AMERICA's PIE IS BACK! After long time waiting for our go to pizza place in West Chester, they have returned from the Great Flood of '22! When we moved here a year ago and discovered this gem, it was like a match made in heaven for us pizza lovers! By the time we explored their sandwiches on their menu it happened... The Great Flood of '22. Long story short their place flooded from a random act of the devil himself; however, America's Pie persevered. With a very heart wrenching away message, they closed shop, picked up some mops, and got to work. Then they dried themselves off and opened up their door, more importantly their pizzas, to our little big town. Tonight I finally went back after over 3 months of waiting. Job ordered pizza from here today and it was outstanding! There were so many different speciality pizzas to choose from. I went with a slice of the Cali vegetarian and Philly cheesesteak. The Cali vegetarian was a 10/10 and I kept telling my coworkers to try it. It was packed and extremely filling. The pizza was full of flavor and freshness! Crust was perfection, sauce was good and I have zero complaints. I then decided to try a slice of the Philly cheesesteak because so many people were grabbing it, but it wasn't my favorite. Maybe because I was comparing it to the Cali vegetarian, but it was a bit dry and had a one note flavor. Still good and I still ate the entire slice, but i now know it is something I can do without next time. My coworkers all raved about the classic cheese, and pepperoni pizza. Their name, America's Pie, indicates pizza is their focus. What I like about pizza places is their toppings are usually very good and this was true here. I got the Philly special which came with a special hot sauce which I found very tasty. The peppers and onions on Dan's sandwich look nice, big, good and fresh. Nice big menu. This rating is really about a 3.5. Went for Cheesesteaks and had a Cheesesteak with Fried Onions and Ketchup(this is my standard when evaluating). Cheesesteak meat and cheese were very good. Chopped nice and the cheese mixed in so you got cheese with every bite. Enough onions and not overpowering. The problem was the roll. It was the weak spot of what could have been a very good cheese steak. I asked where they got them from and no on seem to know. The closest I got was it was perhaps an Amoroso roll. The roll did taste like a bagged Amoroso roll you would get at the supermarket so it could have been. After seeing another couple getting the cheesesteak egg rolls and raving about them, ordered them as well. I liked them a lot. My crew thought they were a little greasy. They weren't wrong, but the taste was good in my opinion with plenty of meat and cheese. Also ordered the pierogies for appetizer. They were just okay. Looked like frozen that they stuck in the deep fryer. I wouldn't order them again. All in all a good experience. Would I go back just for the cheesesteak egg rolls-probably not. read more

As I sit her with my pants tight, my heart is also as enlarged as my stomach. I just got done the Thanksgiving Feast from America's Pie and once again they crush any cuisine they offer. I never imagined doing take out for Thanksgiving. We've always done parents or in-laws but as we know this year is different. Truthfully it snuck up on me and I messaged them the night before pickup (Thanksgiving Eve) and was lucky to sneak in the last remaining spots. The menu had a hefty amount of choices & servings in each category and the portions were enough for leftovers. Salad(1/2), Entrees(1/4), Sides(3/8). The entree category not only contained a large portion of delish and moist protein, it included gravy, dinner roll & cranberry. Considering that each meal contained 3-8 oz sides some of my family bartered for 1/2 side swaps. I was able to taste 5 of the 8 side choices by sharing and they were peppered with traditional tastiness beyond anything I could have whipped up during the craziness of a pandemic. One last perk was complete customization of each individual meal, no fighting over choosing the menu! At $25/pp it was a steal, I could have not provided that much varied food for the price let alone the time, effort and headache of shopping and cooking. There was even an option to buy extra sides($3) and 2 different desert options for purchase($5). We didn't get extra sides bc with 6 people we were able to cover all the side choices but you know we hit up both bread pudding options-AP specialties and a must when you order, beyond delicious!! The way America's Pies family atmosphere and wanting to cook for the community at every turn really helps alleviate the guilt of having the perfect holiday and all the tedious work that comes along with it. They help you get back to what is really important, time to be with your family unstressed and on budget and with leftovers to rehash all the fun you had and memories made instead of doing dishes!! 3 of the 20 wings in my order of 20 wings were the finger tip. Not the drumstick or the flat, the tip. There is nothing to eat on the tip..... you are not supposed to serve that to paying customers. I felt disrespected and I know only cheap bums count the wings on delivery to make sure they get the 20 they order.. but that's me. Stopped by at America's Pie with some friends for lunch. It's a small, hole-in-the-wall pizza/Italian place with great prices and some dingy decor. It's got a few TV's around the wall and just groups of old guys everywhere. However, the food is great, the people are kind, and the chefs are merry, and the prices are just right as well. I ordered two slices, one was a broccoli/tomato/cheese white pizza (I forget the name, something like Holiday White or something), and the other was a Hawaiian. The slices ended up being extremely generous and I ended up even bringing some home. The Holiday White was very filling, ingredients were very fresh and succulent. The Hawaiian was a bit disappointing, just a plain cheese pizza with topping of chopped ham and pineapple very obviously shoddily put on once the cheese pizza was heated. The pieces were quite hastily put on that when I held the slice, all the topping ended up falling into the center. No-bueno. My friend ordered the Pistol Pete sandwich, which I highly recommend if you want something heavier. All in all, America's Pie is a great stop by for something to grab for lunch. It's got reasonably tasting pies and Italian food (at very reasonable prices), and I'll definitely stop by again. Atmosphere and my Hawaiiian pizza are the only gripes, and I'd give this restaurant a 3.5 star if there was an option, but I'll have to bump down. There seems to be some mixed reviews for this place. If you're going for something to hold you up for lunch, that isn't too expensive and is still quite tasty (I am not very picky for pizza) then America's Pie will do the job quite nicely. read more

We recently had Americas Pie catering for work which is Manufacturing. They catered for over 300 people across our three shifts the last begin 10pm. We had Chicken marsala, Roast Beef Tenderloin & Salmon loads of fresh vegetables, pasta, salad & desserts. The food was top quality, hot and fresh and on time. I can not give enough praise to Americas Pie for their hard work and awesome food. Also must add fabulous value for money, as well as really great people to work with.
