TLDR: Asked for a plumbing inspection report but was ghosted and never received the report after multiple follow-ups We recently moved into a new house and had his company do a plumbing inspection. They spent a lot of time going through the house and taking notes. We were told they would send the report by end of day. After 2 weeks, multiple calls, and texts it never came. Each time we called we were told it's coming today but were given various excuses along the way "out of town for the weekend", "file got deleted and must be re-written", etc. Overall, really disappointed since it seemed like they were doing a thorough inspection, but what good is that if no report is ever shared? :/ read more

The guys showed up on time and with masks on. Very polite and seems to know what they are doing. They offered hydro jetting to unclog the landscape pipes. The owner and the supervisor he sent are very professional. Update: Francisco and Jose came back today on time and did the work. They were wearing masks and looks neat. They hydro jetted the Landscape pipes and they were able to take out the big cobra size roots that' were clogging the pipes. They are very polite and did not give up until the pipes cleared up. Even though they have other appointments after ours, they were not impatient at all and just willing to solve the issues and answered all the questions we had. He also explained to me some details of their analysis and he also sent his guys to fix some of the issues (not completely) they failed to address when I called him. However I feel it a bit unfair to the people if I blindly give good ratings without sharing all the problems I encountered. Overall, a couple of things that can be improved: First of all, the work could have done better in many ways 1. They did analysis and told me they would do three things: replace the t connection, check the clean the sprinklers, fix the garden control unit. But eventually they only worked on the t connection. 2. The glue was all over the place and the new valve they installed leaked for two days. (They did come again to fix after I noticed and called them) Second, could be more honest with the price. The final cost was 2x what we originally agreed on. read more

Discovered hot water heater sprang a huge leak while I was at work. Did a search on phone for emergency plumber near Mountain View. Luckily A2Z came up first. They arrived quickly even though it was still evening rush hour. Installed pipe detour around the broken heater so I at least had cold water for toilet etc. that night. They came back the next morning with a new heater, installed it although they had to take the heater closet door off to pull the old heater out and put new heater in. Hugely disappointing experience. Quick enough to come replace my water heater and charge top dollar for a sub-par AO Smith, but no response when it continually shut off and needed servicing. Plus, I never received any paperwork - invoice or manual - with warranty info. After 6-7 years of being ridiculously unreliable and needing relighting at least twice a year, it finally broke, but no one at A2Z would even return my calls. Ended up using another company to replace it with a more dependable brand and clean up the minor issues, like the gas line that was too thin and the wrong kind of earthquake straps. We had water leak behind a wall and were seeing water damage in the floor. Through Yelp I contacted four plumbers with good ratings. He called in a water abatement company and by mid-afternoon, we had damaged floor and walls removed and multiple fans going.
