BEWARE TRUCKS ARE JUNK!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! I drove 4 1/2 hrs to purchase an 2013 F550 and upon arrival truck looked pretty good form the outside. After asking to test drive (which the sales lady drove with me) which I thought was a bit unnecessary, breaks was squeaking and a funny noise coming from the rear tires. Come to find out the inside tire was flat which they changed for me. After being there for over 5 hrs I did leave away with truck. BEWARE of the $2500 service/inspection fee that they charge to go over vehicle which is a bunch of BS if you ask me. Purchased a warranty (Veterans Auto Warranty) which was a waste of $3200. After driving about 1 hr the engine light came on luckily I made it back home. After further inspection it needed 2 injectors replaced. Called dealer back and they said to bring it back so they can look it over. I expressed that I wasn't driving back and I would call warranty company they next business day. After speaking with warranty company they told me they ONLY cover parts which they base there prices off of after market parts not OEM - and I'll have to cover the labor cost. That cost me $1400. After getting injectors replaced drove it for a few days engine light came back on. Took it back to Ford and they told me bank 4 didn't have proper compression. Reached out to warranty company and they said they would have set up an inspection for an adjuster to come out. After inspection warranty company said that this was a prior problem and they wouldn't cover it. To fix this issue it would require damm near a new motor which estimated cost is around 20k. So now I'm stuck with a truck that needs a new motor and I only had it for just over a month. Needless to say I had to keep calling dealer to send title so I can purchase my tags. It took them 32 days to do so with only a 30 day temporary tag. This whole ordeal has been by far the worst truck purchase I have ever experienced. In my opinion I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS DEALER TO ANYONE. read more

By far THE WORST PLACE I ever encounterrd! Silly me for not reading the reviews before dealing with them. First and foremost I still have no truck even though I put a $5k deposit down on Dec 14. It's Jan 11th. Joesph Ross told me it'll take a week to inspect then I should be able to come pick the truck up(I live in Cleveland,OH). After the first week he went M.I.A. His email was deactivated the other people I talked to Sabrina, Crystal and Dana they all didn't know the status of the truck I put a deposit on. Every time I called they would tell me they would give me a call back and never do. Well today I tried calling again and the number was disconnected. I just filed a dispute with my bank to get my money back. This truck was supposed to be for my business and of course they set me back a month. I'm so furious I've tried being patient with them and give them the benefit of the doubt. They said they were behind because of Covid but it's literally been a month with no update, no truck and no money. Unprofessional very very very much so. My husband has been in contact with one of their salesman for several weeks now. Confirmed we were coming today to look at a one of a kind 6 door conversion truck. Salesman said it would be cleaned up and would be ready to look at. Truck was disgusting. Fishing poles in the back seat, clothing and food strewn across the inside, interior parts falling off, hood wrap peeling, exterior scratches. Regardless of whether an employee or the owner is using the vehicle - we came cash in hand and you couldn't give us that vehicle in its current condition. No excuse for that level of unprofessionalism. Even worse - the salesman didn't offer to show us anything else on the lot. It's not so much the shape of the truck that bothered us, but the terrible customer service. We drove all the way from Northern Westchester to NJ to be disappointed. There is literately not one good thing I can say about this place. I had found an ad for a truck on carfax and called in to schedule a time to check it out, as well as confirmed via email. After arriving to my appointment, I was then informed that the truck was not in running order and would have to be fixed which I was responsible for covering the cost of. Strike one. After expressing my disappointment and calling them out for never once mentioning the truck was not in running order, they offered me a "similar model" that was running at *only* $7000 more. I then asked to speak to the floor manager directly at which point he barely gave me an opportunity to say a word and hastily had me sign paperwork without really explaining what I was signing. They would not let me test drive the truck or get my mechanic to look at it before signing this as well. I noticed on the paperwork that I was also putting down a non-refundable $1000 deposit. When asked about this, the manager had stated that it was refundable. I asked him to note this in the contract. After a lot of hesitation, he wrote that the deposit was refundable and signed his initials next to it. The manager calls me up the next day to tell me that as soon as the vehicle was to be prepped in the morning, that the deposit was non-refundable, and did not give me time to say no on the initial call. I called back a few hours later after mulling it over and no one picked up. I left two voicemails and two emails telling them not to prep it and I was not going to buy the vehicle. I called as soon as they opened the next day and they informed me that it had not gone into prep yet. I told them not to put the truck in prep and that I would not be buying it. I told this multiple times to the manager and a salesman and I thought that was the end of that. Fast forward two weeks, and there is still a $1000 charge on my card. I call in to see when I would be getting my refund, to which I was told my deposit was non-refundable and they would not give me back my deposit. I was told the manager would call me back to "work it out" and am still waiting for a call. I will most likely have to pursue legal action. Long story short, these are the shadiest sleaziest dealers I have ever worked with, and I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemies. If I could rate this place negative stars I would. I'm a first time Car buyer and this was the WORST experience I've ever had in my life. I originally went in two days ago to purchase a used Jeep with 150,000 miles. We sat there for hours upon hours with them convincing us we were leaving with the Jeep tonight and they came back with a extremely high number out of our comfort zone after swearing they could get us in our price range and lower the price of the vechile. They finally got the number down a little lower but we still weren't convinced with a car and that many miles . During all of this I asked them if they needed any pay stubs or anything like that and was told NO. Then the manger comes and said they are having a hard time approving us because they did not have pay stubs to prove income, after they told us not to worry about the pay stubs. They offered me money for my trade and came back and said they needed 1400$ on top. After I clearly told them I could only use my trade as a down payment. They then explained that the only way they could get the price down was if I had more money. I finally came up with 1,000 more and they accepted. Today I went back and accepted the offer. Before the Jeep went in to be inspected they promised us the radio which wasn't working would be fixed. When I got back after running around getting paperwork signed by my father I started to switch my car insurance over which took a lot more time. All said and done I switched my car insurance over to the Jeep and paid up front for that and my boyfriend went out to make sure that everything was working. He comes back in and said that the radio was still not working, we now were told that they do not fix radios there and we would have to pay MORE money out of pocket and fix it ourselves. Even after seeing all the bad reviews online I decided that I would give them a shot but trust me when I say this DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. I gave them 1,000 cash and they wouldn't even give me my cash back they wrote me a check. The owner does not care about anybody but himself. DO NOT TRUST THEM ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY. After all said and done I sat there for over two days back and forth. I filled out all this paper work and now they have all my information. RUN DONT WALK AWAY. RUN. I gave a $3000 deposit to be used as a down payment, but decided i didn't want the truck after weighing the options considering it needed $6k or work to be done after buying it, but the next day the check was already cashed before 21 hours of even being at the dealership. This was on 7/1/2020. I've been given the run around for 28 days and still going on as of today. I was told my check was needed to be signed by the owner then told it wasn't printed then told it was mailed last week and I have yet to receive that and called today and told it was mailed yesterday 7/28/2020. This has gone on every day. Each time a new story, each time a new excuse, each time documented and recorded for my case. I've filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, as well as the Better Business Bureau, Consumer affairs, NJ State Department of Labor, IRS, the NJDMV, NJ Attorney General, Middlesex Chamber of Commerce, Department of Transportation, the Mayors office of South Amboy as well as the city hall of South Amboy for consumer affairs, my bank since money was given for a service that was not completed. I've called everyday for the last 28 DAYS and given each different story by the same woman Debbie in accounting who told me she would call back and never did and said it wasn't her even though i said i spoke to Debbie and she said "yes I'm Debbie" I'm not a wizard, how could i predict your name ITS BECAUSE I SPOKE TO YOU. and by Pete who told Me I would be called back and never did and when I call again they say the person is busy, or stepped out or "they said they spoke to you already" which never happened. I hope they realize that the calls were recorded and documented each time (as NJ law dictates as long as 1 party involved is recording it's legal, so I had myself and my lawyer present to be double sure) of them telling me it was printed, mailed out, needing to be printed, needing to be signed and then mailed out again. I was informed by my lawyer, often times they'll hold your money for 30 days before giving it back to you so they can collect the interest on it for the whole month. I've had a friend go there and purchase a vehicle and 3 months later his engine blew up and the dealership said "not our problem, you did it" and hung up. If only I read the reviews on this scam of a place before I went there for their overpriced vehicles that are falling apart and slapped together to survive a test run. I can not express how helpful and friendly the staff here was. My sale women Maskit was amazing. She was so helpfully. I was their all day going back and forth with my loan provider and she was so patient and wasn't letting me leave with out the truck of my dream. After 10hours of being at here, we finally found and truck. I drove the truck home that night and has had no issues what so ever ! Maskit has kept in touch to make sure everything is going smooth and I can't express how sweet she really is ! I will defiantly be recommending this place to friends and family :) read more

Absolute thieves! This company took a $1,000 deposit from us to hold a vehicle that we were thinking about buying. This refundable deposit was taken over the phone because we live in Maryland. After reviewing the final offer we decided not to take the vehicle and asked for our deposit back. That is when we found out just how unscrupulous these people really are. I called the salesman Ira Lustbader over and over asking for our refund and kept getting excuse after excuse about why they could not return our money; the credit card companies take weeks to return the money, their accountant is out and won't be back for weeks and on and on. I spoke with their accountant just 2 weeks ago 7/15/20 and she told me that she could not process any refunds until she receives a submission form from the sales department and the sales manager. That meant they did not even process our credit card refund as they have been telling us. We are now painfully aware that these people are just plain crooks. We have filed complaints with the NJ State Attorney General office, Division of Consumer Affairs, the South Amboy Chamber of Commerce, the Middlesex County Division of Consumer Affairs and New Jersey Consumer Protection Offices. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE. The experience started pleasant but after taking the truck home saw a big stain on my driveway. After taking it to my mechanic he said the gear box was leaking and that the universal joints need to be changed due to they were rusted. As soon as i contacted them the experience started to change. They acted like i was bothering them. they fixed the leak but told me the u-joints just needed to be greased. I told them i had a vibration in the front end at around 70mph they told me it was the big tires. Started hearing a thumping noise in the front of the truck, took it back without calling them, they were not happy seeing me back. Without even looking at the truck or taking it out for a drive they told me it was the tires and if i want take it to my mechanic and pay out of pocket because i signed an AS IS FORM and was told to leave the dealership. read more

Please avoid this place. My husband and I went to buy a truck for work. He liked the truck and price but the check engine light was on Aron told us not to worry it will be checked and fixed before delivery. Hesitantly we did the paperwork for financing and were approved and agreed on a trade in price for his truck. While waiting for the truck to get safety checked and fixed they wanted to do all the financial paperwork and to give them cash down but I wasn't born yesterday and said not until my husband is happy with the way it drives. So we left to come back when it was ready. Got a call just after 5 saying where are you we close at 6. So we headed back to drive again and finish up the paperwork. He drove it and wasn't 100% convinced but said it was ok. He went to switch stuff from our trade to the new truck and remembered he hadn't checked the 4x4 put it in N and engaged the 4x4 and bang. He called and told me to stop signing. It was a dud. They had their mechanic team go out and look at it. They accused he of breaking it. Even told him to be a man and admit it. The finance guy wanted me to keep signing. When I asked for our title back I was not buying a truck that broke before it was even ours he said he would fix the tranny and we could get it Tuesday. I said I would be back in a week and bring my mechanic and if all was well we could continue. I asked for my title and he refused and was demanding money saying we cost him $3000+. At this point they were closed the finance guy salesman and mechanic were in the room with my husband daughter and myself and they were screaming at my husband. I told them I was demanding my title or I would call the police. My 5'4" husband had a 6 foot tall man in his face telling him to be a man he broke it. Finally I got the title and the salesman said not to worry he had what he needed any ways. And the financial guy said he was canceling the credit app for fraudulent information. I called my mechanic this morning to ask what he thought and he said no way the tranny was bad and what did I expect for a truck with 173000 miles and not being able to have him check it.
