Shrimp and pork in rice paper roll is a light and simple appetizer that needs a dipping sauce. The table has a selection of different sauces you can add. #26 Photastic soup, very simple but packed with all kinds of beef goodness. Excellent broth, quality beef cuts, and great veggies to add in to make this dish dance in your mouth. If you are into spicy, I highly recommend the spicy pork and beef soup. Good, it's okay a little towards the tasty side . But the price isn't worth the food . Around 20 for thin 2-3 pieces of ribs with rice. Around 18 or 19 dollars for 2 piece of chicken, a drumstick and a thigh and rice . Pho was about 20 but it was tastier than the other pho around this area compared to 5 spice in homestead which was extremely bland. This little gem is right around the corner from us! My daughter and I recently moved down here and we are originally from San Jose, CA. If you know about that area, you know we have a lot great Vietnamese food, but this is by far the BEST pho we have ever had. I'm soooo glad I decided to come here! Food was authentic and very delicious. Restaurant is cozy, ambient, clean and very nice. Customer service was top! We will definitely be coming back ONLY here for our Pho-Do! Tried out Pho Tastic on Friday evening and I cannot be happier with the food. We had the shrimp and pork fresh rolls to start off and they were delicious! They had a perfect meat and filling ratio. The best thing of course was the Pho... the best pho I've had. I have to say this is my new favorite spot. The "Pho Tastic" bowl was bigger than my head I think, it had so much meat and noodles, definitely worth the price, the broth was silky and so so flavorful. The bubble tea was also perfect, the Taro was not overwhelmingly sweet. I can't wait to come back and have more of their dishes. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for months now, since it was highly recommended by my the Vietnamese owner of my nail salon (full disclosure: he and the restaurant owner are friends). I'm so glad that I was able to go and take 3 friends of mine to share the food with. We started with pot stickers and eggrolls which were accompanied by a simple and light salad garnish made up of jicama, shredded carrots and bean sprouts. I fell in love with that salad and when I returned home I scoured the web for a comparable recipe. Three of us ordered the noodle bowls, and the last one ordered the shrimp and fried rice. We call him Grumpy because he can't eat spicy food and really was not keen on Vietnamese food. But even he enjoyed it! He is a Vietnam war veteran who swore he would never eat Vietnamese food again, but after 48 years he left Pho Tastic with a big smile on his face! The restaurant is clean, service is friendly & helpful, and food is reasonably priced. Their menu is varied so there is something for everyone. Each table has an assortment of condiments (Hoisin, Soy Sauce, chili sauce and a really hot red sauce) so each person can make their food as savory, sweet or as spicy as they like. My three friends all live in Kendall and said they would go back again and even get take out. My only regret is that I now live in Coconut Grove. But my 40 minute drive was certainly worth it! I liked it because: Their phenomenal Service, everyone in this place is so nice helping and making sure I got what I needed and asked for. I love the pho here. Me and my stepdad always come to eat here atleast once every 2 weeks, the owner (i believe) knows us by now and is always super chill and kind with us. Especially with my stepdad who doesn't speak english, the worker is always very attentive with him. I love the passion fruit tea! We ordered the Shrimp and Pork rolls for our appetizer, and the Korean BBQ Beef and Pho Tastic soup for our main entree. To start, the shrimp and pork rolls are wrapped with rice paper and stuffed with shrimp, pork, lettuce, mint leaves, bean sprouts, onions, and fresh veggies. Crunchy and delicious! It also comes with a peanut sauce and a sweet fish sauce on the side - the peanut sauce is my favorite! The Korean style BBQ beef was extremely flavorful. The meat was tender and appetizing. The sides are white rice, veggies, and sunny side up eggs - perfect combination and absolutely delicious! Last but certainly not least, the Pho Tastic soup! The soup is served with slices of eye rounded steak, flank, soft tendon, beef tripe, meatballs, and rice noodles. The broth was extremely flavorful and the serving size was HUGE! I absolutely loved loved the pho here... Definitely planning to come back for more! The service was phenomenal. Even though the restaurant was busy, the waiter kept checking in on us. I work around where this restaurant is located and been going here for a Thai tea boba fix. Today I went to get a Thai tea boba and somehow it tasted different, I went back and told them it tasted off, and the guy up front told me that they just mixed it today and it shouldn't taste off. ( when I used to order before, they mix it right when you order it but today, they just reached a ready mixed batch underneath the counter) uhm... Our server's name was Johnny. Everyone here was amazing and welcomed us like precious guests. The ambience is terrific - there is a running visual of Vietnam the entire time with beautiful and appropriately leveled background music. The environment and ambiance is appealing with pillows and wood. Bathrooms are super clean. Although many tables were taken and it was busy, our food came out quickly. Driven by this place so many times, interesting name, wanted to try it and... it was ok. Fried Shrimp These were actually pretty decent, wasn't a bad deal either, the sauce was good, added a nice touch of sweetness and slight spice to it, overall satisfied with this appetizer. A lot of places have these fried egg rolls with shrimp, but these were good. Pho Tastic Well, this is the signature Pho bowl, as it's named after the restaurant itself, and it was just... ok. For 16 bucks, I don't think it's worth it, maybe if they filled the bowl to the top, but even then, it's just a bit bland, lacking in flavor and creativity, just kind of boring. The quality isn't good enough to make up for the lack of imagination and innovation, it's just a plain bowl of soup with a bunch of different unseasoned beef in it, nothing special, not worth the price. In the end I was debating between a 2 star and 3 star, but the food wasn't bad, it was just underwhelming and a bit overpriced, and the service wasn't too bad either. But the charge a near 3 PERCENT SERVICE FEE, so their tax is 10 percent, that's some bull. So, I decided to give a 2. Overall disappointing experience, was hoping for better, but oh well, they can't all be winners. Total Price was $46.01, for 2 bowls, 1 order of Fried Shrimp, and a coke. They charge a 2.60% FORCED AUTOMATIC SERVICE FEE. read more

In Miami for the weekend from North Carolina. Haven't had pho since the pandemic began and I was dying to have some today. Found Pho Tastic on Yelp and it was nearby... popped in and my family and I were greeted and seated right away. There were only a handful of diners in there and it looked like they had social distancing very well planned out. Very Covid-friendly. So, we ordered our pho (combination pho #28 and a kid's pho) and the Drill Tofu. The Drill Tofu came out first and the pho shortly after. Okay, so the pho was amazing! I've never really had bad pho before and I am not saying all pho is the same. The meat portions and the vegetables were just right and fresh. We were happy that we got our pho fix... but, my review isn't really about the pho. Maaaaaaaaaaaan, lemme tell you somethin'... that damn Drill Tofu (#10 on the menu), WTF? I always order some kind of spicy, deep fried tofu appetizer, if offered on the menu, whenever I eat pho and Pho Tastic's tofu is waaaaaaaay up there on my list. Yeah, tofu is tofu, but it really is the way you prepare it. PT's Drill Tofu tastes like the marinade the Vietnamese use on their grilled pork chop dishes which is a taste I absolutely love. I'm no Vietnamese cuisine expert, but this tofu dish is different from the many tofu appetizer dishes I have had and I love PT's take on it! Keep up the good job! Lastly, the staff is super friendly and the place looks very nice inside. I was gonna try and get the tofu recipe from the guy, but, you know what, I like the mystery of it all... plus he probably wouldn't have given it to me anyway.
