Paid extra in cash for color reversal film ektachrome 100 and made sure over the phone the process the film - which they do. BUT if you want your film positives? They do NOT do this!! I was not aware of this and feel duped. When I received my film back, I received negatives, and these were of a roll I was shooting for a whole year preparing to eventually frame as a nice gift. Obviously, can't do that now unfortunately. They do develop quickly and for other purposes very reliable read more

Tl;dr - my go-to spot to develop disposable camera film. Bring cash! When my friends told me they get their disposable camera film developed and have digital prints sent to them on the same day, I was gagged and didn't think any place in SF would do the same. Maybe it's actually more common than I thought, who knows *shrug* but thank god this spot is around! It's become my go-to for all things disposable. The owner is very efficient and communicative- when I had issues with some rolls of film, he called me to let me know and that he could give me a refund. They send you digital scans via WeTransfer which is pretty self-explanatory, even if you don't have an account. read more

I went to this place for over a year and this is my final verdict PROS: Photos developed same day (most days) Cheaper than most film labs CONS: Quality is poor compared to other film labs I go to The owner gives me a hard time for paying card (even when the minimum is met) Just be a cash only business Not the worst but also not the best. I have now switched to other film labs and would rather pay a few extra dollars per roll for quality and payment convenience read more

I was worried that my photos didn't come out at all--I'd sprung a nasty light leak in my camera the last roll that had me biting my lip about repairs--but I got my photos back in a short time and they (mostly) emerged, with a nice note about how I could improve my practice--and with much better quality than I had expected, especially for a 1-hour spot! The only place I go for Film Development. We are so fortunate in this city with storefront like Photo Plus because your negative will be gone if you send it out to online developers like those from Walgreen or Costco. Their workmanship and craftsmanship is perfect and so did our photos which were taken from a Fuji 35mm disposable camera with ISO 400. Great experience that you get to have the negative, digital copy over cloud and the actual 4x6 prints read more

Always amazes me how quickly he is able to develop my film. I drop it off and it's ready within 2 hours. Fastest place I've found in city by far! He prefers if you pay in cash and charges a bit more if you pay with credit card. Option to get your negatives back if you want or you can have him just email you your disposables as soon as they're developed. read more

Eric's film developing services are wonderful, reliable, and super fast! For less than $20, you can get your film back to you in an hour (sometimes a little more, but it's truly still 10x quicker than any place in SF). Eric answered all my questions, and even followed up on a few blurry images with better quality scans. UPDATE 6/5/2022: Eric is RIDICULOUS-ly great and efficient at his job. Dropped off a roll of film at around 2:30-3PM, and he got me medium res scans emailed over to me before he closed THAT SAME AFTERNOON. This was after telling me that he was a bit backed up with orders. How does he manage to do it? I'll never understand. Still really happy with the results, and this is the only lab I'll bother doing business with. He no longer takes Venmo, but he does take cash and card now. Also, if you want tif files of medium to high res scans, bring a USB. Always bring a USB. read more

I paid more than I wanted, for more photos than I needed which are unusable because they are too dark. I don't know if going in and ordering would have had any affect on the ultimate outcome, the prints but I definitely don't recommend uploading and using their website it's terrible and honestly I'm not going to waste anymore money giving this business a second shot.

Right in the middle of…read moredowntown surrounded by big stores and busy streets, Union square feels like a peaceful little spot where you can put a pause on the chaos of the city. The lawn is always green and beautiful, perfect for letting my fur baby run around and play (or potty) and you will always see people enjoying the space, stretched out reading or talking with friends or just soaking up the peace. One of my favorite things about Union square is the art. The giant hearts are iconic in San Francisco and they're always being repainted and reimagined by different artists, so no matter how many times you come here, you will always see something new. I've seen so many versions over the years but I still stop to look at them every time I'm here because there is always something new. The hearts the statues, the occasional pop-up installations or performances, the square always feels alive. There is also always something going on. On my last visit here there were ping pong tables set up everywhere with people playing. I saw juggling classes being offered and arts programs for kids with people gathered around having a good time. There was a reading area and books brought in on carts. They even still had up there holiday backdrop that looks like it was put there just for people to use for the perfect insta shot. There are plenty of tables and benches scattered around so it's easy to grab a seat and stay a while. Even if you're just passing through and you need to rest your dogs for a few minutes, this is the perfect spot. I spent more than a few afternoons here people watching or enjoying a snack from the little stand nearby. It's really a great place to spend some time and a must do if you are in San Francisco. On the weekends you will find people trying to usher you onto bus tours or maybe sell you souvenirs, but you might also witness an event or see straight performers so you never really know what you're going to get. This is a place for visitors and locals wiith nice surroundings where you can really get a feel for and just to take in the city.

Great place! One of the last remaining places in town that process film. And even better, it's done in-house! You don't have to wait for several days to a week, you can get the film back in one to two hour! Don't bother with Walgreens or CVS, seems like they don't even return your negatives anymore. I've always been pleased with the result, but I can't say the same with a couple other local photo stores I've gone to. Prices are fair, and service is very efficient. It would be perfect if this place also process slide film, oh well. But they do cross processing! read more
