The ambiance met you at the door and the Hostess Sophia was so kind and accommodating.

What a great find! We heard about it from someone we met, and Bargello did not disappoint. Located off the lobby of the Hotel Arras. Incredible ambiance - clean and contemporary. The food was amazing! Sophia the hostess was so kind settling us in and our server Rachel was wonderful! We will definitely make time for Bargello the next time we are in Asheville.

We went to Bargello for dinner with a big group! Overall the experience was good with very nice staff and great atmosphere! Vegetarian food wise, it was alright. We tried the primavera pasta, torteletti, and the peach arugula pizza. They tasted fine, but not memorable or very flavorful. We really liked the watermelon feta salad and we also liked the tiramisu for dessert but overall I think everything could've used more flavor. Overall, nice place for ambiance and a nice dinner.

We been eating our butts off in Asheville and Bargello was yet another winner in town. The food and wine selection was great. The short rib pizza and fries were great. The Caeser salad was fab as well. The service was amazing to boot. Great location, great everything. And (cherry on top) Santa and Mrs. Claus were there tonight! #WINNING

My husband surprised me with reservations for our 16th wedding anniversary and I was SO impressed! We were greeted by the hostess and we were quite early for our reservation, but she got us in very quickly. Our server was fantastic. The food was beyond incredible. Some of the best we've ever had. But my favorite part was the elegance but not pretentious. It was so relaxed yet elevated. So great! We had an amazing experience and left full to the brim!

We stayed at Kipton for several nights over Christmas. We avoided the hotel restaurants and booked all James Beard ones. Ate breakfast here this morning before we drove back to ATL. Holy crap was it great! Spinach omelet with feta and caramelized onions!

Bargello was highly recommended and it did not disappoint!! Also, love the atmosphere. Located inside the Kimpton Hotel it has same chic trendy vibe that is downtown Asheville. The pizza was a delicious as we were told it was. It is a limited menu, but definitely worth indulging in one of the delicious choices. The service was spot on!

Located inside the old BB&T building, cute interior on first floor. Went at 6:00 on a Saturday night and we were one of three tables. As we were there for a while, it started to get busier. Went during restaurant week. Food was really good. Plan to go back and try the regular menu another time. There is a parking deck with AC Hotel across the street that is very convenient.

Bargello is located inside the Arras Hotel on the first floor. The restaurant got its name from the tapestries and upholstery that use Florentine needlepoint. The layout is really nice as it is an open concept and an open kitchen. I got the best table with a full view of the kitchen. The tall ceilings and all the windows let in a lot of natural light. They did a good job of spacing the tables out so it didn't get too loud. Matthew was my server and very friendly and made this a memorable meal. The menu has a Mediterranean flair to it. I started with the Grilled Spanish Octopus. I wasn't quite sure about the octopus as I had never had it before. But Bargello cooked it well and brought other flavors to compliment it. Then I had the bucatini cacio e pepe. Bargello makes the pasta in house. Originally I had planned to try a pizza as they have the hearth oven but I already had pizza that day so pasta it was. I liked that there was some space between the appetizer and the entree and that the entree didn't come out until I was finished with the appetizer. Even with the nice gap in between courses it was a lot of pasta so I left with some for another meal. I finished with the house made S'mores ice cream as I did need something sweet. They also had a cantaloupe sorbet that was tempting too but the chocolate won out that night. I will definitely dine at Bargello again.

Terrific little joint in the lobby of the Kimpton Arras. Mediterranean/Italian fare in an upscale space with an open kitchen and laidback Asheville vibes. Pizza was a high-end artisan/brick oven type of deal and really hit the spot. The Salmon Benny was a 10/10 elite brunch plate. Great service too! Highly recommended.

We came for a 7 pm reservation on a Saturday and it wasn't really busy. We enjoyed salmon salad, margherita pizza., broccolini, grits and salmon salad. Grits were really yummy and everything else was fine. Pasta is homemade. We also enjoyed a bottle of wine. Server was friendly. Interior was bright.

Knowledgeable, charming and just fun. He did not steer us wrong. If you do nothing else GET THE LEMON PIZZA. You will happy you did. Very happy. As a New Yorker it's hard to blow me away pizza wise. The chef at Luminosa nailed the crust. I haven't had pizza this good in a long minute. Best dirty martini Ive ever had. The gnocchi was creamy, rich and delicious. The Chef's Cut (Denver Steak) was raved about as was the pork chop and the rigatoni. True farm to table, working with local farms for most of their offerings. This is a must if you are visiting Asheville. Ask for Jamie, he will lead the way to an unforgettable meal.

The tri-tip was cooked perfectly and was a real highlight, especially since you don't often find this cut of meat on the East Coast. We also loved the campanelle--it was absolutely delicious. Our dessert was served a little too frozen. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return for both Anni's excellent service and the delicious food. We also really enjoyed the classic décor, which added to the restaurant's welcoming atmosphere.

Wow. Wow. Wow. This was our first visit snd we were blown away by everything. The food, the energy,…read morethe beauty of the restaurant, the service, everything was stellar during our visit. After having visited Spain and experiencing tapas, our expectations were set high and Cúrate delivered on all levels. We ordered several plates to share, ordered a bubbly white wine and later a pitcher of Sangria and enjoyed the thoughtfulness of their progression of our meal. Every dish was thoughtful and tasty. The patatas bravas were better than some we had in Spain. The lamb skewers were the least favorite as they were slightly overcooked. I missed taking a picture of the mussels because we slopped that up so fast! Overall, I cannot wait to visit again, especially as they change their menu seasonally so new surprises would be amazing. I booked it about a month ahead and had no trouble getting a reservation although it was quite busy for a Wednesday evening. And the restaurant itself is quite large! We started with sangria. It had been awhile since I had sangria and this reminded me i need to drink it more often- especially in the summer! Our waitress was Zoe who informed us she'll be moving near us in Chicago soon. She was great so happy to welcome her to our city! With Zoe and Yelp's help we decided on the following food: - Pan Con Tomate: didn't sound like anything special, but really good especially when topped with anchovy (as Zoe recommended) - Gilda: the anchovies we topped our pan con tamate - Pimientos De Piquillo Rellenos: fine, but probably my least favorite thing we ordered - Pulpo a La Gallega: loved, but i usually do when octopus is involved - lamb skewers: I was full by the time these came out, but too good not to eat And for dessert we went with the cheesecake which was so good! Overall, a great meal and I can see why so many people/yelpers recommended it!
