Finally got in and found the selection was very poor. After describing what type of frame I was looking for, the sales person went outside of store and came back with 2 closeout frames one of which appeared to be missing part of the lower portion of frame. After compromising and selecting what was supposed to be discounted frames and lenses with no special coatings, the price was well over $400. A week later when I went to pick up my already paid for glasses the store was closed citing short staffing problems. The next day I came back and again found the store closed this time citing a staff meeting. W.T.F. It seems they had no problem staying open to take my money and now are not delivering product. The service was not great to start with and is getting much worse. It should not be my problem if they are having staffing issues. In fact if this persists I will pursuit other means to obtain the glasses that I paid for.

Even with a scheduled appointment, we waited over 45 minutes, and the front desk staff was rude and dismissive instead of apologetic. When we finally saw the doctor, the appointment felt rushed and careless. I did not feel confident in the results at all, and I left worried that my child's prescription might not even be correct. When I immediately asked to cancel the glasses order the same day, I was flatly refused with no clear explanation. What made this even worse was the complete lack of communication afterward. I called multiple times the same day and again the next day, but no one answered the phone or returned my calls. As a parent, being ignored when you are concerned about your child's vision is unacceptable. This experience caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. I trusted this clinic with my child's eye care and left feeling unheard, dismissed, and deeply disappointed. I would never return and strongly warn other parents to look elsewhere.

I went through the preliminary testing and explained what I wanted. I wanted monovision because I had done that before with contacts, and they told me, "Yes, we can do that." They put me through the testing, and the next day I met with the surgeon. He said, "Sure, we can do this for you. No sweat." That was exactly what I needed to hear. I was scheduled for the following Tuesday for my first eye, had the procedure done, and went back the next day for the follow-up. Everything was healing nicely. The one thing I really want to say is that everybody -- the doctors, the receptionists, the scheduling staff, the people on the phone, everyone -- was FANTASTIC. This outfit is the greatest. If you need eye surgery, LASIK, cataract surgery, or anything else Sharp Vision provides, do yourself the biggest favor and go there first. Before my surgery, I was quoted a price weeks in advance and paid it in full. Unfortunately, I wasn't a candidate for LASIK, which was disappointing, but Dr. Schmidt was able to perform the procedure manually instead. Since the LASIK portion wasn't done, I was told the procedure should have cost about $2,000 less. At my follow-up appointment, I didn't see Dr. Schmidt. Instead, I saw another doctor after waiting nearly 40 minutes for an exam that lasted less than five minutes. When I asked about the $2,000 difference, I was told that I actually owed an additional $900 because a deductible had been applied after my original quote. This was extremely frustrating. If I had been informed before surgery that my out-of-pocket cost would increase by $900, I could have planned and budgeted accordingly. Instead, I was given one price, paid it upfront, and then was surprised with an unexpected bill afterward. The medical care itself was great, but the lack of transparency and communication about billing left me very disappointed.

An overall great experience! I had cataract surgery / lens replacement done on both eyes June and then July of 2022. It is now October 2022 and I am still very much enjoying my "new" eyes! I had Dr. Thomas W. Jones III and he did a really great job. I was greatly pleased at how the whole thing went - from the first initial intake steps to consultation with the Dr. to the surgeries to support during the recovery process. The whole staff there did very well from the front desk folks to the surgery nurses. I was pleasantly surprised, frankly. I wish other experiences I've had with medical providers had been near this top-notch. The actual cataract / lens replacement surgeries weren't that bad. Not painful, just a pretty weird feeling for about 5 minutes of an only about 15-20 minute surgery (the Dr is fast but competent). Your head is secured in plasce, but still try not to move around much. :) Recovery was about 3 weeks and also not bad. Pretty much a schedule of a couple kinds of eye drops and don't mess with your eye/ take it easy no physical straining. The nurse they assigned me was incredibly helpful during that time. I chose the medium-far range vision emphasis lenses so I do need reading glasses but being able to clearly see around me and things like being able to see individual leaves on trees is pretty cool! So I would urge anyone who needs cataract / lens replacement surgery to do it and I feel very comfortable recommending Dr. Thomas W. Jones III and Physician's Eye Clinic! read more

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Jones for 20 years. Eye exams every year, execellent service by a very caring Dr. Jones. My husband had a growth on his eyeball, every year Dr. Jones very carefully documented any changes and updated my husband on possible treatments if it continued to grow. When it started to move into the pupil, he recommended surgery. Dr. Jones explained the procedure, any risks involved and was very helpful with all questions my husband had. The surgery was performed without any complications and post surgical care was excellent. My husband couldn't have been happier. I am having the beginnings of cataracts, again Dr. Jones documents and explains where I am in this process. I know cataract surgery is down the road a bit and I can't imagine having anyone doing the surgery other than Dr. Jones. Recently I visited the Skin and Laser clinic. I chose this clinic because I knew if it was connected to the Eye Clinic I could be assured I would receive professional, high quality care.. I have had a consultation with Kandis and a procedure. I was most impressed with her knowledge and honesty in what she would and would not recommend for me. I have had other experiences where the 'sale' was all that was considered. Kandis was professional as well as candid, caring and professional. I highly recommend this office. read more

Regarding corrective laser eye surgery performed in September 2020: I received amazing service on all accounts. Dr. Lueth, his surgical team, and all of the staff that I interacted with at the clinic were extremely professional, cordial, and considerate of my care. The team there has seamlessly integrated pandemic precautions into their process. I was honestly amazed at the service that was provided for the price. In addition to the PRK procedure, there was a consultation, and 2 post-op appts all included. Dr. Lueth was going to schedule a 3rd if I wasn't moving out of state! It's obvious that he and his team really care about the results of their work. As for the procedure itself, the team prepared me for what to expect, so I wasn't surprised by anything. It was evident that everyone on the surgical team understood how distressing eye surgery can be, and they were always quick to recognize my stress level, and reassure me. Dr. Lueth exudes a calm confidence, and his experience, skill, and care are unmistakable. There was never any doubt that I was in good hands. My post-op vision is great, and as expected with PRK, continues to improve. I would highly recommend the clinic, and Dr. Lueth in particular...as if it wasn't evident by the time I spent to write this review! read more

I went to the Physicians Eye Clinic and Surgery Center at the recommendation of a coworker. I called to get some answers to general questions about eye lid surgery and found myself with an initial visit 2 days later. I was promptly scheduled for visual field testing and only had to wait to hear from the insurance company to see if they approved surgery. 2 weeks later, the office called to tell me that I was approved and they had already "penciled" me in for surgery less than 2 weeks later! I had to push that forward a bit to accommodate work. The surgical procedure went off without a hitch. In addition, the pre-surgical care was thorough, and the surgery center staff was very concerned with my comfort, before, during, and after the surgery. I cannot recommend Dr. Louth and his staff any more highly. A great experience! read more

I am From Alaska. I have an urgent eye condition and I needed to be seen by an eye Specialist surgeon. I called other clinics and they were not able to even schedule a consult with me until the middle of August. In my desperate attempt to find a physician my search took me to Physicians Eye Center. She took the time to talk to me about my symptoms, what measures my Physician and I had taken, and understood due to eye swelling and about75%blurred eye vision in my left eye that I needed to be seen. Because I live in Alaska she made an appointment for an eye consult and booked surgery for after the appointment in case it was needed. It's nice when the person on the other end of the phone is not a call center and takes the effort to ask why, when, how. Thumbs up for having a big heart! read more

I truly don't understand the reviews that are negative. Every time I have been here the staff has been friendly and professional. They greet you right away and let you know if there will be a wait time. I don't know about everyone else, but when it comes to eye surgery, I don't want things rushed! Plus, it's worth the wait if there is one(never had that experience here) I had LASIK with Dr. Lueth. He is so kind, calm and professional. I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else. He is honest and I know I can trust his professional opinion and advice. My LASIK came out perfect!! It's amazing to wake up in the morning and see! The post op care has also been terrific. Recently experiencing right eye decreased vision, soreness, and seeing diminished colors, i contacted my primary physician for a referral to an ophthalmologist. Referred to Physician's Eye Clinic in Everett, Wa, I contacted them for an appointment. Tammy was wonderful on the phone, and contacted me back the same day, once she received the referral, and made an appointment for me. once seen, I was referred to a retina specialist, and Tammy again assisted with the referral requirement, getting it started. Tammy is thoughtful, listens, and has a discerning presence. She helped me so much, and needs to be recognized as a blessing to me! read more

I drove from Ferndale, WA to see Dr Lueth. I was scheduled with the hour and a half drive in mind and was seen within minutes of my scheduled times. They were extremely considerate regarding timing of appointments, surgery times and follow up appointments. The nurses were complete and thorough and called within hours of each cataract surgery to inquire as to my well being. I have never been given a doctors personal number in case of emergencies before - but I was here. Dr Lueth took a lot of time explaining my vision options and he provided me with vision I hadn't had since I was 10 years old. Am I pleased - absolutely. read more

I am very pleased with the professional care and expertise I have received here. I have glaucoma, had cataract replacement long ago; I'm very myopic. Dr. Jones is efficient and thorough. I had laser treatment summer 2023 on both eyes to relieve the high pressure in my eye. Those procedures are not fun, but Dr. Jones and his staff listened to my input and helped me be as comfortable as possible. Now the pressure in my eyes has gone from up to 33 down to 15. The staff is also qualified and friendly. I feel comfortable going to this clinic; I've been using them over 20 years. read more

I used to be legally blind in one eye because of a cataract, and after being referred to here by another specialist they deemed I needed an eye surgery. Dr. Lueth answered my questions about my cataract operation soundly and calmly. He did not needlessly scare or pressure me unlike a certain other specialist from another institution. He did not rush me to get an operation. In the end, Dr. Lueth managed to restore most of my long range vision. To correct my short range vision, I had new reading glasses prescribed for me. read more

I just had my yearly eye exam with Dr. Thomas Jones,Jr. who had replaced my lens a few years ago. Tammy at the front desk was great, - friendly, efficient and welcoming. After a very short wait, Cassie, Dr. Jones's assistant guided me to the examination room and did a fantastic job of measuring my vision, giving directions, and preparing everything for Dr. Jones. I have been going to them for years, and my mother and sister have had great success with lasik treatment there. When I go in for an appt, I get checked and then re-checked, and the process is thorough which I feel is important. I myself feel fortunate that I do not have to spend a lot of time with the MD's, and they can spend their time with patients who are there for more serious issues. read more

I feel this practice is first class! Dr. Lueth performed cataract surgery on both eyes and it turned out perfect. One eye had a little problem after 5 days and they made time to see me ASAP. The staff that I intereactived were very knowledgeable and helped me understand my questions. After all my visits, I was impressed with how well my experience with this procedure went. read more

My family and I have been going to Dr. Jones (and his father before him) for 3 generations. We love the care and attention we get from every member of their staff, and can't imagine ever going to any other eye doctor! That's not to say that things always run as smoothly as we might want them too, after all they are human and they have to work with patients who are human also. read more

Initially, the optometrist made an error with my prescription, requiring me to return two weeks later for a reevaluation. I had purchased my own frames out of pocket and gave them to the office to insert the lenses. After that visit, I waited weeks for the glasses to arrive, and by the end of November, there was still no sign of them. In December, I was told the glasses had finally shipped, only to be informed later that UPS had "lost" the shipment -- including the frames I personally paid for. Because of this, I had to return yet again for another fitting about three weeks ago. I was assured the new glasses would be shipped directly to my home. Unsurprisingly, they never arrived. When I called last week, I was told there was an issue with their lab and that the glasses would be shipped as soon as possible. When I called again yesterday, I was told they were still at the lab but completed and would be shipped. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. A staff member told me a manager would call me back, but I never received a call. This has been months of delays, poor communication, repeated mistakes, and zero accountability. If you value your time, money, and sanity, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

The staff said they were "doing me a favor" by letting me still be seen, but I've never been treated so harshly at this eye clinic. This was after me apologizing for being late and even agreeing to do the additional (and out of pocket) OptoMap photos to speed up the appointment. If my late arrival was such a burden to the schedule, I would've rather just rescheduled.

After getting a new prescription and testing out some contacts, he sent me home with a bunch of trials that would tide me over until I could get the full year contacts ordered. They also have a great glasses selection - I could have picked out at least 6 different pairs that I would have been happy with! Overall, a great experience and I have definitely recommended them to my friends and family.
