You will be granted nicely from the ladies at the FRONT DESK! They are working hard and non stop! I heard the phones ringing non stop and the ladies were able to handle everything PROFESSIONALLY without showing any signs of STRESS!! BRAVO!!! Booked based on a $59 new-patient special, after being told over the phone that a deep cleaning (if needed) would run $1,300. I went to the dentist last year, so I didn't think I would be needing a deep cleaning and went ahead with appointment. During the exam, the hygienist was very heavy-handed, enough to really hurt, then immediately pushed a deep cleaning. When I said I couldn't afford it, she put her hands up and said "I don't talk money, I'm just telling you what I recommend"-- then told me another hygienist who "doesn't talk about money either" would be coming in. That hygienist never actually showed up; I suspect they could tell I was upset and backed off. The dentist confirmed I had zero cavities. I explained to him that I don't want to waste their time, or my time, and if they're going to sell me a deep cleaning, I simply cannot afford it. He said, let me see what our sales person can do The salesperson then appeared with a quote: $3,400 cash -- more than double what I'd been told on the phone -- or $1,450 if I purchased their recommended insurance plan. I told him no, I can't afford it, getting more noticeably upset He disappeared for 5-10 minutes and came back with the exact same total, just broken into different line items. By the time I walked out, I had told three different people four times I couldn't afford it, and there were no offers of other options that might be within my price range. Called my old dentist and got a quote of $600-$800 cash for a deep cleaning, but was advised they aren't sure I'm going to need it. They are farther but worth a drive to save over $1000. So, I would skip this place unless you enjoy sales pitches with your dental work.

Even the numbing injections were surprisingly gentle, making it the most comfortable dental procedure I've ever had. Before finding Dr. Park, I saw another dentist who not only completely missed these cavities on my X-rays but despite me repeatedly mentioning my tooth pain, he kept telling me that there were no issues and that's when I knew it was time to find a new provider. From my first visit with Dr. Park, I could tell things were different. I came here because I wanted to go in network for my delta dental but it was a huge huge huge mistake. The dentist said I needed two fillings on tooth number 14 and 15 because they were cracked. He also said we should do a filling on number 20 to close the gap between tooth #19 and #20. Tooth #20 was a virgin tooth and if you goggle it, it says to never drill on a virgin tooth to close the contact. When he did my fillings on # 14 and 15, he said that the tooth wasn't sealed so he redid it right then and there when I left the office I was in pain right away and they said I needed to come in to have my bite adjuste. When I came in and he evaluated the tooth he said he needed to re do it again and was not sealed. This was now the third time he drilled on this tooth . I went back in a third time and he said that maybe it is close to a nerve and I now I might need a root canal. He never mention anything like this and the teeth did not have any decay and now mind you none of these teeth had any problems prior to him drilling on my teeth. I went back to my previous dentist and he looked at the X-rays and intra oral cam pics and couldn't figure out why he did any of this work. I then went to the endodontist to be sure. The endodontist did not think I needed a root canal, but to have that tooth resealed because it looked as though the filling was not sealed properly as I couldn't bite down. . I had my previous and now current dentist redo the filling on 14 and he said that the filling just literally fell out like it was never sealed. The tooth was never the same and I ended up needing to root canals on tooth number 14 and 15. And now I am having pain on tooth number 20 and that tooth never had a filling or anything wrong with it prior to Dr. Park doing my fillings . My daughter also had fillings done by him and has sensitivity and problems with the teeth that he worked on. Before I had the root canal, I called Dr. Park's office and asked that he refund my co-pays and refund delta dental as I was having the filling redone and he failed to do so. I really made a huge mistake going to this dentist and I have suffered tremendously. I am so disappointed I will never be going back to this Dentist and for anyone reading this review trust me and go elsewhere. I made a mistake trying to save money because my previous dentist is amazing and a perfectionist. I never had one thing go wrong in the last 10 years. Trying to save money ended up compromising my teeth and I'm devastated.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience here was extremely concerning…read more I brought my boyfriend to Pacific Dental Group because he had a very swollen gum near his wisdom tooth. We initially thought he might have food stuck underneath the gum and wanted to have it evaluated. After taking X-rays, we were told he had four cavities in the back teeth, needed his wisdom teeth removed, two root canals, crowns, a deep cleaning, and two fillings. We were quoted approximately $17,000 without dental insurance. We were also told the situation was an emergency and that the swelling was causing a sinus infection and could spread. Because this was an enormous amount of dental work and money to be presented with all at once, we told them we wanted to do our own research and get another opinion before making any decisions. At that point, we felt the staff became rude and snippy with us and repeatedly questioned why we weren't taking immediate action. Instead of feeling informed and supported, we felt pressured. The next day, we traveled to Tijuana and saw a highly rated endodontic/root canal specialist for a second opinion. They performed their own X-rays and testing and told us they found only one cavity and did not recommend the extensive treatment plan we had been given the day before. They believed the gum issue was likely related to something being trapped underneath it. They treated the swollen area by removing the pus, cleaning it thoroughly, stitching the area, and performing a deep cleaning. The entire treatment was approximately $680, took about an hour, and he already feels significantly better. The difference between the two evaluations and proposed treatment plans was shocking to us. I'm very glad we trusted our instincts and sought another professional opinion before agreeing to $17,000 worth of dental work, including procedures that could permanently alter his teeth. Based on our experience, I strongly encourage anyone presented with a major treatment plan here to consider getting an independent second opinion before proceeding.
