Note: even on Monday they were very busy so this might just be a reservation only type of place. My mother in law got a regular polish pedicure and I got a full set of Gel-X nail extensions as well as a gel pedicure. I asked for a nail design (polka dots on cat eye) and showed them a reference photo and they did an amazing job! We left super happy with the quality of service and the cuteness of our nails. One extra star simply because I never received a service so cannot write a full review. I called ahead to see if they had walk in availability-they said that they did and asked me how far away I was I said 10 mins and they told me to come on in. Realized I was further than I thought I was and called back to make sure that they could take me in 20 mins vs 10 and they said ok. The lady on the phone did not sound friendly. I thought it was strange but did not think much of it. There was no warm welcome when I came in the same lady I assumed was on the phone just pointed at the screen and said "sign in", asked me which manicure service I wanted I said "the shortest one because I have to go". She said "you will be at station 2" and turned away, walking quickly. I followed her assuming, she was taking me to the station. No she was just walking away. How am I supposed to know how you number your stations? Hot day today and I was thirsty- other customer had drinks. I asked if they had any drinks, like water or such. The lady said "ya" and walked away, did not give me options and came back with a mini water. Ok. Whatever. I'm sitting there waiting for 10 mins 20 mins, assuming my appointment will start at any time now, mind you I was never updated regarding what was happening with the wait time. I finally asked and was told it would be another 10-15 mins! Why would you not tell me that on the phone? Or when I came in? Or when I told you that I was looking for the shortest service possible? I understand a walk in is a walk in but at least explain to your customers what is going on instead of making them sit there thirsty and wonder. This woman had no warmth, every time I asked her something I felt like she was annoyed. On top of that, there was nail dust at the station I was sitting in very obvious spots. I read through some previous reviews regarding people getting infections after services at this salon.The lady who was going to be doing my nails did not seem anywhere near done with the previous client. I used to love this salon until my nail tech left to go to Vietnam and eventually was told she actually left & opened up the Vietnamese restaurant next-door. I do want to share that Sandy does a really good job with nails. My issue with Lavish Nail Salon is that they charge you for every little thing (and my first nail tech did not do that) and they are not consistent. Sometimes they charge you and sometimes they don't. I got a pedicure and an acrylic gel fill on my hands. They charged me extra for "long nails" and extra for the "shape" being square round. My nails are not long and they are not a special shape. I keep them straight across with curved edges "square round" as they call it. I'm attaching a picture of my nails here for reference of how long I keep my nails each time I go in. I did have a design on my ring fingers. The total for the pedicure and the fill with gel and a design was $170- never ever have I been charged that much for a pedicure and a fill. Typically a gel pedicure and gel fill is approximately $50-$60 each. I am attaching a picture that will show you that I paid various rates with them and it was never consistent. I only had a design one time and that was at the end of January for Valentine's Day. $170 for a fill and a pedicure is excessive and they lost me as a repeat customer. read more

The service is always good however the shape and length of the nails were not as expected. Every nail is of different shape and one nail was cut really short. I can't say enough of Sandy and her talents. I came to lavish nails as I needed a very skilled nail tech who could do precise lettering. Sandy was highly recommended and she did not disappoint. I came in because my dad passed away and I wanted to get nails that honored him (he used to love rating my nails so I knew I needed the ultimate cool nails for him). Sandy was extremely compassionate and took her time to ensure the lettering was perfection--I brought in an inspo pic that she was able to match exactly (see photo here on yelp). Called in to schedule a pedicure and they answered the phone immediately. The person I spoke to on the phone was easy to understand, took my phone number and name, and was able to fit me in same day. I came in and was greeted to confirm my check in. I did have to wait a few minutes to be seated, but given that it was Mother's Day, they were understandably very busy. I looked over the menu and settled on the Pamper Me Pedicure ($45 at time of visit, plus $15 for gel). I definitely felt so pampered! Sandy was the one to do my pedicure and she was so sweet and friendly. She checked in with me multiple times to ensure I was comfortable, that I liked the shape of my nails, and made sure I liked the color I chose. She was very detail oriented and worked carefully. The pedicure itself felt very careful and detailed and the massage was perfect. I am so happy to find a salon that finally delivers on an affordable and overall great experience for a pedicure! They don't use that generic multi-pack a lot of other salons use, and the green tea scrub and lotion was such a pleasant and refreshing scent. I appreciated that they had music videos playing on the tv, it was such a chill and fun vibe, I felt like I could easily relax and enjoy watching and listening. This was a one and done and being disappointed does not adequately cover it. Went in for a simple pedicure. The gal was pretty rough from the start; used the drill sander to take off old polish even though it was regular polish and scraped my skin with it. Then cut way down between the nail and skin on my big toe. Started to bleed and actually wouldn't stop. Then cut me again on another toe. I told the owner when paying and he just said sorry I'll let her know. I told him she knew because the one wouldn't stop bleeding which worried her. I didn't expect to not be charged, but there was nothing like a small discount either this time or for next service. Guess they have enough customers and don't need me. read more

Love this newer salon! One of the few places in the area that does builder gel, it's always clean and nice music. Henry does a great job, and I love that I can book online and it lists all the prices out. Super user friendly and convenient, and well priced. I had just gotten my nails done when they had their grand opening promotion so i missed out in the goodies The salon is very clean and chic right when you walk in. I made an appointment through their online scheduling and surprised they had a touch screen at the front desk where you check in and confirm your appointment. The staff were warm and welcoming and so cute that they have their own branded uniforms. The decor was simple and not too over the top, the nail color wall was aesthetically pleasing to look at. I usually never leave reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one; and not in a good way. This used to be my go-to nail salon when they first opened in West Roseville. I was excited to have a salon in the neighborhood that provided great service, but unfortunately, that is no longer the case. The service has become absolutely terrible. They hang up on customers over the phone, and during a single pedicure I've had two or three different technicians work on me, which feels disorganized and unprofessional. On top of that, staff members have been rude and have talked back to customers instead of addressing concerns respectfully. I was there today and overheard a technician threatening a customer. The technician was completely out of line and falsely claimed to be a manager. The customer remained calm and did not deserve that kind of treatment. To make matters worse, the technician was cursing under her breath and behaving in an extremely unprofessional manner. Watching that interaction alone was enough to make me question whether I ever wanted to return. I've also heard similar complaints from other women in the neighborhood. Ever since the owner left or stepped away, the quality of service seems to have completely fallen apart. What was once a 10/10 experience has become a 0/10. This salon has completely lost sight of what customer service is supposed to be. There are plenty of other businesses in the area that value their clients and treat them with respect. I genuinely would not recommend this place to anyone and will never be returning. read more

When I nicely asked if she could redo them, she said it would be an extra $25, even though that isn't their pricing. I asked for a manager, and she claimed she was one. (this was also a fill which means minimal product was used) She then threatened to call the cops on me. I was really wanting and hoping this place was gonna be a good place. I don't know if it was because my friend and I were their last customers but we both came in for a gel mani/pedi and not even a full week, both of our manicures were already peeling. I got a matte top coat that was peeling within 5 days and my girlfriend upgraded to chrome and she said her nails were already peeling within 4!! At least our pedicures were ok. I've gone twice now and both times left disappointed. I had Ryan the 1st time and he left every nail a different shape. I came back 2 weeks later and asked for anyone but Ryan, thinking the issue was with him. This time Sam did my nails and another woman did my pedicure. My toes are uneven, and my hands lost over 1/8" of length because Sam didn't understand what shape I wanted. Also there's nothing I dislike more than having my nails done in the pedicure chair. They offered no discount because the owner is in Vietnam and no one was authorized to do anything, so their response below is a lie. As you can see the nails are bumpy, the tech didn't even smooth the dip or trim away from cuticles. I went in 2 weeks ago with nails that looked like the last picture, and asked for them to be made into office shaped, I left that day with a mix of coffin, almond and square round. I showed Sam which nail I wanted to match and as you can see, I ended up with sport short. I told Sam multiple times during today's session that I was not happy with what he was doing, but once she had taken so much off my natural nail there was nothing I could do about it. I couldn't even see what was happening with my toes since there was a lap pad blocking my view so that Sam could do my nails. As soon as I saw how bad they looked I told the tech. There was nothing anyone could do to fix anything as the issue was the nails were too short and uneven. Why would I want to make other nails too short to even them up. The whole group is dishonest as per their in salon actions and responses and it's the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I won't be back.
