Saw some random security guard hassle a kid cause he thought that the kid was stealing. Made a huge scene since the kid was scared and tried to run, even at the end of the encounter, he didn't steal anything. My advice for security: just because someone goes into a store and doesn't buy anything, doesn't mean they stole, you guys hassled a kid and thought it was ok. Security guards aren't warranted to touch a person unless absolutely necessary. There are other people I've seen ACTUALLY steal and got away with it, I feel bad for that poor kid. read more

If I could give this zero stars, I would. Tell me why I called to ask a simple question about bags and the man that answered the phone was rude and hung up on me. When I called back to tell him his phone skills are severely lacking he hung up again. Got hold of a manager and instead of addressing the situation he hung up as well. No one with such a complete lack of etiquette should be on the phones and if you can't handle customer complaints, you shouldn't be a manager either. The customer service here is trash. I'm disabled and don't usually come to this store because it's so big, the lights are so bright. I'll get a migraine easily here. I came here this time because I had two gift cards that were partially used. I wanted to query the balance of the cards. I walked past the store manager as they were walking about the store and asked for help. He said the only way was to go to a cash register for a balance inquiry. Now, let me paint you a picture. I am poor. I only came here to spend what I have on the gift cards and nothing more. Now, not knowing my balance I spent more time in the store than necessary. And the store has well over ten check out lanes but only one is staffed. Everyone is making a big line at the only check out open and the multiple self-check out lanes. The cashier was unsure how to check my balance. Gah. I spent all this extra energy walking around this big store looking for help and shopping under these horrible bright lights then waiting in line. No one there seemed to be interested in helping or able to help. Totes understaffed. Probably underpaid and burnt out. Unfortunately, I did get a migraine after this. Not worth it. read more

Very poor customer service! After shopping - only 1 lane open without the light on. After someone joined the line, the cashier said he was closing and walked away. This was at 10am on a Friday morning when many people were attempting to check out. Waited extremely long for assistance in the self check out when the machine continued to malfunction. Even though the staff member was nearby, he held up his hand that I would need to wait. Repeatedly... Many team members standing around talking to each other. This store was a nightmare on a Sunday evening. For being kind of crowded, it was way under staffed. One regular check out was open and 8 self-serve. I waited 20+ minutes in line to check out. Then my scanner didn't work on most of the produce, said unintelligible directions, periodically just called for assistant, refused to accept the assistant's code, and then failed to give a receipt. Some of the produce looked sketch and some of the packaged meats were past their sell-by dates. On the flip side, there were some interesting wooden trays at $40+ each -- just not what I go to a supermarket to find. In the end my 40-minute trip to Pick 'n Save saved nothing, because I had to follow up with a stop at another store to get what I came there to buy. read more

Of the many times I have shopped at this store over the last 25+ years, this has to have been the worst experience. There were no shopping carts in the parking lot so I wrongly assumed the carts were inside. None to be found. I went back outside and had to get one someone had just returned. When I brought this up to the staff, they said "people keep stealing them and we're not going to replace them". Are you kidding me? This is an accessibility issue. Multiple items were out of stock, that is nothing new. I noticed significantly increased prices in dairy, pork, and bread; all items reported in the news to not be increasing in price. When I went to check out, there were lines at least 10 to 15 people long in the two open checkouts that were staffed, and there was only one self check out open, with 25 people waiting. To add insult to injury I was too efficient with my coupon clipping and the register signified that I had over 20 items on discount and would not continue checking me out until a staff person came to override the system. Good Grief! For a store that continually is shortstaffed, it is insulting to then increase prices and decrease services. I will be driving farther out of my neighborhood to get better service. read more

The cashiers at this particular Pick 'n Save 80% of the time are content to push your groceries down the conveyor belt, thinking their job is done and just stand there only to collect your money. I stand in line because this is supposed to be a full service function register otherwise I would have gone to Walmart where prices are cheaper and the shopping experience is different. I'm posting this review because not only did I not get the simple service I have grown to expect from this Pick 'n Save but the young man attending the cash register was very rude, called over his supervisor and stormed off for her to (in his words) take care of this. And what's even more confusing to me is that their prices are NOT competitive... at all... yet they still have less staff than other stores. As a grocery store as big a Kroger/Pick n save,.. you would think they would have a better atmosphere. This store was not clean and it smelled bad. It was very early in the morning so there's no excuse to why it wasn't clean. And I saw a young lady fall and they were kinda rude to her as it was her fault. But I actually filmed her on the floor. But before I could go help her she had already gotten herself up and she was hurt. i walked past the spill myself prior to that and informed a store clerk that it was there. But, clearly they didn't care because they never cleaned it up. Low and behold someone injured themselves. I caught up to her after seeing her limp out of the store and I will be a witness for her. Absolutely no shopping baskets for customer use in the whole place. I walked by both doors and all registers and did not find one. I asked the self check out employee if they had any baskets and they said that they do, but if they don't have any, that customers are using them. They also suggested twice in the conversation that there were carts. Well, I shopped with my arms only and stopped when I ran out of room. Also, was across the whole store and through self check out and did not see one shopping basket. C'mon. Conclusion. Not a good place to go If you need to pick up less groceries and want to move through the store swiftly. Also, the produce isn't always the greatest quality. Update 11/1/2017: Walked into this Pick N Save recently and was blown away! They have completely renovated this place! It's clean. It's fresh. I'm absolutely loving it. Hopefully it's stays this way and I'll frequent it more often!! 2016: Hmmm. Pick N Save. But really, aside from Piggy's what better options do I really have without having to go out of my way?! It's 24/hours. I've needed this at times, so thank you P.n.S. Same homeless guy hangs out here, loitering. Meh. Prices are expected, I guess. Not the cleanest grocery store I've been in. Some of the practices at the deli and/or "fresh" fish counter can be questionable. We've had to call them out a few times. No basil last time I went. Lame. Ummm but the twist glazed donuts?! Yes please! Lines are obnoxious and this isn't the only location that has this problem. Even the self check-out lines are long when I've gone. Except at night, of course. But when you go during regular hours it's just irritating to have to wait in such long lines. They have a wide selection of stuff and I'm just glad they provide a section for other cuisines so that I can get proper ingredients for my spring rolls and such. That is all. read more

Here's what I want to praise: They now provide an oven baking bag and seasoning when you purchase fish from the Seafood counter! I asked for fresh rosemary and lemon slices to go with my tilapia. Came home, opened the oven bag, adding a spritz of olive oil, a shake off Greek seasoning, the fresh rosemary and lemon slices. It was killer! Yum!!!!!! Just moved to the neighborhood 6 months ago. Used to shop at Outpost, but realizing I can find good options here, too. So much good about this Pick N Save: 1. Lots of natural and organic options. By far, the best Pick n Save for this! 2. Usually in an out with a reasonable wait and quick check out, including a bagger. Improvements: 1. Please, more organic in produce/nuts/seeds/dried fruit. 2. Please more grassfed and organic in meat & eggs. 3. Please, more gluten-free and paleo options. (Chips, bars, tortillas, crackers) 4. Please, more fair trade and organic coffee. If zero stars was a rating I would rate all Pick N'Saves with a zero. I use to work at the one in West Allis, WI. I thought they were ride to me because I had previously worked there, but I recently moved to Menominee Falls, WI. I went last week to the Pick N'Save here with my service dog and was again treated like shit by management, I believe she was management, I had my service dog with me. I was told I was not allowed to have him in the store, not asked if he was/is my service animal, which is against federal law. Needless to say I will NEVER shop at ANY Pick N'Save again. read more

This place has a horrible selection of foods compared to other Pick n Save locations. The staff kids are the absolute worst in customer service. They stand around looking at you, while you do THEIR job bagging your own groceries. The cashiers let the belt run, while YOU bag your own groceries, crushing all your stuff. Like the others, it's woefully understaffed, the produce is often not fresh, prices sometimes don't match up with what is displayed, the grocery selection is limited, and the place sometimes doesn't feel very clean. This store continues to get worse. Every time I shop there something is wrong with the food. Fruit is moldy the next day. Today brought chicken broth that was rancid smelling when I opened it, but date was fine. Yogurt that is way past expiration date is always on the shelf. Recently remodeled, this Pick n Save has improved greatly over the last year. I used to solely shop at Outpost but now I am able to find a good selection of local and organic options at Pick n Save along with the larger selection. What really compelled me to write this review was my experience this morning. I was waiting in line to check out with a few people ahead of me. My two month old started fussing hard so I was soothing him and was therefore one handed. A cashier beckons me over, opens up a new lane for me, while another cashier helped me unload my cart and a third started quickly bagging. They were so helpful and thoughtful and did not make a fuss about it. While I was unable to express my gratitude at the time, I thought their above and beyond actions were fantastic and reflective of a team who truly cares about its customers. I greatly appreciate how this store appears to be making improvements to better serve Bay View families. read more

They waited to long to renovate the one on 76 th and Rawson. Everyone went somewhere else. And by the time they did the remodel a lot of the people didn't come back. Sad to see as that was my grocery store for almost 16 years! I go to the one on 76 th and Coldspring. When your accustomed to knowing where things are it's hard to go somewhere different. I felt that way when I switched stores. To hard for me to switch back. I have food allergies and have to read everything new that I buy, so it takes me twice as long already! Never did I think they would be selling thing way out of date so I really didn't think I needed my receipt for 2 items but to my surprise I did because the Dot's was so far out of date that I was pissed they expired 02/04/2022 and tasted disgdisgusting. They were 5 months over expired and I have no receipt to take them back. at 5 bucks a pop this crooked establishment is ripping all of us off. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE EVER AGAIN!!! read more

I have been here numerous times trying to give it a fair shot since it's convenient and in my neighborhood. I go in the evenings, mornings, weekends, but it's always the same: - The service is horrible. - The produce is gross. - The store is unorganized and seems dirty. - The parking lot is a zoo. - There is no sanitizer in the "Our clean store starts here" dispenser. - There are never any carts or baskets, especially baskets. If I could afford to get everything at Outpost, I would. I might start trying to do that more actually. I may just convert to organic hot sauce and kiss Valentina goodbye just because I want to avoid this location as much as possible. Darnit, they are pushing me to my absolute limit! Furthermore, the paper bags don't have handles, and frankly, sometimes I forget my own bags. They are not easy to carry. How come some Pick N Save's are just so much more convenient and nice? I think Roundy's needs to adopt a universal quality standard that isn't dependent on the neighborhood or the surrounding property values. read more

This Pick is open 24hrs. That is a plus, kind of. Useful if you're craving late-night groceries and dont' want to trek down to Oak Creek for Woodman's or Super Wal-mart escapades. That said, I've heard of, and once or twice seen altercations in this parking lot. I've never seen an actual fight/robbery, but I've watched people scream at each other for a couple minutes on multiple occasions, and that was on a weekday afternoon. 2am - likely a little more suspect. It's also clear that this store doesn't rank high on Roundy's "upkeep list" as often times it's in much disarray. There are much better grocery options in this neighborhood. From Target, to Outpost, to Groppi's. And if you're dependent on Pick, head down to St. Francis to their store off Layton, it's just 4 minutes further south, and much, much nicer. read more

I like the new remodel of this store, but I have 2 issues: prices sometimes ring up different than the shelf says and the lines at the cashiers are longggg. I went twice during the week this week mid-day and there were only 2 cashiers. The self-help lines are great, but not for a cart full of groceries. This has been my go-to store due to the proximity to my house. It satisfies all of my needs yet isn't anything too fancy or has the best selection - definitely could improve on the produce section. The store recently went through a rebrand and updated some of their kiosks and checkout aisles as well as changed up the positioning of some items throughout the store. There is more than enough parking since it is in a strip mall. There are around 12 manned checkouts and another 6 or so self-checkout areas to scan and pack up. When it comes to the coupons, fliers, and double days (on Wednesday and Saturday - double the Manufactures Coupons up to $1) all help out in saving on a weekly shopping. If there are any issues, they are more than happy to help you locate or accommodate your needs. This location does have a great ethnic aisle and a dedicated section for El Rey products, which is definitely a plus! Overall, it is a good store yet nothing special. read more

This store is three blocks from my house, and yet I prefer to drive 10 minutes to the PNS on Whitnall instead. My main problem is that the lines are always ridiculous and they never have any baggers working. At the Whitnall location, if there is no bagger, the cashier will bag your items. Not here. Here the cashier will just stand there and watch you struggle to bag your own stuff even if there is no one in line behind you. The produce is often rotten. I come here weekly and I have experienced high highs and low lows. The remodeling has caused some big problems lately. I spent almost 10 minutes looking for cherries and grapes. Nothing is labeled or where you expect it to be. The tomatoes are amazing some weeks and absolutely rotten (actually moldy) during other weeks. I also like to buy packaged cut up fruit and veggies and these items are never consistent either. Some weeks they seem to have way too many packaged items, and other weeks these items are missing completely. Their fried chicken is very popular and is often on sale. They used to keep a lot of cold packaged 8 piece meals and now you can't find it at all. It's so inconvenient to wait at the deli and ask for a special container when it used to take about 5 seconds to pick this up. The deli staff members are always nice, but often overwhelmed and frustrated. They usually give me a pound when I ask for a half pound or vice versa. The lack of available lanes and baggers is another constant problem. I have been grocery shopping here for a long time and I want this location to get better. Mostly for selfish reasons so I can have a better experience. People coming up behind me asking for money when I am trying to load groceries into my car is another turn off. Come on Holt Pick n' Save, I know we can do better, Milverine shops here for God's sake! read more

Until about a month-month and a half ago, I loved shopping here. But three times since then I have bought beef from here, and either the inside, the bottom, or other pieces under layered chunks have been grey. I understand it being grey under the label, hence why it's not added in that list. Hoping it was a fluke, I gave them two more tries after the first. Sadly, each try was progressively worse. The last piece I bought was grey to the point of being blue. After the first time I gave up trying to return it due to a snide remark from an employee saying- "You should know better", and because I don't want to be 'that person'. For these reasons I will not longer be buying beef of any kind from here, and I won't risk the pork. read more
