I went here to have a poster made, for my dad's 100th birthday. I must say, from outside, it didn't look like a very big place, but it's a great business office. I had some old photos, slides, and a couple of photo in a book (made by another family member) that I wanted to use in the poster. They were courteous, helpful and created a wonderful collage that I absolutely love! I plan to go back to have some other work done (old slides put on disk), as they are true professionals. We were met immediately when we came in for notary services. Nikha (daughter of the owner?) helped us and was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and helpful as were other employees. This company's owner was very rude to me on my recent visit. He yelled at me because he said I had a bad attitude. The fact is he could not or would not answer questions concerning a fingerprint returned by the DOJ because it was not readable. They were the ones that did the scan. If you plan on asking any questions be careful or he may explode in front of everyone. This was a very uncomfortable environment. I would not recommend using this business. read more

Done taking my film here. I hate to go somewhere further but I can't risk having my film ruined anymore. It cost me money just to shoot. The first time they charged me $13 to have a roll of Ektar pushed and they ruined the film telling me the emulsion looked funny and that they had scanned it so they knew I would have viable pictures. I don't think they pushed it. I get home to scan it and can't see a thing. Now they tell me their machine had a hiccup while developing my roll of portra that I had shot at Yosemite on assignment and had pictures of people with their kids which they really wanted to see. All they could offer is to not charge me 8 bucks. Going to a real film lab from now on. read more

I,Michael Joseph Matteucig, have a 30- year-old European VHS-VCR- PAL cassette cartridge which required repair. This wonderful shop repaired said cartridge effortlessly. They did not want to be paid. Since I do not exploit people, I purchased some Greeting cards as a thank you. I will be going back to Photo-Pro- Napa in order to have my many European trips slides placed on DVD's. read more

We have had a very disappointing and infuriating business interaction with Photo Pro. I was referred to them by canon customer service. My camera is in great condition and was working well. I was asked to photograph a wedding in Sept. 2015. In preparation I thought I should get a tune up and cleaning on my camera. I could not find any camera stores in my area so I called canon customer support. They recommended that I travel to Napa to have service preformed at photo pro. I called the store and spoke to a female employee. After she spoke to someone at the establishment I was told to bring the camera in. On June 6, 2015 (one day later) I took the camera in. I was surprised to discover that Photo Pro was a photography studio and not a camera shop. The employee that I interfaced with told me that they would be sending the camera to Southern California for service. I was asked for a $50.00 deposit and was informed that I would get a call from them to approve any work that was to be done on the camera. After 6 weeks I still had not received a call. I called them to inquire about the status of my camera. I was told that they could not do anything with my camera as there were no parts for my camera available. I expressed to Matt, the employee who answered the phone, that my camera worked fine and that I really wanted to have the camera cleaned. He told me that there was a cleaning kit available. I expressed that I didn't feel comfortable about cleaning the lens myself without some sort of instruction. He said he would try to help me when I arrived at the store to pick up the camera. I drove back to Napa to pick up the camera. When I arrived Matt was sitting behind a monitor at the store. I informed him of who I was and that I had come to pick up my camera. He retrieved my camera from behind the counter. The camera and its pieces were loose and appeared to be sitting on a shelf. He handed me the camera and went back to his seat. I asked about returning some of my deposit. He told me that the deposit was non-refundable. I stated "So $50.00 for nothing?" He replied "That's right". I was stunned. No one told me that the deposit was non-refundable. I thought that it must be written on the receipt and went back to my car to examine the receipt. No where on the receipt is there any indication that the deposit is non-refundable. I came home and emailed the store and requested a partial refund. I have no issue paying for shipping the camera. As of today (two months later) I have not received any response from Photo Pro. At this point I believe the management has no intentions of addressing my concerns. I called Canon customer support and shared with them the experience I had with Photo Pro. I asked them to remove Photo Pro from their list of references. They agreed with me that a photography studio should not be recommended to help a consumer with camera issues. Due to the lack of transparency, professionalism, and honesty I would never recommend or support the business of Photo Pro. read more

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. My husband and I went in to get passport photos. We were not greeted upon entering the store, I guess the 2 employees present were too busy with their phones to notice we were there. Finally we got someone's attention and explained why we were there. The employee acted like he couldn't have cared less, and I wish we had left at that point. We were ushered into the photo area and shots were snapped without so much as a "1,2,3" or any prep such as hair combing. We were then told it would be about 15 minutes and to come back then. We did go back, as we had already paid, and the photo was the worst one I have ever had taken. When I looked at it, I said, "That looks horrible!" No response, let alone an offer of a retake. I left in disgust and ended up having my picture retaken by the postal employee that helped me with my passport application. She gave me warning and let me look at the picture to approve it before moving on. These people have no inkling of how to provide customer service nor do they even take a decent photo. I say again, stay away!! read more
