Friends were visiting in Asheville and we were looking for a new pizza place. We had about a 20-minute wait on a busy Sunday holiday weekend night. We ordered two jumbo pizzas for four hungry people and still took about half a pizza home. The Blue Mountain Salad was delicious and large enough for 2-3 people to share. Since moving to Asheville(we are closer to Weaverville) a month ago we have thoroughly enjoyed many meals at the Blue Mountain pizza. The pizza is the main attraction so tasty and fresh. They have gluten free options as well. However, I have been drawn to there amazing soups! The tomato bisque is divine and my overall favorite is the French onion soup. I usually will share the wedge salad (soooo good) with my husband and have the French onion soup. So if in Weaverville or close by don't miss this local gem. Worth the wait on an unexpectedly busy Tuesday night! Pizza was delicious and the service was top notch!!

We drove up to Weaverville just to go to Blue Mountain Pizza, and it did not disappoint! The staff was so warm and friendly, and the ambiance was fun and cozy. We ordered the garlic rolls and make-your-own pizza. The garlic rolls were huge! They were good with the tomato sauce. We ended up taking some back home with us, and they were still soft upon reheating. We ordered a medium cheese pizza with olives, basil, and tomato. It was tasty. If anything, I was hoping for a bit more flavor from the cheese or sauce. The portion was good for two people. Because of the huge garlic rolls, we ended up taking two slices home with us. What made the experience special was the service. The waitress brought us two tiny scoops of their homemade ice cream that were complimentary, which was so sweet. The ice cream was delicious! I am compelled to share my recent dining experience. Upon local recommendations, we chose to visit this establishment. However, upon arrival with four out of five party members, we were informed that we couldn't be seated until the entire group had arrived, despite explaining that the fifth member was only there for drinks. We waited outside in the freezing temperatures until the fifth person had arrived. The dining area was cramped, with outdated and worn-out furniture. Each of the four dining party members ordered separately, and the meals arrived at considerable intervals. After dining, when we attempted to enjoy local ales and live music, our server informed us that we would need to leave if we weren't ordering additional food. It seems counterintuitive to offer drinks and entertainment if patrons can't indulge in them. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. read more

Service lasted 20 minutes and ambiance was pleasant. I got an Islander (consisting of bbq sauce, pulled pork, red onion, jalapeño and pineapple) on a GF crust (covered in black pepper) with vegan cheese. Despite the crust being a little soft, the pizza read well and tasted just as good. Multiple flavors were all occurring at once with a good balance of sweet and heat. The pineapple and bbq sauce aligned well with the jalapeño and the pork was moist. Overall, this is not half bad for being one of the only pizza joints in Weaverville. read more

We stopped here on our way back home to TN. The food was amazing and the people were even more amazing. We tried what we could the garlic knots are divine, Buffalo pizza perfection, my kids are obsessed with the cheese pizza now, we had a couple slices of the carnivore pizza (they are huge slices) it was so good. Then for desert we got some homemade ice cream all the flavors we tried were amazing (vanilla, chocolate, butter pecan, and banana pudding) our absolute favorite though was the butter pecan. As for the atmosphere not going to lie the live music was perfect since my kids are loud they weren't as noticeable and my son enjoys the gentleman playing his guitar. The place has such a home feel we loved it definitely coming back on our next trip to Asheville. read more

Blue Mountain Pizza was a treat...from the friendly staff to the hot out-of-the-oven pizza, if you are in Weaverville, it's a must stop. The interior is homey and bustling. We noticed they have live music almost every night as well. First off, the small salads are huge. We shared the blue mountain one with a delicious honey vinaigrette. We had the Parrot Head pizza which was pineapple, bacon, and ham. The crust is definitely hand tossed and the cheese had major pull. Blue Mountain Pizza was the first place we ate when we first visited Asheville, and as fate would have it, a couple years later we ended up moving to the Asheville suburb of Weaverville, where Blue Mountain Pizza is located. It's still one of our favorite places to eat and one of the top places to get pizza in all of the Asheville metro area. It's not fancy, in fact from the outside it looks almost like you're at some saloon from an old Western movie. Pretty much the same can be said for the interior. But the food is great and fairly priced and the staff are friendly and efficient. While I love their White Album pizza and their chicken alfredo pasta, recently I ordered a lunch special. It's a "slice" of pizza of your selection (2 topping base), where the slice is literally the size of most personal pizzas or larger. I had blackened chicken and artichoke hearts. Plenty of both on the pizza and it was fantastic. Their crust is exceptional. You also get soup or salad. I had the salad, which was good-size and super fresh, and their house honey lime vinaigrette is a great dressing. We also ordered a calzone (sausage and candied bacon). It was huge and very tasty. Their draft beer selections can be a bit limited (that's my one little complaint), but in all fairness, it is a small bar. We still managed to find a pale ale and chocolate stout that were both good. This is a locals hotspot so almost always busy, but I'd highly recommend it and it's well worth the wait. read more

I heard such great things about this place. We stumbled in on a Saturday night around 5:30 and grabbed a spot at the bar. Otherwise we probably would have to wait for a table. Had some wine and beer and started with the wedge salad. Super yummy with homemade dressing. We build our own pizza and it was wonderful. It came out fast and hot! We tried the black pepper and parm crust and it was a little too spicy bull for me but it my date loved it. There was some really great live music also. Kinda sounded like Johny cash. I stumbled upon Blue Mountain Pizza while looking for a place to get some lunch while in Weaverville as most places are currently open just for dinner. As it turned out, I was there on the first day of dining service. Everyone was extremely friendly when I walked in. I had the choice between outdoor dining or indoor. I chose to eat inside and check out the decor. I could tell that before the pandemic, live music and other events occurred there and the vibe that is was a popular establishment. The menu is large from pizzas to pastas to quesadillas to sandwiches to salads. I went with the Blue Mountain Salad. It was mixed greens; mandarin oranges; walnuts and gorgonzola cheese. It was as good as it sounds and they did not skimp on the toppings. The salad had plenty of cheese, oranges and walnuts. I also ordered a cheese pizza and it came with a lot of cheese on it. John and I spent the week looking up food places and always joked that pizza was highly popular in these small mountain towns- this particular spot was around the corner from our AirBnB and the local restaurants were just crazy busy every night! Including Blue Mountain Pizza. We finally tried them on our last night in town and it was delicious. We opted to split the lasagna plate that came with one garlic knot. It was so good! John was extra happy that the meat lasagna had meat sauce with hamburger, sausage and pepperoni! I enjoyed every cheesy bite. Service was stellar too and they were packed the night we went- we did snag an open table on the front porch and I was so happy the temperature had gone down in the evening and it was a lovely night.
