We ordered Margherita pizzas. Unfortunately the pizza in the picture was nothing like what was delivered or described or an actual Margherita pizza. We received two pizzas with no marinara or sauce, only garlic covered in mozzarella, followed by sliced tomatoes, dollops of ricotta and basil leaves. The pizza was tasteless other than the garlic. My room mate literally stated that she could eat the cardboard box and it would have more flavor. As an Italian, this is truly disappointing and I can not recommend this. read more

I ordered here on the Yelp app. Cheese sticks, fried mushrooms, and shrimp Alfredo. I went back and waited 10 minutes in my car. I went back in and it was all put together waiting for me on the counter! I immediately dig in to find 3 lukewarm containers and 2 pieces of ice cold bread tossed in the sack. I paid an extra $.75 for EXTRA garlic bread. I assume the one palm sized piece was supposed to be one serving? Cheese sticks and mushrooms were clearly frozen. They were almost cool to the touch and the mushrooms were slimy. I've made a lot better in my air fryer at home for half the price. I open up the shrimp Alfredo and nearly dump it in my lap. The flimsy container was 3/4 full of extremely runny, flavorless sauce. The noodles were definitely not cooked that day. Oh and there's nothing I love more than having to pull tails off of shrimp that are currently drowning in watered down Alfredo. I live in Oak Forest, and was tired of all of the pizza delivery places available , then we found Picatta's. I love the salad. The pizza is a little doughy, but toppings are quality, and even with pepperoni and Italian sausage, there was no oil on top, and it's not too salty. Some days, when I order through the Slice app, I get the order on time or earlier. But more often than not, the order is always late. And not by 5 min but by 30 min or more (I ordered at 8pm tonight and still have not received my order at 938pm). This is really great food. We're new to the neighborhood and looking for a few 'regular' spots to order from when we don't feel like cooking. The first time we ordered delivery - although it took a full hour - the food was good. The pepperoni roll was much better than anticipated. The mozzeralla sticks? Freshly fried, and even better, the marinara dipping sauce had meat in it! Delicious. The second time we ordered? Waited over an hour, and when we called to follow up? No answer. We called for a solid 20 minutes. We called Grubhub. They called and couldn't get anyone. We made the executive decision to keep trying, but also to see if we could drive up and just pick up our food. After still not getting anyone on the phone, we cancelled with Grubhub. As we pull into the parking lot @ Picatta - we see one lonely dude back there working, and he's on the phone. So, obviously the phone works, and he answers as we park. He's rude. Condescending. A little pissy that we cancelled our order, but at this point, it's been over an hour and a half. If you can't be bothered to answer calls, how can we know what's going on? Funny thing is - when we get back to the house, the delivery driver is there trying to deliver. We let him know that we've cancelled and sent him on his way. Food is good. Check your pizza before leaving. I ordered a xlg pizza, cook extra and checked the box for extra garlic bread. I learned from the last two times to check before leaving. The pizza was baked way less than what I would consider to be cooked "normally" and no garlic bread again. The person at the front said that that's what it should look like "cooked extra" and that I didn't ask for garlic bread. The manager did look at the order and agreed that I did request garlic bread and did put the pizza back in to go a bit longer. Here's the deal, I shouldn't have to examine my pizza to insure it's cooked to my request and argue about the garlic bread. We make it a point not to order from Domino's or Little Caesars and support locally owned businesses. I not only paid for the Support Local Business fee, but added a 15% tip on a pizza I picked up. I placed three different orders as I stated on the phone I had two order that were are paying with cash. Gluten free pizza is harder to come by than others, but this place is close and we didn't feel like getting out in the rain. We ordered this 12" pie and another medium Hawiian pizza for delivery. Decided to do an update on this place. I decided I would try my go to toppings on their hand tossed thin crust. My go to toppings are Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, bacon and red onions. I also asked for the pizza to be cooked well done for extra crispness since it was going to be thin crust. They give you this option when you order. What a disappointment. The thin crust was not all that thin. The crust was kind of spongy and soft. Not terrible, but not a good thin crust pizza. The pizza had no flakiness or crispy crust, so it seems that they didn't bother with cooking it well done like I requested. The toppings and sauce were good like the last time, but overall the pizza was mediocre. I ordered this to go for pick up. I noticed when I walked in that the staff and owner were not the friendliest people I've ever met. They kind of acted like they were doing me a favor. First time ordering from this spot and it was awesome. We ordered a hand tossed Hawaiian pizza, a hand tossed mushroom/beef/pepperoni pizza, ham and cheese sub, cheese bread, and hot wings. Pizzas: lots of toppings, sauce was neither too heavy not too light. The Hawaiian pizza has extra cheese by default and they mean it when they say extra! Crust was average but had good flavor and texture overall. Came with parm and red pepper packets. Wings: they're big and saucy, comes with one ranch. Ham and cheese sub: standard pizzeria fare, nothing fancy. Good amount of melty cheese and I appreciate that it wasn't a sloppy mess. Comes with plain chips. Cheese bread: ugh so good. They had just the right amount of garlic seasoning and a nice later of mozzarella. Note that they're not puffy like bread sticks so don't order if that's what you're looking for. Then decided to leave us the wrong pizza for the error and I asked for a refund because of all of these errors. They decided to refund my card and make the right pizza to deliver to us. Well once I took a bite of this wrong pizza I was disgusted. The damn thing tastes like government cheese (WIC), the tomato sauce wasn't real Italian marinara and tasted different, the topping weren't good and the dough was not cooked crispy. Tried to find this place but they weren't where Google Map showed them so I came home and ordered delivery. Turned out they only have a temporary canvas sign that is really hard to see or read. The delivery was great and there wasn't any extra charge for delivery service. I ordered a Muffaleta and it was very tasty but could have used more of their sauce. I added some Mayo and it was great with a very tasty bun. Also ordered the canola for my son and real glad we didn't order the large. The medium was so big it could have fed three people. He said it was good but there was too much cheese in the middle and too little around the sides but tasty none the less.
