I made an appointment the day before and dropped my truck off for service. I received a call early the next morning sharing what my concerns were. I received a text later in the day with all the issues listed in order from an immediate fix to address soon. From the app I was able to select what services I wanted them to complete. I made a quick call in to speak with the person managing my service and she advised the part needed was ordered and would be in the next morning and I should hear something by a certain time. I was called and told my truck was ready before I expected. The price was as quoted and my truck ran smoothly after taking her out of the shop. If I could change anything the cost would be a little less but it's a dealership so their prices are as expected. Great customer service!! read more

I was misquoted over the phone for work on my car that my college aged son was using for school. The first al amount was 40% higher than the phone quote. My son did the realize the final charge was so high and paid the incorrect amount. When I called Ralph Hayes Service management, the man was o ly confrontational and did NOTHING to help. I think I was pretty calm and logical as to why I felt we were overcharged but the manager was no help. I would not trust them. I gave the guy the eight hundred number to call wheels for a seat replacement. The only thing I got from him was a hard time. Every time I bring one of my Toyota vehicles (we have three) to Ralph Hayes Toyota in Anderson something else needs to be fixed or replaced. When I bring my vehicle to a different dealer, they don't have any recommendations and tell me my vehicles are looking great. Today, one of our vehicles was brought in by my son and they said the air filters needed to be replaced. My husband had just replace these filters in November. I called and told them I was coming down to get the filters because I wanted to see that they needed to be replaced. George called me back and said that he found them and the engine filter was clean but the other one was a little dirty. He said I could bring the vehicle back tomorrow and they would put the filters back in and refund our money. If you take your vehicle to Ralph Hayes, get a second opinion. 2019 Highlander purchased in September 2019. Had terrible vibrations when applying brakes at highway speeds. Car had 5000 miles on it. Decided it was warped rotors, did they replace them NO they surface ground them, something you would do at 60,000 miles. So my brakes are 60,000 miles old now. Decided to take it in for 10,000 mile Toyota care. Complementary service check fluids, wipers etc. also included oil and filter change - tire rotation- and cabin air filter change. Being skeptical and also a licensed A&P aircraft mechanic, I checked the cabin air filter. Was it replaced NO. Now I wonder if they replaced the oil filter?? I have one more Toyota care visit at 20,000 miles, it won't be at Ralph Hays. Probably my last Toyota as well. Shame on you Toyota read more

This is perhaps the worst car dealership that I've ever considered working with. Would not offer any financing options only what they wanted. I have never been treated so disrespectfully at any place of business, ever. I visited today (3/31) for a recalled airbag replacement. I made the appointment at 3:30 pm on Saturday, March 27th. The automated system from Toyota indicated that the replacement would take approximately one hour. Upon arrival, I was told it might take up to three hours. This was strike 1. I spent over 2 hours in nearby stores only to receive a phone call that the dealership DID NOT even have my airbags, despite the appointment being made days prior. Strike 2 was that they did not bother to be forthcoming about this from the beginning. Strike 3 was when they took this time to "inspect" and discover about $800 in "problems" with my vehicle without my consent. I am sure they would have ratcheted it up to $2,000 and/or tried to persuade me to purchase a new vehicle had I not given a hard no. I barely received any sort of apology. I wasted gas and valuable work time to receive nothing in return. I expected them to attempt to sell me something, but not for them to absolutely disregard my time like this. i've had my car there twice in the last couple months and I'm just not going to do it again after this last visit. I'm going to drive to the Toyota in easley , the the service department it's really lacking, I came in for an oil change before Christmas. I had an appointment 2 1/2 hours later. I finally got my car back. Went yesterday made an appointment a week before that they don't have the part they kept my car 24 hours and still couldn't fix my car so now I have to make it another trip there when the part finally comes in. I asked my service advisor if he could do an adjustment maybe on the shop supplies of $18 and he said no and he had the audacity to tell me that the fact that I had to manually unlock and unlock my door was not that big of a deal until the part came in when I clearly made an appointment to spend $600 because it is a big deal at least to me just the way he handled it was unprofessional read more

People warned me about this dealership. I went with them anyway, for convenience and thought their "Family Promise Plan" was a worthy promotion, but that turned out to be a scam, also. Read the Better Business Reviews (to late for me). They tell the story on these clowns (Ralph Hayes Toyota). I wish I had taken the time to review the BBB reviews. I Bought a Highlander from them at MSRP. I gave them a $1,000 deposit and awaited delivery. The delivery was important to me. I need this car for work purposes and I let them know that. In hindsight . . . a mistake. I caught them early on trying to increase the price. . . they backtracked and AGAIN agreed on the original MSRP. Could not believe they would try something so obvious, but they did. When the car was ready, I went to take delivery and noticed that the price on the paperwork was not the price that we had agreed on. Thankfully, I kept good records of our paperwork and noticed their "new scam price" before I signed. The salesman was clearly well aware of the "new scam price" but played it cool until I brought it up. At that point, he shifted into the "I gotta check with my manager" scam. Also, the promotional items ("Family Promise Plan") that were promised were not on the car. Every step of this process was dishonest...the sales (several sales persons. . . none worth a dime. Lacking basic product knowledge and integrity), the promotion (The "Family Promise Plan" is a scam. They provided no floor mats, etc.. . . as "promised"), the financing (All but ignored the promotional Toyota Financial offer until I insisted), and (most important) the final price. They are experts at the art of the scam. BOTTOM LINE: They would not sell me the car for the agreed upon price so I left without the urgently needed car. My first appointment to this Toyota dealership. I am never going back. Here is why: 1) I was told my battery was getting low. When I mentioned that it had been put in at another Toyota dealership in the past two years, they backed off. My report said my battery was in the green. 2) I received a flyer in the mail supposedly showing the results of my last visit. It showed my brake linings as being in the "red/yellow" zones. Complete scam artists: I recently took my Camry in for an oil change and inspection. During this, the service technician came out and told me that there was a serious problem with my brake pads and they needed to be replaced immediately. I was told that it was nearly a safety hazard to drive and they showed me two very worn down brake pads. I needed my car for work on Monday morning and they couldn't finish it before then since they are closed on Sunday. Fortunately, Firestone was open on Sunday and when I brought my car there, they took my wheels off in front of me and showed me that my brake pads had over half life. I've been going to Ralph Hayes to have my Toyota serviced for about a year now. In that time, they have taken great care of my car. I've had a few hiccups with communication between some of the service advisors but when I brought these issues to the attention of the service manager, Mike Bishop, he was very understanding, heard the concerns and was able to find a solution to them. I really respect the fact that Mike listened and even apologized for the service advisor's mistake. He ensured me that training was improving and I believe it is. I've been taking my 2009 Corolla here for a few years. The car was purchased in Ohio, so not from this dealership, but they've been treating it as if they sold it to me. Once service person even said that if I ever wanted to sell my car or trade it in, they would like it because I've taken really good care of it. Every single one of my experiences with Ralph Hayes Toyota have exceeded my expectations. Yes, sometimes there is more that needs to be done on my car than what I bring it there for, but I've never felt pressured to spending more money than I choose to. I've found that making an appointment online is the best way to be taken care of quickly. And, if you've been hearing a weird noise or noticed the car not running as well--chances are they will find the reason and offer to fix it. Toyota had some recalls out on my car last year and when I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, I was told that there were several other items that needed to be fixed. Of course I could've declined, but my safety while driving is worth the extra time to me. Waiting in the customer lounge is as pleasant as it gets. Comfy chairs, wifi, free beverages and coffee.. it's a nice touch. Several service people have gone above and beyond for me. Including the older gentleman who drives the free shuttle around town. Today, I was able to go to the gym while waiting for my car--and it was actually done 30min before the time that I was quoted. Watch your belongings! My wife and I went a couple of weeks ago for a scheduled maintenance. After we got back the car, our Garmin navigation was broken. The screen cracked and the device stopped working. We talked to the staff as well as the service manager. The answer was the they would not be responsible even if they broke it. We ended up going home with the broken device. I couldn't imagine how rude and careless they need to be to break the navigation in a tire rotation job. The service department here is terrible. Been here twice, total scam artists both times. They do not let one person have they're car back without offering at least one or more unnecessary and overpriced services. They said I needed to replace my wipers for 65 bucks, when they were fine and I could do the same thing myself for less than 20. They also claimed I needed a fuel system cleaning, and when I asked what they meant they gave a mumbled response saying something about the carburetor on a 2017 truck. What? Service always take longer than expected, and nobody ever knows what's going on. If you dare to go here, be ready for long wait times and be fully prepared to say no to every recommended or so call "required" service they offer. read more

He stated that they were absolutely wonderful in inspecting his car at the last minute. I had​ the pleasure of speaking with Johnie at the service desk today and he was so helpful in assisting me with an invoice to submit to NC DMV. Kindness and patience are sometimes overlooked with CSR due to being busy or simply in a bad mood but we've never experienced anything​ but excellence with this service department. I'm sorry that I can't remember​ the woman's name that worked him in at our first visit but please thank her as well. God Bless! PS.
