This woman said quote "Oh my God, you're lying" Where is the professionalism? Where is the sincerity for another woman grieving her dear mother? Why would I lie about something so serious and horrible? I ask to set the appointment for my father with another receptionist. I ask then to speak to the manager, who happens to be the ever-so-shocked, Chelsea. This new lady apologizes, but also in the same breath defends Chelsea. Both ladies incredibly rude. I am so mad that I needed to even have this conversation. I hope they both learn lessons in healthcare professionalism, empathy, phone etiquette and tact. Disappointed!

I had a filling on a tooth and pointed out during the exam visit another tooth that appeared dark and was told it was fine, come around to my 2nd annual visit the hygienist pointed the same dark tooth out and now I have another cavity that needs to be filled. Previously I had a tooth that had a deep cavity and they attempted to just fill it when in reality had to get a root canal done, and inevitably got a root canal by another dentist because the pain had become unbearable, also costing a ton of money out of pocket. I've initially had a good experience but these last two major issues have made it so I'm considering other places.

When I first started my search, I visited another dentist who quoted me nearly $8,000 for a root canal--even after insurance (Delta Dental). I was in pain, overwhelmed, and desperate for the right care. From the moment I called Ethos, I knew I was in good hands. The receptionists are some of the kindest, most attentive people I've ever met--they listen with care, are incredibly organized, and made sure I was seen right away. At my first appointment, Paige (the hygienist) was wonderful--gentle, thorough, and genuinely kind. The office itself is spotless, modern, and so comfortable. Each room has a TV with headphones, clean cozy blankets, and little touches that make you feel at ease. Dr. Vargas has been an absolute light throughout my entire experience. He is not only highly intelligent and skilled, but also approachable and compassionate. He explained every step of my care plan clearly, always put my best interest first, and made sure I felt heard and comfortable. I needed a couple of root canals (my first ever), and while I was nervous, the process was painless, quick, and seamless. Their referral for an endodontist was also excellent. Back at Ethos, Carlos did an amazing job crafting my temporary crown--it was carefully sculpted, perfectly color-matched, and surprisingly comfortable. My permanent crown was also a perfect fit, and when I needed a minor adjustment afterward, Dr. Vargas immediately got me in and personally followed up to make sure everything felt right. The fact that he even called me after appointments to check in says everything about the level of care here. More recently, I had another cleaning and started their whitening program. The team took into account my teeth sensitivity and took the time to explain the process thoroughly and made sure my whitening trays were precise and comfortable. At that visit I also saw Dr. Sewell, who was so fun, energetic, and personable--he has a fantastic sense of humor and made the whole experience enjoyable. From start to finish, Ethos has gone above and beyond in every aspect of care. Whether you see Dr. Vargas or Dr. Sewell, you will be treated with kindness, expertise, and genuine care. Having been to several dentists over the years, I can confidently say that Dr. Park is the most knowledgeable, thorough, and skilled dentist I've encountered. Last December, Dr. Park identified and treated 5 cavities that had been causing ongoing tooth pain. Thanks to his expertise, I'm finally toothache-free. What impressed me most was how meticulous he was throughout the process while also making the experience as comfortable as possible. Even the numbing injections were surprisingly gentle, making it the most comfortable dental procedure I've ever had. Before finding Dr. Park, I saw another dentist who not only completely missed these cavities on my X-rays but despite me repeatedly mentioning my tooth pain, he kept telling me that there were no issues and that's when I knew it was time to find a new provider. From my first visit with Dr. Park, I could tell things were different. He listened carefully to my concerns, performed additional testing and imaging, and ultimately discovered the underlying issues that had been overlooked. I've also had multiple cleanings at the office and recently got a night guard for my teeth-grinding, and every experience has been excellent. I am a Registered Nurse but I used to be a dental assistant and my dad is a retired dentist. I will…read morenever go back to this dentist ever. I came here because I wanted to go in network for my delta dental but it was a huge huge huge mistake. The dentist said I needed two fillings on tooth number 14 and 15 because they were cracked. He also said we should do a filling on number 20 to close the gap between tooth #19 and #20. Tooth #20 was a virgin tooth and if you goggle it, it says to never drill on a virgin tooth to close the contact. When he did my fillings on # 14 and 15, he said that the tooth wasn't sealed so he redid it right then and there when I left the office I was in pain right away and they said I needed to come in to have my bite adjuste. When I came in and he evaluated the tooth he said he needed to re do it again and was not sealed. This was now the third time he drilled on this tooth . I went back in a third time and he said that maybe it is close to a nerve and I now I might need a root canal. He never mention anything like this and the teeth did not have any decay and now mind you none of these teeth had any problems prior to him drilling on my teeth. I went back to my previous dentist and he looked at the X-rays and intra oral cam pics and couldn't figure out why he did any of this work. I then went to the endodontist to be sure. The endodontist did not think I needed a root canal, but to have that tooth resealed because it looked as though the filling was not sealed properly as I couldn't bite down. . I had my previous and now current dentist redo the filling on 14 and he said that the filling just literally fell out like it was never sealed. The tooth was never the same and I ended up needing to root canals on tooth number 14 and 15. And now I am having pain on tooth number 20 and that tooth never had a filling or anything wrong with it prior to Dr. Park doing my fillings . My daughter also had fillings done by him and has sensitivity and problems with the teeth that he worked on. Before I had the root canal, I called Dr. Park's office and asked that he refund my co-pays and refund delta dental as I was having the filling redone and he failed to do so. I really made a huge mistake going to this dentist and I have suffered tremendously. I am so disappointed I will never be going back to this Dentist and for anyone reading this review trust me and go elsewhere. I made a mistake trying to save money because my previous dentist is amazing and a perfectionist. I never had one thing go wrong in the last 10 years. Trying to save money ended up compromising my teeth and I'm devastated.
