Since it was our first…read moretime here, we ordered a variety of steaks (for you outlanders that's a Philly style sandwiches usually composed of thinly sliced meats grilled and served on a long roll with toppings). We ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions, a buffalo chicken cheesesteak with fried onions and a pizza steak. All sandwiches were pretty generous in size and a 1/2 of a sandwich was enough to satisfy. The rolls are very seedy with sesame seeds which I do like but may be off putting for others. Our chicken cheesesteak eater was pleased with the flavor but would have preferred the chicken to not be shaved but more as small pieces as served in some other places. Of course shaved meat is the traditional way and chicken is definitely not traditional for a cheesesteak so to each his own. Service was prompt and polite.

I have to say I was happy to see that they opted out of the usual sad lettuce and anemic tomato that is typical of early spring. I think it was lacking some salt as it was missing something but overall was ok and served with crispy shoestring fries. The pot pie was topped with some puffed pastry and had a nice velvety sauce with hints of tarragon. Very nice. My dining partner finished my burger and took most of the pot pie and the side salad that came with it home. Even though my dining partner couldn't finish his regular entree, he wanted dessert. After looking at the choices the server suggested the seasonal dessert which was beignets with whipped cream, chocolate and strawberries. I was reticent but was happy with the choice because the chocolate dipping sauce (of which there was plenty ) was DELICIOUS! The beignets were fried puff pastry or croissant dough that one dipped in the warm chocolate fudge-y ganache and/or whipped cream. I ordered coffee which paired well with the dessert and it was delightfully fresh. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Decor is industrial farmhouse. Clientele consists of workers from the local courthouse up to about 6 pm when we saw families starting to file in. Nice place, good food, good value.

I specifically asked them about the pizza and was told there wasn't one on the order. Then someone else had to drive all the way back there and our entire dinner plans got pushed back by half an hour while we were waiting for the pizza pickup. Mistakes happen, and getting an order wrong wouldn't have bothered me nearly as much. Honestly, not a big deal at all. What bothered me was that instead of owning the mistake, they blamed me and made up a story that I was too impatient to wait for the pizza. Very disappointing way to handle a simple mistake.

Stopped in for a quick bite on our way home from dropping off our daughter at college. We were not looking for anything special but were very pleasantly surprised. The service was super fast. I ordered eggplant parm platter, hubby had chicken parm. They brought us each a basket of warm bread. Food was delicious. Pasta was in a sauce that resembled vodka sauce and it was awesome.
