Hands down the best Vietnamese place in south Florida. They bring old school authentic Vietnamese food with cool new school looking restaurant. I would highly recommend it. First off, I used to live in a Vietnamese area of Houston, that had some of the best food around town, this place would fit right in to that area. So glad they are here in Miami. While it is currently a 35+ minute drive for me to go here, it's worth the drive. So you should definitely try it out. The food. The phó is spot on. Tons of flavor pack into the the broth. The broth is definitely what sets good phó from bad. Great ingredients bring it all together. Vietnamese sandwiches... if you haven't tried one, you are definitely missing out. Lived in West Kendall for three years and after passing by this restaurant numerous my wife and I decided hey let's grab something light before we head to the movies. Yeah, umm wrong not only was the food delicious it was filling. And this was our first time having Pho, good lord they set the bar high. We both got noodle based soups. I did not expect the bowls to be so big so we had more than enough to bring home for later. And the Thai Tea we both couldn't stop raving about it. It was the best Thai tea we ever had hands down. This is a great, authentic Vietnamese spot! Their pho broth is very flavorful and their portion sizes are massive--they offer a kids size, which is essentially a small sized pho. Their fresh rolls are very tasty with homemade peanut sauce and their fried wontons are also really good. I love their banh mi and essentially all their flavors of pho. Their Boba tea is very good as well, I highly recommend! Staff is very nice and ambiance is very homey. They are very attentive and welcoming and this place is definitely a hole in the wall! Orderes some Summer Rolls and Bun with pork and shrimp. The pork on the bun reminded me of pork jerky, that's how stiff and hard the slice of pork was it had good flavor but chewy and shrimp was overcooked. This place is run by vietnamese family. My son and I have been eyeing this place for some time now and decided to give it a shot for lunch today. We started off with the spring rolls. They were fairly good... much larger than expected and came out with a tasty peanut sauce. The rice paper wasn't wet enough, making the rolls a bit tough and hard to bite through. I also wish they would have removed the stems from the mint inside the rolls. The wonton soup was really good. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The broth was nice and mild and came out piping hot. On to the main meal... we ordered the eye round and meatball pho. The serving size was much larger than expected. Certainly enough to bring home for another meal. It was also served piping hot with a side dish of bean sprouts, mint, jalapeños, and lime. The broth was mild and light. Admittedly not as flavorful as the pho I've had in other places before. I highly recommend using the chili oil, oyster sauce, or fish sauce found in the table to add a bit of salt or spice to the dish. Overall, this place is a good option if you're looking for Vietnamese food close by, but not the best I've ever had. Customer service was great and the food came out extremely quickly. read more

I come here quite often and it never lets me down. I normally order the pho eye round steak & meatballs. The pho here is so delicious. They are very large and filled with lots of steak and noodles. Pho Tastic was fantastic! I got the pho with everything in it and it was so so good! The broth was super flavorful as were the meats, the tripe was tender. This is one of my favorite Pho spots. I eat here after getting my nails done next door every time. This restaurant has the nicest staff ever! They are so welcoming and kind which makes the experience 100x better. Whenever I've been unsure of what to order they always help guide me on what I should order based off of what I like. Their prices are very reasonable as well! I've gone by myself and have ordered appetizers, pho, a drink, and boba afterwards and have spent around $30!! You really can't beat that price especially when the bowl of Pho is that large. I always have leftovers for lunch the next day which is a plus. The seating is so comfortable too, there's pillows which makes it warm and welcoming. If you aren't a fan of Vietnamese food, I recommend you give this place a chance because it will not let you down. And even if you don't want to try the food, the boba is a MUST! This is one of my favorite boba spots hands down. If I don't have time to sit down and eat I will still get a boba tea. My favorites are the Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai tea. read more

Pho Tastic is Fan-Tastic! We visited on a Saturday night, on a whim, while stumbling upon its review on Yelp. I'm a bit crazy when it comes to new Asian local eateries here in Miami, so I knew we had to try it right away. Our usual Pho spot is a bit of a drive, so finding one near our hood was awesome. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and service was very friendly. Although quite busy, all the staff was doing their best to make sure everyone felt welcome and taken care of. Unfortunately, they were out of a lot of items that night, but we were lucky to score the Meatball and Rare Steak Pho, and boy, did it taste good! It came with the usual condiments and fresh herbs, and it hit the spot! The portions were nice and the flavor was great. We also tried the Taro Bubble Tea and Passion Tea and it was delicious! Well worth the visit and we will definitely be coming back soon. This is the only Vietnamese place in the west kendall area. I often come here. The food is delicious, the service is great and they're very fast. The place is cute and you can tell they maintain a clean environment. The only reason it doesn't get a five star is because they've raised their prices significantly. I don't think their bahn mi sandwiches are with the price. There's a place across the street from FIU that sells bahn Mi's and for the same price you get a much larger sandwich. We were told they opened 5 days ago, so there are a few kinks that need to be ironed but other than that, it's great food and great people running it. Our server tonight was Junior and he was super attentive and so humble--you could feel how appreciative he was to welcome us into his family's restaurant. Tonight we ordered the Korean Style BBQ Grilled Beef rice dish (#18) and two vermicelli noodle bowls with grilled shrimp, pork and egg rolls (#10 and #12). All were flavorful and delicious and the fish sauce was the star! Pungent with a hint of sweet and sour, it's the perfect accompaniment to every authentic Vietnamese dish. I've lived in the hammocks for 10 months now, and being so far out west, good food is hard to find. We had gone to a place across the street only to learn it had closed down. Scrambling to find something else, we did a quick yelp search, and drove a couple minutes to this unassuming strip mall with a Publix to have Pho. There was one table open and we took it. From the second we walked up, the Amazing customer service stood out!!! Just amazing! Great food, too. We tried the eye round pho, the fresh rolls, and the shaking beef. All the produce was fresh and the meats of good quality. No gristle. The pho broth needed a bit of fish sauce and chili oil, all provided on your table to season to taste. The Thai tea was dessert in a cup. Everything was solid! Plenty of parking in the free parking lot. If this is the norm at Pho Tastic, no wonder it was hopping when we showed up! I really hate to give a bad review, especially of a locally owned restaurant. The food is really quite good. I've never had a bad dish. The inside is cozy and clean. I work close by and would stop in frequently but 2 things make me choose other places: the price is a bit high for lunch (one menu price for lunch or dinner) and I get treated unkindly by the front of the house staff. I was excited when I saw a Vietnamese restaurant opening soon 5 minutes from my house. Finally, I've tried it. I ordered egg roll, grilled pork and egg roll with Vermicelli and a bun bo hue. The egg roll is authentic as they used taro in it which I like but not enough meat in it. Also, they use the wrong kind of lettuce (iceberg) instead of Romaine for the egg roll. The bun bo hue was ok but it does contains A LOT of MSG! My husband saids his meal was good but again what does he know?!? He usually just says all foods are good. I'll definitely revisit again to try other items on the menu with my (Vietnamese) aunt and will add another review. I will say it is better than Pho 79 IMO. It's also much closer to me. read more

I'm very obsessed with this little spot in W. Kendall. I absolutely love Vietnamese food and they deliver! The soup portion is huge and delicious. The vermicelli bowls have to be my favorite. I prefer the shrimp and pork option. If the meal wasn't enough, the fried egg rolls are the BEST I've had. My picky 6 year old even devoured them! This is a small family owned restaurant. Finally! A good place to get your Vietnamese fix in West Kendall. We visited them on their first opening week. Food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the number 22, the number 13, and the meatball pho soup. Very friendly staff. They are the sweet folks that own the nail place next door. I wish there were more photos on the tv screens/menu on what some of these dishes are to help me make even more choices. Staff is very friendly. But I do think they need to organize themselves a bit better at the front, and kitchen to make the wait time quicker. Same goes for their phone lines. Our friends have tried calling to phone in an order, and getting an order via their phone lines have been challenging. But they have a great staff, with a tasty menu, and I think this will quickly work out these bumps. We look forward to visiting them often. Don't hesitate to check them out. read more

Tried the Photstic Pho and the spicy noodles. The food was nice and felt authentic, very similar to what I had in Vietnam. But I found it a little sweet. It seems like the add a lot of sugar to both regular and spicy noodles which was a bummer. Overall service and ambiance was good. The food was quick and server was prompt. Not sure if I enjoyed the pho as much but I'll recommend the Bahn mi, if you have not tried it yet. read more
