We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here last night. Service was the best we have had in the city. Our server, Sofia, really made our night that much more memorable, and all the small details really added up to a special evening. I was hesitant to get the bucatini as I was worried it would be a heavy dish, but it was perfectly balanced, clean, and light. Loved it. The steak dish was top-notch. Perfectly cooked and a fully rounded meal. A lot of steak places charge more and leave you with an empty plate outside of the steak itself, not the case here. Wonderfully seasoned and priced very affordably considering. Such a memorable evening for us and so glad we came here. read more

WOW, not only is the food amazing, so is the staff and the building. Our server Alicen was amazing. We started with a Spicy Paloma and a Little Italy for drinks and an order of Arancini. Unique choice for sauce with mayo, but it did not disappoint. Dinner bread with oil was also served. We then ordered the Lobster & Ravioli, Pork Milanese, Brick Chicken and Chicken Polpettine Campanelle. The portion sizes are large. The Brick Chicken was incredibly moist but lacked flavor although it went very well with the pasta. The Pork Milanese was breaded and seasoned perfectly would have went very well with some pasta. The Chicken Polpettine Campanelle was flavorful with a kick. The flavored blended nicely. The Lobster & Ravoli looked delicious although I did not try this. Presentation was beautiful. It was all served quickly and hot. We were there to celebrate a birthday and Mother's Day and Alicen did take note. When we were finished eating she asked if Lemon Blueberry cake was ok and proceeded to tell us the history of the building. That was a nice story and who knew. We ventured to the washroom and the up to the 3rd floor to check out where the guards stood. Then down to the lower level to check that out as well. This place is awesome. First it is inside of an old beautiful bank with high ceilings and great architecture. I marveled the whole time of how beautiful it was. We sat in the bar area since we didn't have a reservation and they were booked solid until 915pm. The hostess came over and waited on us. She was so colorful and made the experience so enjoyable. When it came for dessert, we asked for a recommendation to which she offered to go get us a special layered cake for an restaurant in the building, as it was her favorite, and WOW is all I can say. What an amazing experience. I've been hearing wonderful things about this place and the rumors were all true. The space inside is huge and you can actually see the spots where the old cashiers were in the building. This billing used to be one of the very first banks that was in Oklahoma City and they converted it into a restaurant. It has all the glam and fanciness that you would expect from a high-end restaurant. All the food we had was pretty delicious and the sides were a huge portions. I do remember one of their sides that we got was a fried item and it was not very crispy. We went ahead and took the side home and put in the air fryer and it tasted amazing. That's why I took off one star. The employees were very kind and explained the history about the building I would come back enter again. I did see online that they have certain days where they have tea parties. I'm definitely gonna come back for that. read more

I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary in December. It was very festively decorated, and very busy. Despite how packed it was, the service was incredibly quick and attentive. I'm a big fan of lasagna, and this was an excellent meal. My girlfriend said the bucatini was a flavor explosion. Service and ambiance are great. Pizza is very good. We had the Teller's Benedict for the first time and it was very bland and tasteless. This review is primarily to give feedback to the restaurant. The dish looked good but was missing the complexity of a good dish. The English muffin was too crispy on the underside making very difficult to cut with a knife. I ended up deconstructing it and pulling it apart to even eat it. The ham was mostly tasteless. The potatoes on the side we cooked perfectly but unseasoned. Some feedback to improve the dish would be to have a strong herbed potato to add depth with the paring. Toasting the interior side on a flat top to maintain the cut-ability of the muffin or butter the bottom side before plating to allow it to soften. Whether it's done with the preparation or the plating, the Benedict needs something to spice it up. This could be as easy as adding some arugula on the side to be eaten with egg. The execution of the elements by themselves were good but the cohesiveness of the dish was not there. We ordered the Caesar salad also and despite not asking for it to be split, was brought out split in two bowls that were hard to eat out of. I really want this restaurant to succeed and believe it could be a Mecca of fine dining if it really wants to be. The ambiance is excellent and service is very professional. Just the food isn't there yet. It may be exactly what they're going for but comes off more Cheesecake Factory than the fine dining establishment you want to go to spend you special occasions. read more

Food a bit overpriced, but the beautiful high ceilings and ambiance made up for the prices. I brought my friend for her birthday and my friend was happy, and told our waitress it was her birthday. Our waitress was limping and had a bad attitude, it really took away from our experience. Our food did not come quick. And a few times I almost got up to get a knife, check where our food was, then our final check. I hate when the waitresses don't pack your food. It's the least they can do, especially when you've barely been serviced. I'll give it a try again, because I like the resturant/location. read more

The best part of this lunch wasn't the food--it was the place itself. Teller's is housed inside an old bank-turned-hotel-turned-restaurant, and wow ... it is *gorgeous*. We stopped in on a weekend without a reservation and waited about 15 minutes for a table. Not bad at all, especially since we got to chill on the velvet couches near the bar, sip a cocktail, and soak in the jaw-dropping architecture. Marble, gold, soaring ceilings--like having lunch inside a fancy jewelry box. My husband ordered me some kind of vodka spritzer (no idea what it was, but 10/10 would drink again). The bartender was great--friendly, quick, and helped my husband pick something I'd like. We even placed our kids' food order right there, and it showed up before we were even seated. Once we were at our table, the service slowed down quite a bit. Not rude or anything, just kind of... MIA. But we were still in a good mood, and the high tea service going on nearby made me want to come back with my 4-year-old for a proper girls' day. As for the food... it was fine. Not bad, not great. Just solidly *meh*. The kids' grilled cheese and fries were the stars of the show (classic, melty, and crispy). The margherita pizza my husband got was runner-up--good crust and decent flavor. I went with the burrata plate and a side of grilled broccolini, and, well... I should've just ordered the grilled cheese too. The burrata itself was fine, but it came with roasted tomatoes and pesto--two things that don't love me back. I kept hoping it would come together with some zing (maybe a balsamic drizzle?), but it never quite did. The broccolini, though... that was rough. It was *so* charred that the bitterness took over the whole plate. The grilled lemon helped a little, but not enough for me--or my usually unfussy husband--to finish it. We skipped dessert to walk over to Gilded Acorn instead (worth it), but even with the hit-or-miss food, we still want to come back. The vibe alone is enough to earn a second visit--maybe for high tea with the littles or a grown-up dinner date at night. And now we kinda want to stay at the hotel too, just to see if it's as dreamy as the restaurant. Overall, it's a solid 3.5-star experience--we're rounding up to 4 because the space is just that stunning, and the bar service made a great first impression. We had reservations for 8:45, but received a text at 6:30 letting us know we could be seated at 7:30--which worked out perfectly. If you want to truly experience the holiday season, Tellers is a must-do. I would absolutely order the sea bass and pizza again. I had heard amazing things about Tellers and I knew I wanted to try it out when I saw they were decorated for the Christmas holiday. It's on the second floor of the first national building so it was a little confusing for me to find the first time. Eventually I found the elevator that took me up to the gorgeous restaurant. The staff was so kind and helpful and our server gave us the history of the restaurant. I ordered the shrimp bucatini which I thought was okay but the sauce was thick and didn't complement the pasta shape. I probably would order a pizza next time. A pretty cool spot with a lot of history. I came here for a business dinner and it honestly didn't disappoint. The drinks were good, vibe was on point and the service was good. The table order family style which was nice because we got to try a little of everything and we didn't have a bad dish. The pizza was probably my favorite appetizer we got. I ended up getting the praised rib pasta which was really good. The pasta was cooked perfect for me since I like the al dente style pasta but if you don't you may want to ask for it to cook a little longer. The dessert was a great finisher for the night and my favorite was the blackberry cobbler. If you're driving through Oklahoma or, downtown OKC more specifically, you may drive past what might be one of the city's hidden gems. Masquerading as a commercial office building is Tellers, a 1930s bank retrofitted as a swanky bar and restaurant in the heart of downtown OKC. The setting is beautiful, truly feeling like you're in an old school bank. The booths lie where customers would've cashed checks and talked to tellers (pun intended). The service was phenomenal with our waitress checking in at the perfect times and offering to take photos of us, even giving us a short history lesson of the bank itself. The food was great and reasonably priced given the atmosphere. We ordered the pancakes, which were on the thinner side but had a nice crisp bottom, and the All American which featured perfectly cooked eggs, delicious roasted potatoes, and flavorful sausage. The coffee came courtesy of La Colombe and was delicious as well. As an experience, Teller's is fantastic with a beautiful interior, good value, and food that matches the rest. The water had food bits in it and the glasses were clearly dirty. The server resolved it, but it should not have been an issue to start. Had dinner at Tellers with my grandma and my daughter. My grandma's younger sister used to work as a teller in that building when it was still a bank, so she recognized a lot of little details--the floors, the teller windows, the vault area. It brought back memories for her, and getting to be there with her and my daughter made the night feel really special. The restaurant itself is beautiful. High ceilings, cool lighting, just the right amount of fancy. Our server was friendly and easy to talk to--no complaints at all there. Food-wise, my daughter had the Rigatoni al Forno--baked pasta with red wine-braised short rib, tomato, and ricotta. It was rich and cheesy and basically disappeared in five minutes. I had the Lasagna Verde alla Ragu Bolognese, which was layered with beef and pork ragu, creamy fonduta, and came on a bed of arugula. It was comforting without being too heavy. My grandma got the Branzino, and it looked amazing--served with roasted fennel, artichokes, and capers in a lemon white wine sauce. She said it was the best fish she's had in a long time. Review is for the Alice in Wonderland Afternoon Tea service: Such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Then venue is beautiful as it is in the Great Hall - very high ceilings with an open concept. We went during valentines day so there was a lot of valentine decor in addition to Alice in Wonderland themed photo ops. I especially loved that the girls were dressed up as it added to the experience. We were first greeted with a complementary bubbly :) My mother and I each got to choose a tea - we got the Mad Hatter's Jasmine Delight and the Queen of Hearts' Earl Grey, both if which were very tasty. My personal favorite is the earl grey as you can really taste the notes of rose and bergamot. Loved all of the tea sandwiches, sweet desserts and the mystery 'drink me' blue concoction :) Super excited for the Bridgerton tea next! Daughter and I returned to Tellers to celebrate her upcoming bday having eaten here the year before for special occasion. Had to have the lobster ravioli since it was so good last time. Was SHOCKED to receive a plate with only THREE raviolis and a couple of pieces of lobster. That is over $10 per ravioli! Absolutely insane to charge people for that. What happened Tellers? Had a plateful last visit. You can even see the pictures of the ravioli plates getting fewer and fewer over the years. SO disappointing. This was a special occasion meal for a friend's birthday. Quality The toasted bread with the Burrata was stale, as if it had been prepared a couple of days prior. Minor detail, but an easy fix for the chef. NOTE: One can get similar dishes around town (two Italian restaurants a few blocks away) at the same price points. Service Reasonably priced lunch entrees, a good server who kept drinks refilled, and most dishes came to the table hot from the kitchen. The server had a lot of tables to cover (??) and seemed a bit impatient overall. Price (one star for the beautiful art deco surroundings) Tellers website does have an FAQ link for parking, but that page is blank for a reason. I suggest a ride-share service with your lunch companions, much cheaper and better in and out. Parking If you opt for the valet parking at 120 North Robinson, be prepared to pay through the nose for that service. Typically, courtesy valet service at an upscale restaurant is a reasonable expectation, and a generous tip is expected upon departure. This valet service does not have a sign that states in clear language that you are charged by the hour/minute (not sure which). You are handed a receipt, and generally, who stops to read the fine print on a valet ticket? Concerning: I arrived at 12:50 pm, had lunch, departed at 3 pm, and the valet charged over $19.00 TWICE on my credit card. My lunch companions, all three arrived in their own cars, and were charged almost $25 for the same service. Be prepared for a reasonably priced meal, but a hefty parking fee if you decide to visit Tellers. Lesson learned! The "take-away." Local upscale restaurant in historic First National Bank building with standard fare also available in other Italian restaurants close by. Park on the street, or take a ride-share. read more
