We were happy with the sales process and satisfied with the sale and service received while doing the deal. My complaint is not with the service but with car itself. We bought the Jeep Trailhawk 4e hybrid so we could tow it behind our motor home. As the people at Piedmont jeep know we've be having problem with the main starting battery dying when we tow it. There were several occasions on our trip to Alaska last Summer that when got to our days destination, that the Jeep would not start. We could not even jump it off. When were in Wyoming was one of those times. I had to go to an auto parts store and buy a charger. When I put it on the charge it said it only had 10% charge. Not near enough to start the car. I charged it for several hours and it finally got up to charge. We finally decided that my wife would drive the Jeep most of the time after that, until we got to Wassilla, Alaska, which had a jeep service. They kept it for 2 days and ran diagnostics on it. they were very helpful. When they tested the battery at first it only had 330 cranking amps. That was on a full charge. When is suppose to have over 700. They did a deep cell charge to get it up to full. We continued on our trip for the rest of the summer but we had to drive the Jeep more than tow it, and even with that it still went dead some. having to charge it at our camp site. When we finally got home we took to Piedmont jeep in hopes of getting a new battery. They tested and said it passed all tests and declared it good. My deal is why does a car that costs Over 60000 not have a battery that will stay charged when being towed, when it is designed to be towed. I know this is long but we are very frustrated. I made an appointment to have my oil changed today (Saturday) and told them I would be waiting for the car. One of the service advisors came out and told me I was due for air filters, alignment and tire rotation. (I expected that they would tell me something was due to be done, so wasn't shocked when they did). They had the car in and out in just about an hour. Can't complain about that! In the past, I have always sent a text to the salesman (Chris Merritt) who sold me my car. I didn't today because I didn't think he would be in when I came in. Although we didn't talk today, just a quick wave as I was on my way out, I suspect I'll get a text message from him in the next day or two asking if my service was done to satisfaction. Chris has gone way out of his way to make sure I'm still satisfied with my Jeep Cherokee. I've driven on the lot and tracked him down just to have him show me something I can't quite figure out. He's always been very helpful, and showed this old lady how to operate all the bells and whistles. I could go on and on, but I don't want to embarrass Chris. I am extremely pleased with my recent dealing with Piedmont Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge in Anderson SC. There was no shuffle and tap dancing trying to slide anything past me in an unfair deal. They determined what I wanted and didn't try to entice me into anything else. They did not have what I was looking for but they secured one from another dealer in another state and they went and got it, and didn't try to charge me for going after it (as did another dealer when I was shopping before finding Piedmont). I went there to secure the Charger Scat Pack that I wanted and had planned to buy it outright and then sell my 2014 Charger RT privately. But the trade in offer they made on my 2014 was attractive enough to trade it with them. I told my salesman Nic Eaton (and I've never said this to an auto dealer) "I can't find anything to complain about !!" It was an honest statement and I am sure that Piedmont will be my dealer of choice from now on. Nic Eaton is the type of sales representative that ALL auto dealers could use a lesson from. I dropped off my Jeep Wrangler on Jan 26, 2022 and it was quickly diagnosed with a blown head gasket on Jan 28th (which was covered under Jeeps powertrain warranty). It's almost March and my Jeep is not repaired. It appears they did not send the heads out while waiting on a part for 2 weeks (gasket kit) and are now saying they either received the wrong gasket kit or miss marked it. My assigned advisor usually won't call me back so I'm now trying to deal with the Service Manager. Ultimately, the Service Manager was very responsive and got the parts issue resolved, heads sent out and vehicle repaired. read more

I took my daughter's 2014 Patriot there for service and Jocelyn was great. Vehicle was delivered as promised and my daughter says it now drives like a brand new vehicle. We have our 2009 Ram 1500 in for maintenance now. They were very confident in their diagnosis of the issues and captured 2 recalls that were outstanding. Katherine, Kyre, and Darryl all have excellent customer service skills. I had a valuable experience thr staff and technicians they not only corrected the issue I was having they went the extra mile to determine what caused the issue I had and they located a dead short in the wiring harness to ensure this same issue didn't occur again.
