We received our wedding photos just a few days ago and I just can't get over how talented these guys are! It's absolutely incredible how they are able to capture emotion. Joe, his wife (Stephanie), and his dad (Mark) are not only beyond talented, but so easy to work with! I can't even tell you how many times at my wedding someone would suggest we pose for a picture and I'd turn around to find Joe...and there he was standing right behind me! Having the paparazzi follow you around for 2 days could be annoying, but you don't even realize Joe is there. At some points I even noticed Joe under the table trying to get the best shot...and his hard work paid off with 800 amazing shots! My only problem now is that I want my wedding album to include all 800 pictures! But I won't waste anymore words because as I said their pictures are worth 1000 words. There are some extremely talented photographers out there, but the one thing that stood out most about Joseph Mark was their ability to accurately capture a moment. We found many other photographers who had really 'cool' looking shots, but didn't quite seem to tell a story, the way Joseph Mark's photos seemed to do. I felt so bad because I was so unprepared through the whole day. The bridesmaids had made the room a wreck and everything was out of place. Let's just say, it was not picture perfect. But that didn't stop him. He knew exactly what to do and where to shoot. He moved things around to take the best pictures. Ryan even organized a way to take a picture my dads first reaction on seeing me for the first time in my dress. My dad broke down and he was able to get every moment of it. It was perfect! He went with me through the day and was always around for the most important moments. Nothing was missed. I have some complaints for that day but none for Ryan. He was amazing!! I love the pictures of me because they are stunningly gorgeous, and that's the first time I've ever said that lol. I don't believe he does photography full time yet but I believe he is on his way to becoming one of the most sought after photographers in DFW.

Lily ensures that your special moments are captured and given back to you in the highest of quality at a great price. Her photos are amazing-just take a look at her website! It was during our newborn photo session that I really got to see all sides of her photography and personality. First, her studio is amazing. She has so many options for props, backgrounds and outfits. I felt like we were at a Hollywood photo studio for babies. You don't have to bring any outfis. She has everything. Second, she handles babies with the utmost care. My baby was a bit fussy and didn't really want to take pictures. Lily automatically took control of soothing and comforting my daughter. She was not rushing my baby to calm down. She took her time and made sure that my daughter was at ease. She has such a warm spirit and definitely a mother's touch. Third, Lily works until she gets the shot. She's not constantly looking at her clock. She shoots until she's satisfied. I can sum up Lily in three words: passionate, patient and persistent. She loves what she does and really takes her time to create wonderful memories for her customers.

We…read moremet Joy originally when we did our engagement photos the year prior to our destination wedding in Hawaii and we hit it off immediately. We had already booked a Hawaii photographer but knew that she had to somehow be a part of our day too so we hired her team for video. BEST decision ever. They are so genuinely sweet and friendly. They hung out with us with all of our family at the hotel the days prior and it was such a blast. As far as the actual video/photos- they do a absolutely phenomenal job and are so good at calming nerves and making the whole process enjoyable. We went in thinking it would be awkward but by the end she hypes you up so hard you feel like a pro almost immediately haha. The actual day of the wedding Joy and Robert were in our corner all day making sure everything was perfect and going above and beyond their duties. Joy- thank you so much for that, truly. Our other vendors and friends kept telling us how great they were too. We are fans for life.

Joy photography was a nightmare to deal with. During the height of the Covid crisis in the dfw area…read morewe had to reschedule our wedding due to local government preventing wedding from being held and our venue was forced to be closed during our date. So we were forced to reschedule and we got our new date that worked for us with the venue and the other vendors however the new date didn't work for Joy, so we were generous and said don't worry about refunding the deposit just keep it because we imagine you have had a lot of cancellations/reschedules and she waited to see if our credit card would be charged for the full payment. However after the lack of communication from Joy (not responding for several days) we froze the credit card that way it wouldn't be charged. Then she tried to come back and tell us that we should move our wedding to a date that worked for her or pay her the remaining balance of the her fees. And we politely mentioned to her that at no fault of our own that we were FORCED to reschedule our wedding and the new date was all that would work for all of the vendors and venue. She demanded yet again that we pay the full amount. And the only reason we got her to understand that we were not going to pay the full amount was because we pointed to her contract (that had unfair contract language that would never stand up in court) and she came back and never apologized or sympathized just simply said I cannot force you to pay.. Joy was very unprofessional she tried to be underhanded and take advantage of us as her customer. I would strongly discourage anyone from signing any contract with Joy because she has unfair contract language and puts you at a disadvantage as a customer.

My husband and I have been married over 6 months now and the compliments on our photos just keep coming! These are the moments in photos that you get to keep forever to reminisce and share with your loved ones. Your wedding day is the best day ever, but it really is just one day. The completely perfect photos we have from Shannon & Shaun of our favorite day and favorite people are priceless. We will cherish these captured moments forever and will always remember fondly the amazing couple who captured them for us.

That's what happened on the rainiest recorded weekend in Dallas history. I got a call from Shaun and Shannon the Wednesday before the wedding, ensuring me that all was going to be ok, rain or shine. He had ideas on how to shoot in darker atmospheres, knew our portraits would be in the complete dark and they still are some of the best photos my husband and I will ever have. Our friends are still raving and passing our wedding pics around email and Facebook and they are also proudly framed around the house. We could not have chosen a better team in Shaun and Shannon and I wish I could do it all over again so we could do another photo shoot :) Cheers!
