What a great stop! Our family of 4 - 2 kids under 11 enjoyed the amosphere and food! With only just over 20 seats, this place was a little hard to get to around 1:00 p.m. on a weekday afternoon. You put our name in and walked around the multiple art galleries enjoying the scenery. After about 20 minutes, we were happily seated. We Dove right in to blood orange soda, lemon soda, the elderberry Spritz and a glass of White wine. The kids did a margarita pizza with pepperoni, I had the mortadella sandwich, more like a piada with pizza oven toasted bread. My spouse ordered the Rossi which had a compilation of several meats cheese and a lemony dressing topping of arugula. Both sandwiches serned with a handful of crispy potato chips. Everything was lovely. Service was fantastic. A server recommended the last two of the cookies. They offered the pistachio and the chocolate, glad they did because several people came in after asking about the cookies and they continually mentioned they were sold out. The weather was lovely atmosphere. Great. We really enjoyed our time there. Would be back again when in avl!

On a recent visit to Asheville we made a stop into Piccolina for lunch and it didn't disappoint! We ordered the sandwich with prosciutto and added the Calabrian chili paste to it! We also got an order of the fried dough for dessert! 10/10 experience! And sitting in at the open window was so cool!

    Pistachio cookie. So good!!

The restaurant is cozy, cute and friendly. The food is phenomenal. Stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We got seated at the bar type seating at the window. So pleasant with the window open. Ordered two sandwiches- the mortadella and the rossi. I lived the mortadella- bread was fresh, sandwich was delicious and interesting. Arugula, pistachio, lemon vinaigrette and mortadella. Loved it! I saved half for dinner tomorrow. My husband loved his mortadella sandwich as well. Friendly, attentive service. We ordered a pistachio cookie to share- potentially the best cookie ever! Highly recommend. I really want to try the multi course wine dinner. Can't wait to go back. I don't think I can stress how much I liked this place!!

Piccolina is a restaurant inside a collective art gallery, in the River Arts District. Their menu is small but everything is great. We've been there a couple times for lunch and have yet to try it for dinner. The space is airy and well lit with big windows facing Depot St. We shared the marguerita pizza with pepperoni and a sandwich both times. The mortadella sandwich is very tasty. They make their bread there. The pizza was delicious. Just the right flavors and the crust was perfect. We also shared a kale salad the second time we were there.. so good too. We didn't get dessert but got cookies to take home. They were also great. Service was attentive and friendly. While we were there, we saw a couple tables lingering long after the check arrived. And I didn't see or feel hurried by the staff at all. The restaurant is really small, so as a client, I would suggest being mindful of the time you hold a table, since that may allow the restaurant to serve more customers. They are doing a great job, and I am so glad to have that option at the RAD.

Piccolina, meaning "small one" in Italian, was named for the intimate and charming space in which it dwells. As I entered, semi-famished, I was greeted promptly and seated at a street-facing bar bathed in warm light and enlivened by the wondrous aromas taking flight from the nearby galley window. - Mind you, I consume kale only because I feel obliged to do so. But if one must eat this glamour-challenged garden step-child, the salad here, garnished thoughtfully with pistachios and plump sultanas as well as rich Parmigiano Reggiano and a delightful roasted garlic crumb, can pay one's debt to healthy living in a most agreeable way. - The pillowy moz and crispy-chewy crust of my margherita pizza were on point. But the standout was the sauce. This sauce, oh my. You could frolic among the vines in San Marzano, the blunted cone of Mt. Vesuvius in the distance, a zephyr from the Sea of Naples whispering through your hair, and you could pick a sun-ripened, ruby-red tomato from one of those vines, and take a lusty bite of it, and the taste would be no fresher, no more vibrant, than the flavor of this sauce. - Piccolina -- small space, big experience.

Piccolina was a delicious experience. From the bloood orange Sicilian soda to the suppli rice balls with melty hand-pulled mozzarella to the delicious house made bread stuffed with mortadella. I absolutely would return for lunch and will check out their Sunday supper in the future. Be forewarned their space is tiny with tight seating so you may have to wait on a table.

Sandwiches are huge! My iced coffee drink was also amazing. The space is small, but mighty. We will definitely be doing takeout soon.

Knowledgeable, charming and just fun. He did not steer us wrong. If you do nothing else GET THE LEMON PIZZA. You will happy you did. Very happy. As a New Yorker it's hard to blow me away pizza wise. The chef at Luminosa nailed the crust. I haven't had pizza this good in a long minute. Best dirty martini Ive ever had. The gnocchi was creamy, rich and delicious. The Chef's Cut (Denver Steak) was raved about as was the pork chop and the rigatoni. True farm to table, working with local farms for most of their offerings. This is a must if you are visiting Asheville. Ask for Jamie, he will lead the way to an unforgettable meal.

The focaccia from…read morethe bread service was outstanding--the two-day fermentation gave it incredible flavor and texture. The Little Gem salad was a bit small, but the flavor was excellent. The tri-tip was cooked perfectly and was a real highlight, especially since you don't often find this cut of meat on the East Coast. We also loved the campanelle--it was absolutely delicious. Our dessert was served a little too frozen. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return for both Anni's excellent service and the delicious food. We also really enjoyed the classic décor, which added to the restaurant's welcoming atmosphere.

Wow. Wow. Wow. This was our first visit snd we were blown away by everything. The food, the energy,…read morethe beauty of the restaurant, the service, everything was stellar during our visit. After having visited Spain and experiencing tapas, our expectations were set high and Cúrate delivered on all levels. We ordered several plates to share, ordered a bubbly white wine and later a pitcher of Sangria and enjoyed the thoughtfulness of their progression of our meal. Every dish was thoughtful and tasty. The patatas bravas were better than some we had in Spain. The lamb skewers were the least favorite as they were slightly overcooked. I missed taking a picture of the mussels because we slopped that up so fast! Overall, I cannot wait to visit again, especially as they change their menu seasonally so new surprises would be amazing. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

I did my research for dinner restaurants before heading to Asheville- both via Yelp and by asking…read morefriends. And I was told don't skip Curate so it was the first reservation I booked. I booked it about a month ahead and had no trouble getting a reservation although it was quite busy for a Wednesday evening. And the restaurant itself is quite large! We started with sangria. It had been awhile since I had sangria and this reminded me i need to drink it more often- especially in the summer! Our waitress was Zoe who informed us she'll be moving near us in Chicago soon. She was great so happy to welcome her to our city! With Zoe and Yelp's help we decided on the following food: - Pan Con Tomate: didn't sound like anything special, but really good especially when topped with anchovy (as Zoe recommended) - Gilda: the anchovies we topped our pan con tamate - Pimientos De Piquillo Rellenos: fine, but probably my least favorite thing we ordered - Pulpo a La Gallega: loved, but i usually do when octopus is involved - lamb skewers: I was full by the time these came out, but too good not to eat And for dessert we went with the cheesecake which was so good! Overall, a great meal and I can see why so many people/yelpers recommended it!
