Pic has the BEST wings hands down and I will go to my grave making that claim. Their wings are exactly how I like them. On the smaller side so they're crisp and not slimy and fatty. Their wing sauce is absolutely delicious. My go to is hot but it may be a little hot for some people so you also can't go wrong with spicy. The prices on their wings are also really good in my opinion especially since 1 wing counts as the drum and flat combined. The fries they served with the wing basket I ordered last night (that came with 6 wings, fries, bleu cheese, celery for $13 I believe) were new and surprisingly very good. They were big and potatoey. The bartender advised us they're newer fries and people have been enjoying them. We also ordered tails and a baked potato. We never have complaints with our food from here. I haven't ever really ordered anything else as they're known for their wings and that's what I stick with. $2 PBR drafts are my go to here. The bartenders have always been nice and attentive providing great service. They're friendly and very easy to get along with. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was I reserve those for places that cannot be duplicated. It is Covid time but they really have it down pat. My husband and I rode on his motorcycle there on a Saturday and it was crazy busy. Filled with bikers. The servers were stretched thin and running around doing their best. So of course the service wasn't great but it was understandable. I don't think people come to bars like this for the service to begin with. The atmosphere was lively and fun. The beer was cold and good. They had Mad Elf on tap which is only the best way to drink that beer. We got jalapeño poppers, they were over cooked but somehow still cold in the center. They however are the cheddar ones which most places serve cream cheese (ick) The table was dirty, It had sauce on it from the last people. We could see into the kitchen and it was god awful disgustingly dirty. There's just no way this place can't afford to keep it clean. The grime build up and how dirty the friers were made my stomach kind of turn knowing I ate what came out of them. The staff there was very nice. Waitresses are awesome. The wings were good. No fat which is great, and a lot of sauce. Their sauce was sooooo good. We got the spicy sauce. It was nice texture and sweet and spicy. Over all I would go back. Go enjoy yourself at the Pic! Family owned for almost a hundred years! It's got it all. People. Product. Price. First let me tell you that I haven't been here in 45 years (maybe longer). So I told that to one of the owners, Uncle Brucie (who doesn't look a day over 70, am I right?). He said "oh. You're a regular!" He's the guy that could be a stand in for Groucho Marx. He'll be running around like his niece Bonnie making sure your every need is attended to. Our waitress was Angela who should be on the Young and Restless, just an absolute delight who exudes customer service and genuinely looks like she likes her job. In fact, they are all working hard for total customer satisfaction! Bruce told us when he started working there he was told that make it a family place because that glass of beer tastes the same down the road. Good advice. My point is that you feel at home here and totally welcomed! Now let's talk food! My brother in law and I got what's called Tails. You might see Tails and Ears on the menu and say ooooh, I better stay away from those! You'd be wrong. You can get 5 or 10 or 15 tails so we both got 10 each. Ok. We're both in our 60's and I could only eat 6. He ate 5 and we were stuffed. You may consider getting them "dry" and dipping it yourself in the sauce. This way if you take them home you can share with others. Everyone enjoyed their meals and all 8 of us agreed to meet there again! Price? Very reasonable! I don't want to let out a very special secret but they have what's called "Tail Tuesday." Each (huge) tail made of pure chicken breast is lightly breaded (coated) and fried then dipped in sauce if you wish. We got 10 tails for $10! Overall I'm giving this place 5 stars because it was such a deal and the food and drink was excellent. Not to mention the super nice people who work there. And I mean that. 45 minute ride for the best wings I've ever eaten. We ate them off their food truck previously, and they were good, but, having them at the inn was an out of body experience. I went here for some years when I lived closer. When I went, the outdoor bar ran a lot in the spring, summer, and fall. When I first started going, there was a really nice pool table which last few times I was there, in 2021, it was gone. It was nice to see the biker families come and go. It was a heavy biker bar in the past, but that decreased unfortunately. It used to have more of a dive bar feel too. It is still a great bar. Good drink prices. Ever since Covid came full-swing and took everyone down a notch, it's been hard to find places that kept the same quality and standards. Sadly, The Pic seems to be one of those places that went downhill. Perhaps I've just been going on bad days? With my last visit though, meats were dry and mildly overcooked, and I found my stomach feeling queasy the following morning... Newer joints have also begun topping them on flavorful ribs, brisket, and barbecue chicken. We've all still grown up hearing the radio commercials. The old-timey tune of it still brings a small smile to my face. There's still plenty of memories in the walls, too. Hell, some of us have friends that took up a job at one point or another serving here. It remains a community-driven and family-oriented place with history, and it'll stay alive so long as people keep using it as a hangout hub. I still love it, and hope it never fades away... although I do hope that I come back one day to see that it's as good again as I remembered. Long live the Pic! read more

Was down in the pines searching for the Jersey Devil and the kids called looking for wings. The Pic was right up the road so I figured I'd run In and grab a tray. Not for nothing, searching for the elusive Jersey Devil will make you hungry. The car was filled with the scent of hot wings and my mouth watered the entire way. Got home and cracked open the tray and the family dove in. The wings here aren't big and the sauce has a strange sweetness to it. These particular wings were awful. The sauce, as I said was strange. The wings were not meaty and were full of plenty of broken bones. Makes for some unpleasant eating. It was awful. So if you're out searching for the Jersey Devil, don't bother looking around the Pic.
