I stopped in here last week on a whim. The restaurant was empty as it was mid day, so I was able to be seated right away. The lady who served me was very kind and attentive. She kept checking in, asking if I was ok, and filling my water. I ordered the barbecue chicken with ginger rice. I thought the overall dish and presentation was pretty good. I really enjoyed the barbecue chicken, but I wish the rice had a bit more soy sauce or teriyaki. I don't think I'd order this particular dish again, but I would want to go back to try other items from their menu. read more

We walked in on a cold windy day, desperate for hot soup. We settled on the Tom Yum soup and the Tom Kha Kai soup and also ordered a lunch special of spicy pad Thai. First, the soups were a generous portion which was a pleasant surprise. The taste was out-of-this-world good. Every sip was jam-packed with flavor and exactly what we were looking for. Made a winter Boston day much better! The spicy pad Thai arrived very quickly along with two spring rolls, house salad, and tofu soup. The tofu soup was steaming hot and mild in flavor as expected. The house salad had a light and refreshing dressing and was fresh. The spring rolls were crunchy and the dipping sauce was sweet and spicy. We requested the spicy pad Thai be mild and it was, we enjoyed the taste and the ample veggies. Another point to note is their lunch special is also available on Saturday which is not the case with most restaurants who do specials only on weekdays. Apart from food, the ambiance was quiet and the decor was tasteful. The service was excellent! We were looked after from the minute we walked in and everything arrived quickly and piping hot. This place had great food not doubt but yesterday the hostess was particularly rude to us. she clearly was busy but we just wanted a table. she yelled at my husband "not table" like he did not speak English. Solid Thai food here. Their shrimp himapan is flavorful and packed with veggies. It's listed as a 'honey lemon' sauce, but good to know for the spice-averse that it's not 1000% mild. I found it delicious, but just be aware that the 'no spice' level just means no extra spice over the small amount of heat that already exists (I say this as a warning for those of us who have family members who think ketchup is spicy). The husband got curry noodles with duck, which he enjoyed. Interestingly, they offer a sweet soy dipping sauce with their tofu triangles instead of what I usually see of a sweet and sour topped with crushed peanuts- so that's new. A very pleasant atmosphere, the menu is extensive, four pages of a wide variety of appetizers, chicken, beef and seafood dishes. There are also multiple salad options. They are very obliging about customizing your meals, we ordered a crab ragoon appetizer, a rice dish with no shrimp, and a fabulous pad Thai. The food was fresh and hot when served. What a lovely place for upscale Thai food, prices are fair. For appetizers, we got the fried dumplings. They were hot, fresh, and wonderful. One order comes with five. I ordered the pad Thai and it was flavorful, saucy, and I spiced it up plenty with red chili flakes. It was exactly what I needed. Grilled Tenderloin Beef Marinated tenderloin beef grilled and served with sautéed mushrooms and snow peas in a red wine sauce. 17 As a thicker cut of beef, grilled and sliced, there was still some red; tender Chicken Cashew Nuts * Snow peas, carrots, onions, squash, mushrooms, red peppers, scallions and roasted cashew nuts in a mild tasty sauce. Each diner in our party picked a lunch box, and we also shared a couple of orders of their Chicken Satay $7, and none of the pad thai-ers were able to finish their plate. That wasn't the case for Medallions of Pork $8.95 or the Seafood Combo $9.95, but the pork was deemed overly salty and not enough sweet. The Thai Ice Tea $3.50 arrived in a glass goblet with too much ice (for me) and too much sweet (more so for my sister than for me). Service was fine. I appreciated the server letting me know that my dish was on the way when the rest of the party already had theirs before them. *** 12/2016 *** Their soup was served warm rather than hot, but at $5 (mostly), was portioned to easily share with another. My fiancee and I ordered take out since I was feeling under the weather and looking for some Tom Yum soup. The Tom Yum soup was weak; it consisted of a broth too sweet for him to even finish, with a few pieces of mushroom, some chicken. He ordered pork with sticky rice which arrived looking and tasting like it had been reheated in the microwaved a half dozen times over, and the sticky rice was inedible. Plastic. We needed to pry it apart into bite size pieces and even then could barely consume it. The veggie dumplings were mostly shell, with hardly anything inside. Half the dinner ended up in the garbage. I came her for lunch w a friend and they had a great lunch special which included salad a sweet vinagrette like dressing and miso soup, crispy vegetable spring rolls and entree selection. My friend had a papaya salad which can made spicy to your liking upon request. They can also had a 4 way condiment container w extra crushed peanuts pepper flakes, jalepenos, and chili sauce. I also had the fried tofu. Everything including the service was excellent and so was the manager who also had conversation and made sure everything was satisfactory. An absolute hidden gem! My wife and I have probably tried a dozen Thai restaurants over the years and this is most definitely at the top of our list. Every dish comes out piping hot with the freshest ingredients. The best Tom yum soup and pad Thai I have ever had. Their crispy spring rolls are to die for. The beef massaman, and pineapple curry chicken are both outstanding. My wife loves their Thai iced coffee. It is a small unassuming restaurant but the chef is wonderful and always makes sure everything is cooked to perfection. Do not hesitate to eat here, you will be ecstatic you did! This place is usually super on point and I HATE giving it 2 stars, but I am writing this hoping it catches their attention. This was my go-to Thai restaurant that I would brag about to others and it always delivered. The food tasted amazing, was beautiful, vibrant, colorful, and every dish was rich with flavor. Friends who tried it for the first time felt like I really knew my Thai restaurants by recommending this place to them. However, a few nights ago I ordered the Green Curry, a Basil vegetable dish and the usually awesome Indonesian Fried Rice. There was CLEARLY another chef this evening because the flavors were bland, the chicken looked old, and most of it tasted like frozen stuff that was reheated. The color was dull and lifeless and there was no care taken with presentation like there usually is. This was my first time experiencing this and I have ordered food from here MANY times before. I was SO let down and my friend who I was introducing to their food for the first time wasn't impressed at all- I was embarrassed after all that bragging that this place was awesome. To the restaurant owners/manager: the evening in question was Tuesday, August 16. Please either severely scold or get rid of whoever the chef was that night- they clearly either didn't know what they were doing or just plain 'ole didn't give a shit.
