    Cappuccino

Went last nite with friends, all enjoyed. Ambiance was quiet Sunday, background music was great, we had lotsa fun conversations and all could hear, no shouting needed. The served complimentary bread which had a bit of salt on the crust, nice! I started with the arugula, beet, fennel salad, it was ok way over dressed w/ too much vinegar, arugula was dead, the beet squares seemed over cooked and not firm. I had the cheese & spinach ravioli with sage butter, yummy. Husb hD the shrimp francese bug shrimp he enjoyed. Others had the veal saltimboca which they enjoyed. Dessert we chose the panacotta which was kept cold too cold so we missed the typical consistency. Others had the gelato which was hard frozen. Maria our server did a great job. While things weren't exactly perfect we did enjoy! Cappuccino was delish!

Stopped here happenstance for lunch. It is Valentines Day. We had the stuffed zucchini flowers and the Mortazza pizza, the chef prepared the pizza in the shape of a heart. Maria our server was wonderful. Everything was delicious and fresh.

Ordered four appetizers: Nonna's meatballs, calamari, ceasar salad, and eggplant. The first three were good but something was seriously wrong with the eggplant parmigiana. The eggplant was mushy and not at all hot and was wrapped around a giant ball of soured mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. The waiter was told and did nothing about the matter. We were billed and paid for what would later give the taster a stomach ache.

What an amazing addition to Stuart!! After living here for 30 yrs I've been bored and unimpressed with local restaurants. This restaurant brought me back to life!! The ambiance, service, and food impeccable. Every bite of our food last night was amazing. Beef carpaccio melt in your mouth, steamed muscles and clams plump and cooked to perfect, white truffle pizza (the dough) my goodness, and finally the star table side cacio de Pepe!!!!! Of course we had to go for dessert. Cannoli and panna cotta. Everything is divine. The atmosphere is more for adults and date night, try it out you won't be disappointed

They state that for the past 16 years they have used fresh ingredients in all their dishes and you'll notice that fact in every dish. The Ambiance: This lovely little restaurant reminds me of the bistro's I enjoyed in Venice. Get there early as it's always packed and there's not that many tables. They also offer several tables for outside dining. The Service: La Forchetta lost a star here as the service was slow and perfunctory at best. Our server couldn't seem to get her act together and seemed to be flustered by anything out of the norm. If I was to guess, having owned a few restaurants myself, I'd guess she was new and overworked having more tables than she could handle. The Food: A good sign of the quality of your meal is the quality of the salad and bread. Although this time we skipped the salad, the bread, or more precisely the garlic rolls featured the perfect balance of garlic butter and were good enough to be a meal unto themselves. After gorging on the rolls, we decided to share the calamari which turned out to be oh so crispy, and unlike so many other overly chewy offerings, was mouth watering tender. For our entrees, we chose the Penne pasta which was made al dente and featured a wonderfully robust bolognese sauce. Our second entree was the lobster filled raviolis which featured an amply filled fresh lobster covered in a creamy pink sauce. For desert we shared the house specialty tiramisu which was good but not necessarily memorable. The Bottom Line: As with all my reviews my "customer so what" would I come back... the answer is yes, because the food was so good, we'd try it again and hopefully the service would be up to the food.

The last four or five 'highly recommended" Italian restaurants in the Jensen Beach/Stuart area we tried were OK to even pretty good but not at all memorable or begging another visit so we always went back to our favorite. Felt a little guilty coming here but WOW-we were blown away. We ate here twice before writing this review because I wanted to make sure our first visit wasn't a fluke. On the first visit my wife ordered Shrimp Linguine Fradiavolo which was a generous portion of shrimp over linguine with a wonderfully spicy marinara sauce. (She let me try it). I ordered Gnocchi Sorrentina which I customized to my preferences. Substituted marinara for meat sauce and added some charred Italian sausage. Probably the best gnocchi I've ever had. Portions of both dishes were large enough to take back to enjoy for lunch the next day. On our second visit, my wife had Spaghetti Al Pomodoro and I tried Veal Marsala. Both were north of wonderful! During both visits we also enjoyed fresh garlic bread. Uncle Guiseppe's is busy and noisy. Service is so good you don't notice the "busy" once you're seated. This was our best restaurant find this trip.

Husband and I had a hankering for some good Italian but we didn't feel like going out to eat…read more We picked up some food here to go, having never eaten here before. Let me start by saying, I have had hundreds of cauliflower pizzas, from many different restaurants. I can't seem to find anywhere that makes them right. I ordered the cauliflower Quatro fomaggi pizza... My husband picked the order up a few minutes past it's prime so we got it a bit cold. Despite the pizza literally being cold by the time it got to my house, it was NO JOKE the best cauliflower pizza I have had in my life. The flavors were spectacular, cheeses were savory and sweet, sauce was ridiculously flavorful and enjoyable. My husband got some lasagna and he enjoyed it thoroughly. We also got the gluten free chocolate mousse cake and it was decadent and sweet. We split it and it was so full of flavor, one slice was enough for us to share. My husband recounted that he's been struggling to eat meals recently and this meal literally brought back his enjoyment for food. We enjoyed the food a lot. I will most definitely be coming in for a sit down experience for the best cauliflower pizza I've ever had in my life. If it's that good cold, I can't imagine how good it is hot. It was so nice to enjoy some high quality food and to be able to stay gluten free

My sister ordered the Rigatoni Boscaiola with a chicken cutlet on it. Looking at the chicken, it was visibly pink, and she understandably didn't feel comfortable eating it. We informed our server, who apologized, but the plate never left our table and was never taken to the kitchen for anyone to inspect. We ended up removing the chicken to a separate plate ourselves. When the bill arrived, the chicken was still included. After we asked about it, the server told us the chef said, "It's just a vein." Please see photo attached as the chicken is visibly pink and we are aware what a vein looks like. That was extremely frustrating because the chef never actually saw the chicken after we raised the concern--the plate remained at our table the entire time. We weren't looking for a free meal. We simply wanted our concern to be taken seriously and for someone to inspect the chicken before dismissing it. Instead, we paid for chicken my sister no longer felt comfortable eating. The other pasta dishes and appetizer were fine, and had our concern been handled appropriately, we wouldn't have left a review at all.

My husband was asked to dance by an older lady and he had a great time. Then my daughter was walking by the band and the guitar player community asked her if she wanted to sing and she just sang away with the band. It was a great experience. Definitely on our list of fav restaurants! Met Josephine; she is a lovely lady.
