekends, so be sure to check their Instagram before going for more accurate hours. The owner is incredibly kind and even brought our drinks to the table. Also their prices are tax included which is why on the menu they seem a bit more pricey. There is also no tipping. Definitely coming back!

It's nice that there is one in Richmond hill now as the other location was near Markville before. Service 4/5 wasn't too busy when we went in afternoon. Easy to be seated, staff are attentive. Food 4/5 Eggs Benedict with Smoke Salmon was great. The chicken fettucine with spinach was also very tasty. The portions are comparable for a GTA uptown location. The space itself is bright, cozy, and modern. It's great for a casual brunch. The menu focuses on creative takes on classic brunch dishes, with most plates around $18-$25 and drinks about $6-$9. We tried the pork sausage shakshouka, pork jowl eggs benny, and a strawberry matcha latte. The drink was a standout--refreshing, nicely layered, and not overly sweet. The dishes themselves had good flavors and promising concepts. Unfortunately, the experience started off rough. Despite having a reservation, we waited over 30 minutes for a table during the busy Saturday brunch rush, and parking around the plaza was difficult. When the food arrived, the eggs in both the eggs benny and the shakshouka were overcooked, which was disappointing since runny yolks are key to both dishes. Overall, Corner Cafe has a nice vibe and an interesting brunch menu, but the long wait, tough parking, and inconsistent execution made the experience fall short this time.

A Hidden Gem with NYC Vibes & Central Perk Charm!…read more Took my bestie to Ravine Cafe today for bunch to celebrate her birthday, and we are still buzzing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere hit that perfect sweet spot, that classy but cozy, with a definite New York City energy. Think lots natural light with big windows, warm and welcoming lighting, and that effortless "cool" that made us feel like we have stepped into Central Perk. Only things missing is the big orange couch and the oversized coffee mugs. The menu? Bougie without the sting. We both had the eggs Benny, while mine was the Cajun shrimp (unique and flavourful), hers was the classic bacon Benny. They were both beautifully plated, yet surprisingly reasonable for the quality. What really sealed it was the service. Staff was attentive and smiley, but the owner stole the show, came by, chatted for a solid 15 minutes, and shared the restaurant's backstory. Felt like old-school hospitality, not rushed commercially influenced like most of the commercial restaurants in the area. Perfect for a brunch gathering, a date, or just pretending you are in a rom-com. We will for sure be back, and with more friends. Thank you for the great service and amazing food!

I love anything lychee, so this was a no brainer and it went well with the raspberry. It was however a bit on the sweeter side and I wasn't a huge fan of all the fondant. I prefer the Garden one, but would want to try out some of their other ice cream cakes too. I did find it odd that they charge for the chocolate plaque where the message was written...and they weren't able to make changes to it even though I called a few days in advance. I was told they already made them in advance so no changes could be made. Not sure why they didn't have the option of letting me pay for another plaque to be rewritten either since they just stuck it on the side of the cake so not like it would ruin the cake..?
