    We wanted to sell our Lincoln SUV. Blue Book appraised it at two different prices. One was the…read moreprice we could expect from a car dealer. The other was the price we could expect, if we went to the trouble of advertising the vehicle for sale and sold it to an individual buyer. Of course the price for sale to dealers is lower, since they want to be able to mark it up and sell it to individuals. Blue Book also lists a price at which they themselves would be willing to buy the car. That price was approximately the dealer price. We then entered the information about the SUV on Carvana online. They said they would pay the price that Blue Book said we could get if we went to the trouble of advertising the vehicle for sale and sold it to an individual buyer. What could be better than that? The best price without the hassle. We chose the Carvana offer. The next day, one of their representatives came to our house, checked out the vehicle and paperwork, and bought the car by sending money directly to our bank account. I could not be happier.

    Let me start by saying it's a little unfair that the only review I get an email for is specifically…read morefor the Fayetteville, AR location only and not Carvana overall. So I'll say I'm sorry to the Fayetteville location....they are FIVE STAR. Their delivery service was fantastic. Even when they had to deal with the problems the online purchase service (wherever that is located) caused, the representatives from the Fayetteville location were FANTASTIC. Also....let me state that this is the SIXTH car I have purchased from Carvana, and ALL of the FIRST FIVE were FIVE STAR experiences. It is only this particular experience with the 10 or so representatives I dealt with at the online order call center trying to work out the situation they caused that has resulted in this 2 star rating. Lastly...let me state that the main issue that caused all of the headaches with this transaction was an issue between Carvana and my lender: my lender stating they deal with Carvana all the time and "this is the process we've always followed" and Carvana stating "that's not our process" but until the car was being delivered at my doorstep, no one at Carvana wanted to contact my lender and work out the situation. And this is my main issue and the reason for this two star rating. Over 5 days I spoke with AT LEAST 10 representatives on the phone. Of those 10, only two understood what my lender told me to tell the Carvana representative and both of them said "yes, that is our process and your deal should go through the process just fine." Seven others either had no idea or stated that wasn't the process and they needed information on my payoff of my trade...even though my trade was paid off. And then there was that one representative that argued with me for over 40 minutes that the deal could absolutely not continue until I provided a payoff amount for my trade. I told him the trade was paid off and I uploaded not one, but TWO different letters from my lender indicating this was the case. I will use Carvana again, but I will work harder on my end to make sure everything is in order before the delivery date. Once again....the Fayettevile, AR location is FIVE STAR. The loss of three stars has ALL to do with the call center handling the transaction prior to delivery. As far as the car goes....I LOVE my new car. Overall every purchase from Carvana has always left me happy and I have never had the "buyers remorse" feeling.
