FIRST OF ALL, I found this place on YELP! I took my mom here because her tooth broke and the dentures were holding in to that particular tooth. She's also got her dentures or partial done here... They were able to take hers in for an appointment within 3 days! We arrived at 10:25am for a 10:30am appointment and we were seen at 11:05am. It was a LONG WAIT time but, it was well worth the wait because Erica and Dr. Thanh took great care of my mom... Even from the moment you walk in. You will be granted nicely from the ladies at the FRONT DESK! They are working hard and non stop! I heard the phones ringing non stop and the ladies were able to handle everything PROFESSIONALLY without showing any signs of STRESS!! BRAVO!!! Also, everyone in the office appears to be so cheerful!! They must be taking lots of HAPPY PILLS or I hope they ask her promoted because they deserve it. I've been to so many dental offices from LA to SD and this one checks ALL boxes!! They also have STATE OF THE ART EQUIPMENT & TECHNOLOGY!!! The only good experiences I have had have been with dental staff from different offices who have come here to do procedures. I do not believe I have had a single procedure done here that has been fully covered by my insurance. This is what I presume to be an overcharging tactic so that they can line their own pockets. They constantly call and ask for you to reschedule to an earlier time and when you arrive at that earlier appointment you'll have to wait an exorbitant amount of time. Additionally, they will coerce you and your family to undergo expensive procedures that realistically do not make significant difference to your dental health. If I could give this office a 0 star rating I would, frankly I would urge any family reading this to choose elsewhere to get your dental health taken care of. read more

This place was a breath of fresh air. From the minute I walked into the door, until I left. The front office staff was courteous and helpful. Then my dentist greeted me. Grace Rowe, she was so sweet and gentle! I was already emotional and worried about my teeth and she was extremely thorough and listened to my concerns. Then there was Tracy. She was super sweet too! I had a root canal last September and was just confirmed by my new doctor I need to re-do my root canal because there is an infection that was never treated. I will NEVER go back to this office. For so long I have had to wear dentures. When I went into Temecula Dental Practice and met Dr. Fallon Livingston, and her associate Kat, I knew I was in good hands. For 20 years, my gum lines have receded. Dr. Livingston was able to fix that with the help of Kat she did just that two different surgeries, installing bone into my jaw line. It was quite a process, but they always made sure I was comfortable and in as less pain as possible. After my time with Dr. Livingston and Kat came my time with Dr. Joshua Walker. Dr. Walker, was gentle & always very professional when it came to my teeth. It's pretty amazing to feel like you're friends with your dentist. I've been a patient here for many years because my family established care here when I was a child and I didn't have any say in the matter. Let me just say, that picking this office for dental care was the worst decision my family has made to this day. It took the office at least 8 years to even spell my name for my patient profile correctly. Every time you walk through the door to check in, they want you to pay before you are even seen and you aren't able to see what you are being charged for! Their "computer system doesn't have that capability".... The capability to tell you, the patient, what you are being charged for, just the total. During my most recent visit, I was coerced into terminating my Invisalign treatment because the office found out I was going into the military. I was scheduled to finish my treatment a month before I planned to leave, I just needed a form stating so. To everyone's surprise but my own, the office found a way to make this as difficult for everyone involved that they could. Throughout my years of experience with them, I knew they would be difficult to work with on the matter. But Dr. Choi let her personal bias also interfere with my service to get my Invisalign attachments off. The attachments are in the center of your tooth but she managed to somehow poke me in the gums to the point of bleeding and pain in 6 different spots. Either this was on purpose, or Dr. Choi is not able to properly perform her dental duties and should not be allowed near other patients. All in all, save your family the time draining, and money gauging experience that comes from this office. You will be nothing short of disappointed and regretful. I know I am! read more

I had previously met someone who was a former dentist who told me they quit bc they were told they weren't selling enough procedures. I didn't realize this office was the office this person was talking about until AFTER I went here. ("They" is used to help protect the person's identity). I went to this office bc they accepted both my insurances. After they took extensive x-rays and photos, the very sweet and personable dentist, Dr. Le, examined my teeth. She said I needed one or two root canals, two crowns, as well as a crown replacement. I was then taken to a room where the office manager came in and told me the cost, depending on whether I wanted good, better or best quality crowns! It literally felt like I was at a car dealership and they were putting the squeeze on. So the best quality crown had a 5 year warranty and the good and better qualities didn't. Also, if I chose the best quality, they could make my crown and install it that day but the lessor quality ones had to be made at a lab and would take a week to two or so. They scheduled me for a root canal by a dentist that comes into their office only to do certain procedures. They billed my insurance and I paid $484.00 out of pocket the day of the root canal. They then told me that before I had the crowns put on, they scheduled me for another dentist, who visits their office only once a month or so, to see if I needed crown lengthening, an expensive and involved procedure. I asked them for a copy of my rays and they gave me xerox-like copies. I have a dear friend, who is a recently retired dentist in OC. I sent her the X-rays and she suggested we get together for lunch. We met for lunch and she brought latex gloves and examined my tooth as we sat at a rear table. She told me, there was no need for crown lengthening and explained there was definitely enough tooth to attach the crown to. I called and spoke with Dr. Le. I told her I didn't want to have crown lengthening and didn't want an unnecessary and costly procedure. She said they'd schedule me to come in and she'd check and make sure I had enough tooth to attach the crown to. Dr. Le checked my tooth and I was then fitted for crowns as they made a mold. The dental assistant put a temp crown on which broke the next day. I went in and they did another one. This happened three times as the temp kept breaking. I spoke with the office manager and told her that I felt like they acted like car sales people and I didn't like it. She tried to make me think they were just telling me my options. I finally went in and Dr. Le filed my tooth quite a bit and then put the permanent crown on. I saw that my insurance was billed several hundred dollars for that, which was never explained to me bc the treatment plan was the crown lengthening procedure. The day after the permanent crowns were put on, my tooth felt very sensitive to hot and cold. I was frustrated and did not want to return to this place as I personally felt like they cared more about money than the patient. About six months passed and I knew I needed to resolve the issue with my tooth being sensitive. I called the office and asked for my X-rays. The office told me they couldn't provide them to me or another dental practice because the office had their own formatting. I made an appointment with a different and highly recommended dentist, also in Temecula. I love him and his staff. I had X-rays redone and the doctor examined me. He showed me a picture of my crown and there is a big gap between the crown and my gum and the tooth underneath is exposed, which is why my tooth is sensitive! The crown is supposed to completely cover the tooth and it's not. Lucky for me, my husband's employer changed dental insurance plans in October so my husband's insurance will cover it. My new dentist doesn't offer three different crowns and guarantees it for five years. His price is the price of the cheapest one at Temecula Dental Practice. My recommendation is to stay far away from Temecula Dental Practice. There are local dentists that run far more ethical practices. read more

Horrible customer service at this establishment during my dental visit from the manager Andrea Goode. They told me I had to get two root canals done a while back so I got them done and now my retainers do not fit. I asked to get them fitted and they want to charge me $350 for a whole new set. They took imprints of my teeth before the root canal so they should have been the same. But however they are not and they want me to pay out of pocket so they will fit. Just ridiculous! Also supposedly had a balance on my account from 3 years ago which I never got any notices about and got sent to collections. Had been told numerous different things by the front desk and was told that it would be most likely covered by the establishment. NOPE! They didn't even do anything to help me, when this easily could have been paid off years ago. If you want a dentist office ran by a horrible manager that isn't willing to help you, charge ridiculous prices, and the manager will treat you like they are better than you then this is the dentist for you! Really sucks for this dentist office because my dentist, Mustafa Alshabeeb and the rest of the staff is actually so wonderful and hate to leave knowing they take good care of their patients but for the manager I hope she gets replaced! read more

If you want to pay for a bunch of unnecessary work, this is definitely the place to go. They insisted my wife needed a crown--no other options, about $1200 out of pocket after insurance. Got a second opinion with our old dentist. He said that was unnecessary and replacing the filling ($300 without insurance) was all that was needed. I had a crown fall out, needing a dental implant. This place told me I needed an interim partial and I didn't know to question them. Turns out that was completely unnecessary, as the missing crown isn't even visible when I smile and the partial is almost entirely cosmetic. Again, zero discussion as to whether it was an option, just presented as a required part of the dental implant process. I paid $336 and never used it. Went to my old dentist and he explained it was optional and mostly cosmetic. Wait, there's more! They told me I needed a deep cleaning--scaling and planing--about $1100 out of pocket after insurance. Went to my old dentist and paid about $100 cash no insurance for the regular cleaning he said was entirely sufficient. I had been with this dentist for 10 years before my insurance caused me to switch. read more

I was so scared I almost canceled the appointment, Dr Livingston was AMAZING her bedside manner was above excellent and the tooth she removed the back tooth and did not realize it was out until she told me. She contacted me the following day to see how I was feeling now I must tell you folks I am 57 years old and have gone to many many dentist I have never been to one that was so caring and gentle. I would give 0 stars if possible. If you have Delta Dental DMO insurance be very careful if you are obtaining service from this dental office. My wife went to get a checkup and was informed that she had a cavity and needed a crown. Instead of informing her that a crown made porcelain/ ceramic which is covered by Delta DMO for $405, they pressured her into buying their in-house Cerecfired crown for $1,305.00, never informing her of the insurance covered option. It amazes me that a business can get away with such shady practices. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. I have been going here for about a year. I make sure that every 6 months I get my cleaning done and get an exam. I have not had any issues with my teeth. Every time I go they say my teeth look good, just try and floss more. I just recently went in April for my usual cleaning. When I go in I always get my X-rays done. Then the hygienist does the cleaning and after the dentist comes in for the exam. This time, I got my X-rays and then the dentist came in and did the exam. Strange he came in before the hygienists. He said my gums were in very bad shape, my gums are receding and I have bone loss. This was very unexpected as nothing has changed with my dental regime. He recommended a 3k procedure! Again, I work hard to keep my teeth healthy, so it was very unexpected. Then the receptionist said she wanted to schedule me for the following week to get the procedure done and they were not going to clean my teeth today. What? That's why I was there. She said there was no hygienist available to clean my teeth. But that's the appointment I had scheduled, it made no sense. It seemed strange to me, so I went to a different dentist to get a second opinion. The dentist I went to was very familiar with Temecula Dental Practice, as he use to work there and said they're known for prescribing procedures that are not needed so they can get more money. He said my teeth and gums look good and I didn't need the procedure Temecula Dental Practice said I needed. I will never return here and I'd highly recommend going somewhere else. It makes me very upset to think that a dental practice is taking advantage of patients and charging them thousands of dollars for their own gain. I know these types of things happen in the medical field, but it should be considered malpractice and it needs to be investigated. First time coming here after changing insurances and moving out of LA. Not going to lie, I am a terrible patient for any doctor to handle. I am not good with needles and poking, I swear and jerk around when uncomfortable, I have trust issues; the works. But this office passed with flying colors! Everyone, from the front desk staff members, to the X-ray technician, to the cleaning technician, to the dentist himself, showed the highest level of skill, friendliness, enthusiasm and patience. I felt taken care of from start to finish and am more than pleased with the provided services as well as the suggested future care plan. Also, as a cancer patient, I would like to applaud the efforts the office is taking to do their part regarding COVID guidelines. All staff members were wearing masks at all times, there were stickers on the floor to show the 6ft apart while standing in line, and they would ask people to wait outside if no exam room was immediately available.
