This was a build your own Italian dish style spot. Was recommended to try from influencers and was pleased. I highly recommend the hot chicken. Several people stated the heat was too much, but I have 0 complaints about the heat. If you can't handle the heat....(you know the rest) You're free to pick any style pasta noodles, have it tossed in sauce, and topped with veggies, protein, parm cheese etc.. Carbonara w/ Salmon: I must say, finally, they cooked the perfect salmon. In the past, it had always been overcooked and because of that, it was dry. My last visit, they made the perfect pasta bowl. Since you deleted my review I'm letting you know I reported your establishment for hygiene for allowing one of your workers to work around food and serve people with his privates out! My friend and Icame in today around 3:45pm to grab a quick late lunch. When we were standing in line they ran out of steak and the white male cook was standing there prepping it on the cooktop. He proceeded to bend over and we saw his anus! He literally had on no underwear! His bare butt was on full display and his pants were around his thighs. This was absolutely disgusting and unsanitary to have your privates out around food. I can only imagine how many people have ate the food here today that has been contaminated. My wife had great things to say about Piada after having it at work so we got it at work too! I opted for the power bowl with double steak. The steak in my opinion was very overcooked and took away from enjoying the bowl. I also thought the mushrooms were extremely soggy and ended up picking them out of my bowl. We tried it again a few weeks later and I got the avocado chop salad with salmon; this was definitely much better than the steak power bowl. I visited Piada Italian Street Food, which has a setup reminiscent of Chipotle but with an Italian twist. You customize your order as you move through the line, selecting ingredients, and pay at the end. The concept is great, and the menu offers variety--Piadas (Italian wraps) and salads looked particularly appetizing. Since it was a cooler day, I decided to go for the carbonara pasta bowl. I appreciated the customization process: I picked my pasta, sauce, and toppings, and the staff checked to see if I wanted to exclude or add anything. Note: protein costs extra. The amount is reasonable, just be prepared upfront. The cashier was exceptionally friendly and kind, which was a highlight of my visit. However, the person who made my bowl seemed to be having an off day--quiet and a bit disengaged. Not rude, just not particularly welcoming. As for the carbonara bowl, I wanted to like it, but it just didn't hit the mark for me. The pasta was lukewarm, and while the sauce at the bottom was warmer, it wasn't enough to heat the pasta through. I maxed the fresh spinach to the bottom of the bowl, but it had barely wilted by the time I finished, leaving the texture off. Additionally, there was a flavor in the sauce that I didn't particularly enjoy, though that might just be personal preference. I'm not giving up on Piada, though. The guy that was making all of our food dipped one of the ladle into the Alfredo sauce, and then immediately dunked it in the sausage so I hope whoever came behind us wasn't lactose intolerant. He then went on to make my Piada wrong, leaving off anything that would make it not the driest wrap I've ever eaten in my life (the aioli and the creamy Parmesan it's supposed to come with). It's just disheartening to pay $10 for a wrap and then not get half of the things that are supposed to come on it. I basically paid that price for two sprinkles of bacon, iceberg lettuce, and a little tomato and mozzarella. That's not okay. He seemed super preoccupied with making the wrap tight (going so far as to congratulate himself on it), but completely missed the mark on making it correctly. I would be willing to come back to this location if they changed the glaring issues with food handling and quality control. I don't have high hopes for this restaurants longevity without some changes from the management regarding training. read more

I found the small Avocado chop salad delicious, especially with the toasted almonds - and barely needed the dressing, which I'd ordered on the side. He thoroughly enjoyed his Power Bowl, which came in only one size, large enough that he brought some of it home. He was impressed that the quinoa was freshly cooked and still warm under the vegetables and hummus. At 1:30 pm, on Tuesday, the place was quite busy, with a steady stream of people coming to eat in and several delivery people picking up orders. Would definitely try it again and he plans to recommend it to his small group since Piada offers a variety of wraps, salads and pasta. So, I'm up in the area sometimes for business and I saw this being built. Opened recently so went to check out the pasta. You can order one of four types on the menu board, or build your own. I'm lazy, I went for the Pasta Diavolo, (spicy sauce) you have a choice of penne or spaghetti, I went with spaghetti. Tomato's, green onion, and parmesan cheese. You can add on a meat to it, but I just got the pasta alone. I added a parmesan piada stick cause it looked good and I love bread. Little concerned when I noticed both pastas just sitting in an open holding urn type thing on the prep line. Worried it might be a little dried out. But when they put it together, it was pasta first, then covered with sauce, then added other items. They didn't toss it, just covered and served. Got mine to go, and when I opened it I noticed that the sauce probably, (or maybe?) had helped to remoisten and warm it some. Anyway, it was tender and warm when I tried it. ...and it was good stuff. I kinda like the simple amount of ingredients. Not overdone with tons of things clashing with each other. The parmesan stick was a long narrow hunk of bread with melted cheese inside. Not much cheese in each end, but plenty in the middle. It was good, but at $3.49 I don't think it was that great a value. Probably gonna try the lobster bisque next time. Anyway, two sizes pasta, small and regular, I got the regular for $10.99 and I think it was a pretty good deal. With the bread stick it came out about $15 or so total. Seemed pretty reasonable to me. I wish I had something better to say, but after another subpar visit/experience, I just can't justify coming back to this location. It saddens me how quickly the quality of the food, and the service, has plummeted so quickly since this location opened. This time I placed an order to pick up - my usual penne carbonara with grilled chicken & extra tomatoes & spinach. I drove up to the takeout window and waited 2 - 3 minutes before I was even acknowledged. And when I was, the associate wasn't very friendly or professional - she just told me there were other orders in front of mine and I'd have to wait. I looked in the window and didn't see a single person working the line, which seemed odd. 5 - 7 minutes passed, and 2 more cars pulled up behind me. Another associate saw me and asked if I'd been helped yet, and I told him I'd been there for awhile. He asked my name and immediately found my order (it had been packaged up and set aside). When I got home I was so excited to eat the pasta, until I opened the lid to see that nothing had been mixed together, and the entire dish was cold. I live a few minutes away from the restaurant - the pasta should have been warm enough to eat. I warmed up the pasta and mixed the ingredients and sauce together - that's when I noticed sundried tomatoes in the dish. It's not what I requested - I was looking forward to the fresh tomatoes. :( I was okay with the incorrect ingredients, and that the pasta hadn't been tossed...until I took a bite. I've never tasted anything so extremely salty! It liter tasted like they poured a pound of salt onto the dish. It was beyond inedible - ended up going into the trash bin. I've been up to Piada twice, and once they had a pop up at another local buisness, right before they opened this location, that I went too try them up. My first two tries we enjoyed what we got. The first at the pop up I had the option between two wraps and they were accommodating on removing the one item in it that I couldn't eat. Our second visit was a soft opening style event. I really enjoyed my pesto pasta, my husband liked the marinara pasta but would recomend not doing Salmon on one of the pasta dishes. He had originally planned on getting something else, a build your own wrap with salmon, but during the soft opening event that wasn't one of the options. The brownie we got was ok but obviously pre-packaged. The two bread options,the peperoni stick and garlic dough we liked as a snack options. We also tried the cannoli chips and enjoyed those. During that visit management happened to be going around checking in. We asked about the meatballs being beef or pork, in regards to the kids meals so we could determine if out kiddos would/could eat them due to a dietary restriction and he checked in and ended up bringing us two to try on the house. I waited a little while before going back. I ended up trying an online only wrap option that I can't recall the name of. It was a mess, fell a part easily, and ended up just being really gross. I even had gotten there when my pick up was supposed to happen and they handed my order over as it was finished so I doubt it was due to sitting out for awhile. It has made me hesitant to go back for togo vs being able to build my order and eat it right away. Hmmm, so we sat there for 5 minutes figuring out what we wanted to order, placed the order. Unfortunately pickup order increments appear to be every 15 minutes, it was 6:08, we missed the cutoff for 6:15, so we had to wait until 6:30. Waste of time, not cool. Anywho, order was finally ready and the piada was barely wrapped. I ordered the carbonara pasta, the chicken was really good, everything else, not so much. We were welcomed as soon as we came in by many employees. The place is small but setup nicely to maximize its space. Its unique space is perfect for a more intimate dining experience. The menu is very easy to read. They have piadas (wraps), salads and pastas. Choose one of theirs or build your own. They also have a few items at the beginning of the line you can select from too. We downloaded the app as we entered the building for a free PIADA stick. I'm glad we did as it was very delicious and hearty. We also ordered Lobster Bisque! Omgosh, the best for a fast casual restaurant. It was creamy and full of flavor. No longer i have to go to a seafood restaurant or a Brazilian steakhouse to get lobster bisque. Go to Piada. It's the best. So my husband ordered the Pesto Basil Penne Pasta with Crispy Chicken. He ordered this about a month ago for lunch and said it was very delicious and needed me to try this place. So he is definitely a fan. I ordered what has to be the best thing on the menu. I had the Diavolo spaghetti with pesto and sausage added. They advertise this as spicy, it has a little bit of a kick which is a nice touch. The sauce is more on the savory side which I like because I find some spaghetti sauces to be sweet. The green onions add a very nice contrast of flavor and the pesto had a big kick of basil to it. The sausage is seasoned and wasn't a basic sausage that you would normally get. This dish was perfect. We both ordered the regular size pastas which allowed us to have it for dinner again. It reheats beautifully without drying out the pasta because of all of the extra sauce. The employee was an absolute raging bitch to my husband when SHE was the one who got his order wrong. When he asked if he could start his order over she blatantly rolled her eyes at him. We order from the app most of the time and the order has been correct every time. When we dine inside, it's always clean. Even when they are busy the line moves very quickly. The food is by far the best part. I usually get the spicy DIAVOLO PASTA with penne pasta and grilled chicken. But, on this visit I ordered the CARBONARA PASTA, with penne pasta, parmesan alfredo, bruschetta tomatoes, pancetta (bacon), spinach, grated parmesan and grilled chicken. Both dishes are addictively great. A single serving size for me is the small portion. We have ordered the breadsticks several times, but can live without them. They are fine, but not great. The ambiance is clean and efficiently laid out. Here's the main area of dissatisfaction: there isn't enough seating. If the weather is good there is outdoors seating, otherwise, seating is at a premium. Your best plan will be to visit during less busy times of day, or be prepared to take the order to go. read more
