Manicure with gel polish less than a week later- chipping and peeling off :(
    Krista L.

The salon is a bit rundown and the ladies are not exceptionally friendly but it's across the street from my work so as long as they do a good job, I'm fine with that. I paid $72 (not including tip) for a mini pedicure and mini manicure with gel polish on both. This was my first time. I knew from others recommendations that gel polish should last about 3 weeks. I asked the lady who was doing my nails and she claimed the gel polish would last 2 months... I was happy with my pedicure. She took her time and and my toes looked great when I walked out and still look great about 2 weeks later. When she started on my manicure (approx. 5:45, they close at 7), she seemed to start rushing. My fingernails were uneven and the gel polish did not go all the way to the edges which I assume is why they are lifting, chipping, and peeling less than a week later (pic included) I will not return.

Paint left all over my toes -_- Time to go home and clean them myself

Took my two friends here for one of their birthdays. The ladies kept laughing and glaring and snarling. It made us uncomfortable. One of the ladies was very rough. One lady also cut my friends nails very short then missed spots when painting them. When my friend mentioned the spots where there was paint missing, the lady blamed the shape of my friends nails (the nail lady just shaped her nails so it would have been her fault, not my friends fault). They kept making us feel rushed and uncomfortable. Not a place to go to when you want to relax and feel good. Plus the lady left paint all over my toes. See attached pictures for detail. We also were asked if we wanted gel. We all answered no thank you. They mentioned that our nails will chip within 5 days. We said ok. Then they mentioned it at least 3 more times that our normal nails will chip more since we decided not to get gel. Like I know what gel is and I don't want it. I also don't want to be harassed about it. Let it go. I'm not getting gel.

My favorite nails! Thanks Lani (:

I love this nail salon! They do the best nails in Roseville hands down! Lani can do practically any design you want. Even if you aren't sure what you want she gives you great creative ideas. When I moved to Rocklin I tried numerous nail salons and I never found one that I loved the service, work, and customer service until I came to Picasso Nails! I love the way Lani does my nails, they look perfect every time I leave. I would highly recommend anyone try Picasso Nails, you'll never go anywhere else!

Lani is the most kind and thoughtful person I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know, it is only a perk that she does the best nails I have ever had. She has the best selection of gel polish, regular polish and dip, along with about any gem, jewel, sticker, or bow you could think of. I will forever be a customer/ friend to Picasso nail and spa. 7years strong!

I was in the area with spare time so I figured I'd try this place. I'm not super picky with my nails but I really love them! I got acrylic with gel polish. The shop may not have the newest stuff but it's still a good place! The girl that did my nails was fast but still did amazing! I didn't get her name unfortunately. She looked much younger compared to the other employees there. I'd come back if I was in the area! Thank you!!

I like my nails. I think where they could improve is being a little more friendly in general. I felt rushed and shifted between people with no communication.

This place is horrific! I'm going to post pictures showing their terrible work! I was so blown away at how obviously crooked and uneven my nails were. They looked at them like nothing was wrong. I was speechless! The 1st girl glued on the nails and cut them crooked lol and then switched with the other lady. They kept pushing gel nail polish on me. 1st off why would I spend more money on a better nail polish when my nails are disgusting. Makes no sense. Anyways I would not recommend this place. They were in a hurry for no reason. I have nothing good to say.

    Great location!

Bravo! Bravo! Called and made a late afternoon weekend mani-pedi appt for 2 and all went like clockwork. Our tummies were full from sushi lunch prior @ Blue Nami and we were ready for a little pampering. This is a great area.. many amenities to partake in (massage, coffee, restaurants...) ++ Upon arriving, greeted with a smile and were quickly seated for a luxurious hour and a half ++ The team all works well together, very personal and pretty frickin funny... I was insulted (ok questioned) on my nail painting skills (which are terrible n so true) and we all laughed and the fun and pampering continued. Very professional and would definitely go again!

Pink and White Acrylic by Lani. Gorgeous!

I was looking for a new local acrylic nail place. I was aware of where Picasso was, but never went in. Lani was able to take a same day appontment. The salon was clean and well kept, the staff was friendly, and I can honestly say they go above and beyond for their customers. The day I was there, Lani had made accomodations for two girls and their birthdays, as planned out by one of their boyfriends in advance. I came in looking for a new, regular nail spot. I had free from acryliccs on from another place that I could not stand. Lani took one look at them and vowed to give me new pretty ones... I was absolutely in love with her work! If you're looking for a new place in Roseville, give this location a shot!

I spent almost two months looking at the Serenity Spa website and picking out exactly the services I wanted. I was GIDDY! I landed on the Indian Head Therapy, a facial, and then a chakra balancing massage, which a lunch in between. The facial and massage were both great. I would go back for each of those individually, for sure. The chakra balancing massage, in particular, was DELIGHTFUL. The Indian Head Therapy was so bizarre and not at all what I hoped for. It felt like the person who was supposed to do this treatment canceled at the last minute and they asked the esthetician if she could fill in. She started with my hands which immediately confused me because it's supposed to be head, neck and shoulders focused. It was super disappointing and I LOVE any and all head massages, but even when she got to my head, she was barely massaging it - I don't know how to describe it, but would not recommend. The layout of this spa makes the spa day not super ideal. In your robe, you have to traipse through the store front of the lobby, holding this super awkward basket full of all your belongings. I just felt so exposed and vulnerable naked in a robe, walking through a store! Lunch was $40. When I saw this on the website, I thought "oh! fancy lunch with some champagne! LOVE THIS!" and I was so excited. Now, I will say, I should have asked for details and I didn't, but lunch was a choice of salads or sandwiches, an iced tea and a Costco chocolate chip cookie. I would have said that $12 was a reasonable price for this meal. $20 would be a stretch. $40 was absolutely ridiculous. Like in ZERO worlds was that a $40 meal. The sandwich was a pesto chicken sandwich and it was tasty, but honestly, I was so confused by the price and the menu that I was distracted by that. Another thing to mention is the general vibe of the spa. I can't think of any other way to say this, so here goes: It feels as if everyone that works there is nervous about getting in trouble from someone and then they just panic snip at each other to try to prevent people from getting in trouble. The vibe is that everyone is on edge, nervous, cranky, worried. Especially the people at the front desk were overly friendly but then kinda snipping at each other or at the people providing the services and then rolling their eyes at each other. It was a really odd vibe. So, all in all, I might go back for a single massage or facial, but I wouldn't choose this for a spa day. Things that would greatly improve this place: 1. Lockers or a place to store things that doesn't involve awkwardly carrying a basket. 2. Some sort of passageway that does not involve walking naked through the lobby to your next service. 3. Some sort of meal improvement - either a glass of champagne and a lunch upgrade or a SIGNIFICANT price decrease. Also the Costco cookie was so insulting - even a slightly fancier dessert might have taken the edge of the price off... 4. A more pleasant vibe - it wasn't at all how people talked to me, it was how they spoke to each other. It was stressful to hear people clearly upset with each other. And it wasn't just 1-2 people - it was how everyone interacted with one another. Weird.

I arrived approximately 5 minutes late for my appointment (11:20 a.m. for an 11:15 a.m. appointment) and had already communicated beforehand that I would be arriving at 11:18 a.m. I understand that late arrivals can affect appointment times, but what was never communicated was that this would result in losing treatment time or that choosing to reschedule to receive the full service would result in an $40 cancellation fee. Instead of clearly explaining the policy and giving me all the information upfront, I was told after the fact that the fee would be applied. I was charged $40 unfairly for a gift appointment from my friend, who is a weekly client at this establishment. After this experience, I have already encouraged her to take her business elsewhere. The massage therapist also did not provide a welcoming experience upon arrival. Rather than greeting me professionally and warmly, the interaction immediately felt as though I was an inconvenience and that the shortened appointment was being emphasized instead of trying to provide a positive client experience. Policies are one thing, but communication and customer service matter. Unfortunately, this establishment failed in both areas.

I've been a loyal client of Rejuven8 Wellness Spa since June, spending over $1,300 on regular massages and always showing up early, respectful, and appreciative. Unfortunately, my experience on 10/28/25 was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. I arrived early for my scheduled appointment and even brought a belated birthday gift for the owner, Kaera Anazalone. I explained that I had recently recovered from an illness, was cleared by my doctor, and had tested negative for COVID and flu more than a week earlier. Despite being transparent and cleared as non-contagious, I was treated with visible discomfort and suspicion. Kaera informed me that the session couldn't continue unless I agreed to conditions that made me feel uncomfortable in what is supposed to be a relaxing, safe environment. She even stated that she would "just get it over with because [she] needed the money," which was incredibly unprofessional. When I said I was no longer comfortable proceeding, I was denied a refund or credit for my prepaid $139 session, even though no service was provided. I tried to resolve the matter calmly and respectfully, but was met with rudeness, manipulation, and eventually told I was no longer welcome as a client. For a wellness business, this was shocking behavior. I have since filed disputes with my credit card company, the BBB, and the California Massage Therapy Council. I'm sharing this review to make others aware of how this spa treats loyal clients and how poorly it handles customer care and ethics. Additionally, for a business that claims to be a "wellness spa," having a dog in treatment rooms shedding hair is extremely unsanitary and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.
