    Risotto Terra Mare

Ordered for take-out the following: Linguini Alla Vongole - As seen in photo, overcooked angel hair pasta was used instead of linguini. Pasta was too overcooked that the sauce got creamy and tasted like pasta water instead of garlic and clams. Had a good amount of clams though, but the pasta made the entire dish a disappointment. Refund please. Rigatoni Rustica - Good flavor, good amount of beef short rib but pasta was slightly undercooked. Risotto Terre E Mare - Flavor was good, mixing shrimp and chicken is a big no for me. Tagliatelle Con Aragosta - best pasta dish so far! Flavor was perfect, creamy, perfectly cooked tagliatelle. Everything was good! It was a busy night, loud and hard to hear, barely hear music, but got to meet the owners who were very friendly and offered us tiramisu with our take out order. May be best to eat at the restaurant. Do not recommend for takeout.

Found this cute spot before we flew out of O'Hare, and we hit the jackpot. We got there early so it was pretty empty, but that was no indication of how great the food and service was. It has a modern and classy aesthetic. We sat in a very comfortable booth with 4. The service was attentive, good came out quickly. We had the burrata app, muscles and a beer salad to start. Amazing- only thing is it isn't to ate season so can't hold that against them. The main course we had the seafood risotto, rigatoni, a mushroom tagliatelle and we thought we ordered a truffle pasta. They brought a different pasta and once we said we wanted the truffle, they said no problem, left the lobster tagliatelle and brought the truffle as well. They did not charge for the extra meal! Each pasta was better than the last. Highly recommend this spot to locals and visitors!

Everything about this place was great! The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We all ended up ordering different dishes and shared them. Proportions are moderately sized and we ended up taking leftovers for the next day. Staff is super kind and ended up bringing out limoncello for us all to try.

We found a real gem!!! The restaurant packed on Monday evening is a very good sign Under the new ownership for 3 years, this neighborhood favorite is shining! We absolutely loved everything: warm and personal greeting by the owner, the cozy atmosphere of the small neighborhood restaurant, the non pushy and warm welcoming service and , of course, the most important the wonderful cuisine. I ordered branzino from the special menu. It was served perfectly prepared with the well balanced sauce and melting in the mouth texture. My husband's veal parmigiana was abundant, carefully seasoned and not heavy in comparison with the other Italian restaurants. The half-priced on Monday bottle of wine of the excellent wine list complemented our great dinner. We finished our culinary experience with delicious gelato. This restaurant is a must if you like Italian cuisine! I highly recommend! Cannot wait to come back to try new dishes!

Top Italian restaurant in the area This place is new as of 2023, in the old Gaetano's location. Highly recommend a reservation as it's not a big space. The tables are packed relatively tightly and the noise level is fairly high. Food was excellent. They bring fresh focaccia bread with a humus dip when you first sit down. They have an excellent wine selection as well. We got the pollo Milanese, veal with lemon caper sauce, tonno carpaccio, and a traditional spaghetti with tomato sauce (plus one bottle of red wine, $140 pre-tip). Each plate was outstanding. The menu has a lot of diversity to it without being endless. Very impressed and will be back asap

Food was 10 out of 10! So glad that we found this place, because I feel like this is my new go-to for AUTHENTIC pasta. It was our first time here and the pastas we ordered were DELISH and SAVORY! I got the Tagliatelle, and figured I'd only get one lobster tail, but boy oh boy, I got TWO! Husband got the Rigatoni and he thought it was very flavorful, and a good ratio of noodles to meat/sauce. Though not listed on the menu, they were able to accommodate a small butter/parm spaghetti for our toddler. We got there before the dinner rush, and they were able to seat us right away. From the photos, we thought we were super under dressed in our athleisure attire, but we got there and did not feel as so. We will be back!

I want to hear last night and we didn't have a reservation, but we are promptly seated in a booth. The ambience and decor in the restaurant is very modern, chic, and bright. The sweet staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They bring out really good bread and this oil Parmesan dip first starters that was pretty good. They recommended trying the calamari, and I can't recommend it enough. The sauce that is used for the calamari is delectable. I ordered the pasta dish with lobster and shrimp and my date ordered the pasta with beef and cheese. Both are very good and super filling. I would definitely go back and try some thing else. The only thing I would recommend is having more mood lighting and warmth for the dinner hours.

Walked in to an empty restaurant and asked to sit at the bar. Front of house staff was confused but obliged. Bartender is very overwhelmed making drinks for a table on the patio. I'm in absolutely no hurry, so I wait. Eventually another bartender came over, asked for my order and I asked to see a drink menu. He comes back, I ask him about happy hour specials and he wanders away saying "appetizers...." I pulled up the website and saw that the happy hour is actually really good!!! Half off apps and $8 wine. I order Pinot Grigio, baked goat cheese, and calamari. Here's how it went: -Wine was 100% a Chardonnay. I tried to drink it but I really, really couldn't. -Baked goat cheese. Sauce and cheese had flavor, pesto on the bread did not. Not a huge problem but I did notice. -Fried calamari. SIGH. As rubbery as one can get and kind of tasted like the fryer oil needed to be changed. I packaged it up to go (I think I felt too embarrassed to leave a full plate), but threw it away before I got to the car. All in all, I think it could have been good. Maybe I came on the wrong day? Staffing was weird? A little 'off' from what I would expect from a place with white tablecloths in the dining room.

The bread service was fantastic. The tomato focaccia and the baguette were both excellent and I had to remind myself not to fill up on it before the main meal! LOL! We started with the calamari which was very well seasoned and clearly not the typical frozen version you often see from foodservice distributors. It tasted fresh, was crispy, and well prepared. For dinner I ordered the margherita pizza which was simple and delicious. I ended up ordering a second one to-go for my partner who couldn't make it to dinner. He also loved it - even after it sat for ~30 min or so while we chatted more, then drove home to the Maywood area. I would imagine their delivery is pretty good based on that! My mom had the rigatoni vodka with added crumbled Italian sausage which she loved, and my dad ordered the Marcelino. He loved the generous amount of seafood and how well seasoned it was. Chef Gabriel's food is creative and delicious. His brother-in-law Jose, I believe, is the one behind the great cocktail list and making housemade aperitifs. The four of us shared two appetizers. The tuna tartare - chopped tuna on top of creamy avocado surrounded by crispy capers and quail yolk. It was served with homemade potato and vegetable chips. We also shared the goat cheese - creamy melted goat cheese sitting in a pool of tasty marinara. This was served with grilled baguette pieces. This appetizer could use more of the baguette as we ran out of bread and still had goat cheese left to enjoy. For dinner, my sister had the gnocchi with braised beef, short rib, spinach and mushrooms. I know this dish was delicious because this is what my husband ordered the first time we dined here. My two cousins had the chicken limone and said it was very good. (I have my eye on this for next time ). I opted for the branzino which was moist and served in a delicious lemon caper sauce. I would like to see a traditional pasta with marinara sauce on the menu. I think that would be a great addition for clientele who are into the traditional instead of the creative and unique. There was no room for dessert, but shots of limoncello came to the table. So sweet of Divino. Let me tell you the limoncello was amazing. Luckily, I was able to buy a bottle of this housemade limoncello. Since the four of us were raving about the limoncello, right before we walked out the door Divino gave us a tasting of the housemade pistachio cream. Omg! So smooth, creamy and divine.
