The taro croffle was actually very good, better compared to the other locations. My main concern was the fact that I found some sort of hair in my croffle. We had already eaten some of the croffle and we brought it up to the employee. He told us it is a sugar strand and showed us an example. Yet, when I pulled the strand out of the croffle, it was more attached to the taro cream and it had no similar texture to the sugar strand. The sugar strand should melt and break easily but this strand did not, it was also more like a white-ish color. I'm thinking it was maybe a pet hair. The employee was very friendly about it and made us a new croffle free of charge.

It was really bad. The flavor and texture were yucky. Nothing was seasoned except the "yummy sauce," which had the strangest flavor. It just didn't taste good. I was grateful I got a side of fries, which were excellent. I'm sure they're trying to accommodate vegans, but there is still some work to do there so the food tastes good and isn't just put together to say there is a vegan option on the menu. Everyone else loved their food. It's a nostalgic place for all of them, too, so that adds to their experience. They sat us in a room with a door, and that was lovely because it gave us some privacy and toned down the noise. For me, that was the best part of our brunch outing. The location is very bright and cozy. They have plenty of seats and tables to accommodate solo or larger parties. One of my favorite spots of the shop is the wall of coloring pages done. I also asked them if they allow dogs and they do allow well behaved dogs and owners must clean up after their pets if any accidents occur. The staff welcome you inside once you step in. The cashier and barista were both courteous and efficient. I ordered a 24oz guava mango smoothie and it was made to perfection. The consistency of the smoothie was the best and you can taste both the guava and mango. I look forward to visiting them more often as they are one of the best coffee spots.
