Came during lunch. Place is very unassuming, but don't let that fool you! I got the pad Thai and the portions were very generous for the price! The egg rolls are the best I've had in El Paso! Also, they have a tank with badass turtles in it! read more

I don't usually post reviews, but really enjoyed this place. Stopped by for dinner with the kiddos and had a really great meal. The menu is varied with options including pad Thai, curries, or traditional Chinese. The service was quick and friendly and the food delicious. Worth a try if you're in the area. read more

This place is a great Chinese restaurant in downtown El Paso. So far my wife and I have had some awful dining experiences looking for good Chinese food here in El Paso. The price was typical Chinese food prices. However the size of dishes was crazy! Neither my wife or I were able to finish our plate. And the waitress came prepared with boxes when we got our check. Food was fantastic and the restaurant was clean. Location is a bit weird but they nailed the friendly neighborhood Chinese place. 4 our of 5 stars. Would have gotten 5 stars but they add a lot MSG to the food so you get full fast and are left with a mountain of food. Which is a good problem to have read more

I was skeptical at first due to this place having just one review, but I decided to gamble. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, beef lo main and combined rice. Everything was DELICIOUS! The prices are very affordable and the plates are BIG! I just hope they don't stop delivering to the west side. read more

GROSS. GROSS. GROSS. AND VERY DIRTY. I should've walked out when I opened up their filthy and corroded menu. "These menus are very dirty." Waitress just laughed at my comment and didn't offer to clean them or bring us others. Our General chicken was SO awful! The chicken was still very raw. When I brought it to the waitresses attention she offered to take it back and have them cook it some more. Umm... NO. She also offered to bring out another dish of the same thing but by this time, I was grossed out and declined her offer. Waitress walked away without taking the dish of raw chicken away and she left it at the table for it to stare back at us. Waitress never came back to the table. I had to get up from the table and get someone. Asked for a to-go box for the dish of mixed vegetables I picked at (loss of appetite) and she brought me back a box with food crumbs and cooked rice grains in it. Maybe they recycled it from the table that forgot to take their leftovers? I don't know at this point. Then there was, the overflowed toilet in the men's room. Unfortunately for us, we were seated 5ft from the bathroom's door. Horrible experience overall. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. read more

The food is fine but the service we got was atrocious. We had to wait for an hour, with no one checking up on us to tell us what is going on. Finally when we asked they said the main chef had left and then come back when the other chef couldn't handle the work. There were other issues with service-- I will never go there again. read more

The hostess was not welcoming and the walls were dirty. There was an unpleasant smell throughout the restaurant. Our waitress was nice but the food was flavor less. We ordered a hot and sour soup that tasted like water, the egg rolls were too sweet, the orange chicken plate had raw pieces of chicken,the chicken chop suey had a brown sauce instead of a white sauce, and the broccoli in the beef and broccoli was bitter . Disgusting! Super disappointed, I used to go when it was SAMS but decided after a long time to go back. Now, Phoenix Palace, let me down to never come back...EVER! I ordered pad thai and my husband ordered orange chicken. The pad thai was extremely FISHY, I am well aware the sauce includes fish sauce but out of ALL the places I've tried it, the fish is barely noticeable and it has a sweet and sour taste. The Phoenix Palace, totally messed up the recipe, the fish taste and smell was overpowering, and the taste was just plain gross. The orange chicken looked almost black, it was hard as a rock, with an old oil taste. We literally left ALL THE FOOD, because the gross taste. We decided to get out of there, paid $25 down the drain. No one to talked to, except waitress who said: "I'm just a waitress here, have been here for two weeks" Neddless to say, DO NOT WASTE MONEY AND TIME here, save your taste buds and wallet and go somewhere else. My husband and I were working all day to get my dad some heat for the winter. We were tired, dirty, and super hungry. We didn't feel like cooking. I have never been to this place, but it was so worth it. You get so much food with your order. Best yet, it's real Chinese. No frozen pre-cooked stuff. Real authentic Asian cuisine. We had a menu stuck to our door and being new to the area we figured we'd give it a try, so we did a delivery order. We ordered Wonton Soup, Cheese Rangoon, Orange Peel Chicken, and Combination Fried Rice. It was so bad that I had to log on to review them. We are pretty easy to please. The steamed rice that came with the chicken was very dry, our rangoons were not crispy. The wontons were super thin, mushy, and had basically fallen apart in the broth. There were bones in the fish and tendons/knuckle in the chicken in the combination fried rice. The orange chicken was soft and not crispy at all even though it was breaded. We are not hard to please customers at all, but never again. It was terrible. read more
