Truly disappointing. Had ordered pizza here before and liked it a lot. So thought I'd order for delivery an entree, Eggplant Parmesan. It was way too salty, and oregano was also too much and out of balance. Bread knots were stale, surely not baked today. Caesar salad was utterly rudimentary and not very good, like your 12 year daughter might make. Haven't yet tried the chocolate cake, but am now not eager to. My advice: stick with pizza. Tiny (four tables) and difficult to find parking as it's right on the street and there's construction behind - there are shared spots behind the building though. Decoration is spare, tables and chairs are bare metal. Drinks come from a cooler, but glasses and ice are provided. Very much a hole-in-the-wall feel. I ordered a special - a drink, two garlic rolls and a 10" pizza for $12.95. Quite worth it. The pizza had a thin, crunchy crust but was very tasty. I'm often annoyed by the tendency of cheese to slide off pizza but it was minimal on this one. The garlic rolls were absolutely delicious, and next time I visit I will order extra to go. They are another thing I don't always like due to grease, but these had just the right combination of crunch, garlic and Parmesan, small enough to eat in two or three bites. Sorry. I've ordered from here three or four times and I don't get any redeeming qualities at all. Just had a Philly Cheesesteak. Dried out steak, barely edible. French fries are were under a heat lamp for three hours. Just awful. When you hear someone complain about Yelp reviews, this is what they're referring to. I have been ordering from Piccolo for years and once they moved to the new location I lost contact with them. I recently placed an order for the family. Unfortunately it was a mess and very disappointing. I ordered through slice and they did work with Piccolo to compensate me on a few items. That was the right thing to do and appreciate it. The issue with the food was just not right. Items delivered should of never been sent and how can you hit and with items on the same order. Calzón was burnt on the top and raw in the middle and missing mushrooms. The large cheese pizza with half pepperoni was cooked perfect but came with all pepperonis and my nephews do not eat pepperoni. The medium size cheese pizza that was ordered well done was not well done and it was doughy in the middle. I did not complain about the Fettuccine Alfredo but it was bland and tasteless and the kids did not eat it. It's a shame that Olive Garden make a better Alfredo.
