    Carbonara Pasta
    Tee J.

Ordered delivery. It's my first time trying Piada. I have to say that I didn't like what I ordered which was the carbonara pasta with chicken. I probably should have stuck with dishes that I'm familiar with but the photos that I saw made me want to try it. Also, it arrived cold so I warmed it up on a wok. I will likely give it another chance.

Walked in and wasn't greeted. Once at the counter still was not acknowledge. The chef as making a lady order but a quick hi would have help. I had lobster bisque and a Parmesan stick . The soup was good. The Parmesan stick was okay. They had a good amount of seating inside and out. They were constantly cleaning. But I say they need to work a little bit more on customer service. Probably won't be back

Since you deleted my review I'm letting you know I reported your establishment for hygiene for allowing one of your workers to work around food and serve people with his privates out! My friend and Icame in today around 3:45pm to grab a quick late lunch. When we were standing in line they ran out of steak and the white male cook was standing there prepping it on the cooktop. He proceeded to bend over and we saw his anus! He literally had on no underwear! His bare butt was on full display and his pants were around his thighs. This was absolutely disgusting and unsanitary to have your privates out around food. I can only imagine how many people have ate the food here today that has been contaminated. I didn't take a picture to be respectful however, whoever owns this location needs to step in and make corrections ASAP!

Great Experience, Just Want More Pasta Options I had a really good experience at Piada Italian Street Food. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was quick, and the food selections were overall impressive. Everything I tried tasted fresh and flavorful, and I appreciated the variety of toppings and proteins available. My only wish is that they offered more pasta choices. The current options are solid but having a few additional varieties would make the menu even better and allow for more customization. Still, it's a great spot for a casual, tasty meal, and I'll definitely be coming back!

This place is nice and clean. I like the fresh feeling vibes eating inside. The employees are on it as well. Food is good but on the salty side. Reason for the 4. Be careful if watching sodium intake n such.

power bowl with double steak with a blackberry hibiscus lemonade

My wife had great things to say about Piada after having it at work so we got it at work too! I opted for the power bowl with double steak. The steak in my opinion was very overcooked and took away from enjoying the bowl. I also thought the mushrooms were extremely soggy and ended up picking them out of my bowl. We tried it again a few weeks later and I got the avocado chop salad with salmon; this was definitely much better than the steak power bowl. The blackberry hibiscus is definitely a must try!

Food was amazing, Aiden & Alexis were wonderful in making the process smooth & delightful. Definitely bringing in more friends!! This is the location off of Glade Rd in Euless!!

    Carbonara pasta bowl

I visited Piada Italian Street Food, which has a setup reminiscent of Chipotle but with an Italian twist. You customize your order as you move through the line, selecting ingredients, and pay at the end. The concept is great, and the menu offers variety--Piadas (Italian wraps) and salads looked particularly appetizing. Since it was a cooler day, I decided to go for the carbonara pasta bowl. I appreciated the customization process: I picked my pasta, sauce, and toppings, and the staff checked to see if I wanted to exclude or add anything. Note: protein costs extra. The amount is reasonable, just be prepared upfront. The cashier was exceptionally friendly and kind, which was a highlight of my visit. However, the person who made my bowl seemed to be having an off day--quiet and a bit disengaged. Not rude, just not particularly welcoming. As for the carbonara bowl, I wanted to like it, but it just didn't hit the mark for me. The pasta was lukewarm, and while the sauce at the bottom was warmer, it wasn't enough to heat the pasta through. I maxed the fresh spinach to the bottom of the bowl, but it had barely wilted by the time I finished, leaving the texture off. Additionally, there was a flavor in the sauce that I didn't particularly enjoy, though that might just be personal preference. I'm not giving up on Piada, though. The concept and menu variety make it worth a second visit--next time, I'll try one of the Piadas or salads!

"BLT" missing any type of sauce
    Jess M.

Super not impressed with this place. The guy that was making all of our food dipped one of the ladle into the Alfredo sauce, and then immediately dunked it in the sausage so I hope whoever came behind us wasn't lactose intolerant. He then went on to make my Piada wrong, leaving off anything that would make it not the driest wrap I've ever eaten in my life (the aioli and the creamy Parmesan it's supposed to come with). It's just disheartening to pay $10 for a wrap and then not get half of the things that are supposed to come on it. I basically paid that price for two sprinkles of bacon, iceberg lettuce, and a little tomato and mozzarella. That's not okay. He seemed super preoccupied with making the wrap tight (going so far as to congratulate himself on it), but completely missed the mark on making it correctly. I would be willing to come back to this location if they changed the glaring issues with food handling and quality control. I don't have high hopes for this restaurants longevity without some changes from the management regarding training.

Normally, I don't consider people from St. Louis to be credible deli evaluators, but I was desperate and made the hour drive to Grapevine. We got there at 11:15 and the line was nearly to the door. Within 30 minutes, it was well out into the street. That was a promising sign. The sandwich menu covered the entire wall over the counter. Lots of non-New-York sandwiches like Cubans, gyros, etc, but over in the left corner were the classic Ruebens and pastramis. I went for the latter. A REAL NY deli usually has a few soups like split pea and chicken noodle and matzoh. No soups. Bummer. They had a half dozen sides - 3 kinds of potato salads and a few slaws. I went with the German potato salad. The drink option was spartan - they tossed a styrofoam cup at me and pointed to the soda fountain. The pastrami sandwich was OK for Texas. A SUPER pastrami sandwich on hard rye can get me moaning like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- only I don't have to fake it. The German potato salad was watery and bland - I should have gone with the mustard potato salad. Turnaround was on the slow side. Napkins = paper towel roll on table. Flimsy plasticware. The overall vibe was affordable utilitarian. I'll give the sandwich a 4, everything else a 3. Next time I'll drive the extra half hour to Cindi's.

I ordered the turkey bacon avocado. It is a bit cheaper from the other chain sub shop in Grapevine, and I was interested to see how they matched up. First off, they added my pickles. I like pickles and it can slip past people's attention, as it is not a standard topping. The bread was soft and the sandwich was a good size. The bacon was nice and crispy, but I found the filling a little skimpy. The turkey was completely lost. The strongest flavors were provelone and bacon, but it is essentially a turkey sandwich. There just wasn't much of it. Nor the veg. Lettuce and tomato were just barely present. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't GOOD. When arriving to the table I was super pumped to dig in. When opening the wrapper to snap my picture my hype for the gyro quickly fell. The gyro wasn't very appealing and it looked like they just quickly put it together. It had slices of meat with some greenish brown shredded lettuce on a couple drops of the tzatziki sauce. The bread was okay but just very bland. The fries were fresh out of the fryer and were your typical standard curly fries. I just wish there were more veggies on it vice lettuce, meat, and sauce. Once again, this was a wonderful Yelp event. Kendall and Postino's, thank you very much…read more We chose to visit around the time of opening. After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!
