Nice place to stay as far as condos go. We came right before peak season and it was a great time to visit as the crowds had not started getting too thick yet. The grounds were immaculate, the lobby was adequate, elevators all worked the entire visit, and they had handy shopping carts for moving things around. The lobby is a bit dated, but it's nice enough for the price point here. There are vending machines for ice, food, and drinks in the basement. The pool was clean and had ample areas for lounging. Pools had grills and gazebos for cooking outdoors. The deck going to the ocean was well maintained, lit well at night, and even has a mat going almost all the way down to the beach. Condo was nice, again a little dated, but served us well and was actually clean as you could ever want. AC was cold, bed was 3/5, but the doorways were oddly narrow. I saw some folks on the property that would have some trouble, LOL. Patio was cool. I'd come back, it was really cheap for the stay. Two stars based on location alone. Our condo wasnt ready when we arrived because it needed a deep cleaning from the guest before. I was warned that the couch smelled like urine and since the carpet looked dirty they decided to that as well. We were called 1 1/2hrs prior to our arrival to let us kmow the issue with the smell and getting the condo cleaned. When we arrived we were offered another location about 20mins away that didnt have a pool and no beach view or direct access. We decided to wait it out since we came for the pool and the beach. The carpet in both bedrooms, the couch was wet for the 1st two days of our visit and the carpet was wet for at least three days. We also realized that one of the guest beds was broken, the door on the entertainment center was broken, the curtains are all stained, the sheets had blood stains and the finally the tub drained ao slow you were in standing water for the entire shower. I would not recoomend unit 7313 to anyone and will not be returning. read more

fabulous location in Orange Beach AL. the condo has an outdoor and indoor pool with hot tubs. on the lower floor there is a nice exercise room with saunas. the parking garage offers limited covered parking but there is plenty of parking on site. tennis and pickleball courts are available on site. the boardwalk to the beach is nice plastic , so no splinters! only a few steps to the white sands and clear blue water make this condo a favorite. i personally enjoy the ground floor units. they open to the pool and beach access with no waiting for elevators! additional advantages to this unit is 24 hour security and front desk service. read more

1st Vacation Since COVID-19 and it was needed and enjoyed. The hotel is practicing social distancing and cleaning throughout the common areas daily. Masks are required, especially on elevators, and encouraged throughout the complex. The amenities are well kept and nice. Remember to bring your own toiletries and swimming items. Only one minor thing... watch your step when accessing the balcony from your room. read more

We have stayed in several of the Phoenix condos over the years. The Condos are nice. You know what to expect. They are beach condos. This time our room was nice but was starting to look dated but beautiful still. (7117) The previous guests had left the patio door open and there were a bunch of gnats with us that stayed most of the week . The patio door lock didn't work and it was two days before it got fixed. The central air filter was FILTHY. (I saw it by accident right before we left.) We had to have maintenance come and open the couch because it was sticking.- But they came quickly and fixed it. The upside of the stay: The pool was AWESOME! The service we received from housekeeping and the front desk...AWESOME!! The lobby was well kept. The grills were in great working order. The parking security were so friendly. We always had hot water and comfortable beds! We had plenty of parking. The condo, even though dated was very clean. The location was great! We will stay in Phoenix VII again. I'll check the air filter when we arrive next time. We will probably pick a different room that's been updated. We do love staying with Brett Robinson Realty in the Phoenix Condos. The amenities are nice and the Condo kitchens well stocked with utensils. The view is priceless! And we love the quiet family friendly atmosphere. read more

We are currently in unit 71001 and it is disgusting! Nothing has been cleaned, there is mold in bathroom, dirt all along walls, doors, sand all over floors, patio doors are broken, blinds are broken, laundry room doors broken, disposal broken, no sheets for pull out bed, sand in blankets in closet, only one lamp in unit works.....just on and on everywhere you look. Only thing good good is the view from balcony & pools. Will never stay here again! Do not waste this type of money here. We have stayed at several offer condos in orange Beach and nothing has been this disgusting and a total waste of money and made our family trip so much less enjoyable. Also more money spent not having to be in condo as much as possible. read more

My family and I stayed here back in September for one week. It was our first time to the gulf coast as a whole and we really enjoyed it. The beaches here are beautiful. I'm not sure what it is like the other times of the year, but September seemed to be perfect. Not too crowded and nice warm weather. It did storm a few times, but it was still suitable to go to the beach at least half of the day. It is also cheaper to rent during this time - we only paid around 150 per night when the condo normally rents for 244 a night. This does not include taxes, cleaning fee, etc. We found a condo for rent through vrbo located at the Phoenix VII condo building. The building has a lobby downstairs with plenty of seating. They also have another lounge area towards the back/ocean view with couches, TV, movies and games. There is a desk nearby where you can rent beach chairs/umbrellas/towels and set up to do some water/beach activities. Since we rented through VRBO we did not have to get a key anything from the desk - our door had a key pad. We rented unit 817 - 8th floor unit 17. So... the pictures were awesome and it has all the amenities you would need. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living space, storage, kitchen, wifi, beach toys, etc. The only thing that really bothered me was the floor was not cleaned at all when we arrived. You can tell it was not vacuumed or cleaned by any means. The condo was a mix of tile and carpet. The bathrooms, hall and kitchen/living area are tile and the bedrooms are carpet. All of the flooring had not been clean. The carpet was also stained and dirty. If they just did a deep carpet clean it would be totally fine. They did have the cleaning woman come the next day to vacuum and sweep which helped. read more

Stayed in unit 114 and it must have been recently renovated because it was perfect. Very cute decor and an awesome view of the beach and pool. Very spacious for a 1BR will definitely stay in this unit again. Also very close to parking. read more

Unit 7-308 We booked this 3 bedroom 2 bath unit for our family of 5 and another family of 4. (The listing states that the unit sleeps 10). The week prior to arrival - actually through another TripAdvisor review - we were alerted that the condo was not as described. Specifically, the listing states that the unit is a "high demand" unit and that the "luxurious master bathroom features a whirl pool tub." The listing also lists the whirl pool tub as an "extra amenity." The listing fails to mention that there is NO shower included in the master bath - only the not so luxurious outdated whirl pool tub surrounded by mirrors. I believe that any reader would logically assume that a shower would be included in a "luxurious master bathroom." Not just the "extra amenity" of a whirl pool tub. As the prior review also indicated, there is NO door that separates the master bath and master bedroom. The only separation is a shower curtain hung between the sink portion of the bathroom and the small area that includes a toilet and tub. Given the number in our group (less than the number the unit sleeps) and the fact that logically one family would be using the master bathroom and one family would be using the hall bathroom - the master bath situation was far from ideal or even workable. We contacted Brett Robinson and were told that they were completely booked up - which of course is understandable. We were also told - repeatedly - that even if a different unit became available we would be required to pay our deposit for this unit. That is unacceptable especially given the poor - and totally misleading - description in the listing. Other problems with the unit include: * outdated curtains that are almost impossible to close and fail to cover the sliding glass door * true key door locks - invest the small amount of cost in a combination or card entry system I would not recommend this unit and will not stay there again. The location was great but for a "high demand unit" it is VERY outdated and most importantly NOT AS DESCRIBED. read more

We have stayed at several Phoenix units. This actually was the worst! The master unit did not even have a tub The shower door did not work The view was great but the fountain below kept running even after pool was closed and interfered with hearing the waves. Sounded more like a gutter drain than a fountain. The pool was very large and clean. Had a lot of option like indoor pool and hot tubs. Tennis courts and racket ball if you like those! Just needs updating on unit, take out carpet and put tile. Etc read more

Unit 71116. What a beautiful place to stay! Being up on the eleventh floor allows you to take in a wonderful views ... Pool area below, beach in front, bay channel to the left (where the fishing yachts come and go), and beautiful Gulf of Mexico in the distance. The grounds are awesome. Everything is clean and well kept. The grilling areas around the pool are well situated. The bbq pits are in good shape and there are clean up utensils next to each grill. The pool is huge with plenty of deck chairs. I never had an issue finding a few together. Staff members seem to be constantly buzzing about cleaning and servicing the common spaces and facilities. The walkway to and from the beach is nice. Garden hoses are set up at several points to wash your feet coming back. There's a volleyball net on the beach and you can rent lounge chairs. Be warned, if you have a tent you must stay back from the water behind signs. The police enforce the tent ordinance with the vigor of a hall monitor on steroids . Phoenix VII, Unit 71116 is great! Two queen size (I think, they're big) are in the first bedroom as you walk in the condo. This bedroom has its own full bath as well. Down the hallway is the nicely appointed kitchen with granite counters and nice appliances. The kitchen flows into the dining and living room areas. Nice comfortable sofas look at the flat screen and the balcony. The floor to ceiling windows give you solid views of everything in paragraph 1. Through pocket doors off the living room is the giant friggin king size bed in the master bedroom. The master also has floor to ceiling windows and access to the balcony. There is plenty of room in the master with tons of storage. The master bath has a sweet stone shower. The balcony has a place to enjoy meals and room to lounge. The condo is decorated nicely. It isn't covered in gauche beach stuff. It's more homey and relaxing than touristy. It's fully appointed and we had everything we needed except for food and spirits. We plan on making this our beach vacation from here on. We've stayed all over the area, generally in beach houses. The pool, location, and other amenities here are why we'll be coming back. Exactly what you expect from a Phoenix vacation. Decent but outdated condo, decent but uncomfortable furnishings (have yet to stay in a Phoenix with decent beds or sofas meant for comfort), beach out in front, pool needs maintenance and updating but it's nice. Overall decent is the best word. If you don't mind kids throwing stuff from the balconies down on your head, a group of kids clearly under 25 taking over one end of the condo/pool area, then this is for you. For the price, I think we're going to upgrade to the Caribe or elsewhere next year. Sorry Phoenix but what I'd put up with in my 20's-30's I am unwilling to in my 40's and my back needs a decent bed! read more
