Jeff is truly a succulent expert--he spent several years in the botany department at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum where he was responsible for a lot of beautiful planters and gardens. 2. Jeff grows all of his plants from seeds, outside, so you can be confident that anything you purchase will be successful in the Tucson climate. 3. Jeff has a great eye for color and shape. He builds his inventory by journeying around the Southwestern US in AZ and CA. He has a beautifully curated selection of plants that are arid-adapted and won't over-burden the water supply. 4. Jeff takes the time to teach you how to care for your new plant. You can trust his advice! I'm normally a plant killer, but thanks to Jeff I've kept a pot of bushop's caps alive for six months now. The nursery states "open" but is blocked by several large trucks with hitched trailers. I had a hard time finding an entrance to the grounds and when I did, I couldn't tell if I was in a nursery or a construction zone. The lot was empty with little hills of rocks and tractors. There were some outdoor plants, but very sparse and not healthy looking. I couldn't find where the indoor plants were and I wandered the property for a solid five minutes before I gave up and left. Never saw another person or worker. Odd experience, will not be back.

Like I'm bothering her and I shouldn't be there. She told me to go buy fake flowers. Seriously? I came for advise and left upset. I went to another greenhouse and got actual advice and was treated like a human. To the guy with the blue plugs , thank you for trying and wanting to help but she kept talking over you. We love our neighborhood nursery and have been loyal customers for many years. We, primarily,…read morepurchase pepper plants (jalapeno, anaheim, habanero, serrano, poblano, ghost... etc... and their assortment, healthy plants, guidance and friendliness has always been the reason we return each season. Because of the mild winter last year, our pepper plants have produced over and over and have become more like trees than plants on our back porch. We are so happy to hear that Woody is recovering and on the mend and we look forward to saying hi to him soon!
