Great pizza! Quick service. Knots were delicious! Small restaurant hometown pizza spot vibe.

Delicious perfect pizza at around $20-25, shared well for 2 adults. The Sunday pie was outstanding. Caesar salad was disappointing , for $10 it was like a tiny fast food side salad.... something needs adjusting. Really enjoyed service and vibes, small indoor area with booths and tables. Netted patio available.

Forget the saying "shut your pie hole," my friends...Now try saying, "stuff your mouth with some delicious "Piehole Pizza," instead? The pizza here will not disappoint! We ordered to go: 1 Large "Eat Pray Love" AKA ~ Margherita Pizza 1 order of Meatball Sliders Desirah, (probably spelled it wrong), took my order over the phone and she was as delightful on the phone as she was in person! She told me that our order would be ready in 40 mins...and it was:) I was starving so I didn't even wait to heat it when we got home. The crust was the perfect thickness along with the sauce to fresh mozzarella ratio. I reheated my other 2 slices and ate every crumb! The meatball sliders were good but could have used a bit more sauce. Served on their famous garlic knots. *I would suggest asking for extra sauce on the side. *They have live music here on most nights depending on the weather *Plenty of parking in the lot *I door and outdoor seating *Full service bar & large TV's to watch sports

We checked out Piehole Wood Pizza last week. It was definitely worth the drive for us (3 bridges, 1 detour and about 30 minutes). The restaurant is very nice looking. They have outdoor seating and an outdoor bar, tables in an enclosed screened in room and tables inside. We sat inside. I loved all the wood and brick and the cool looking bar. Our waiter was very nice. We ordered the Meatballs as an appetizer and a pizza with sausage and pepperoni and lots of other coverings. Everything was delicious. They had a cold NAB Beck's for me - so I was even happier. Clean bathroom and plenty of parking. Definitely coming back for more delicious wood fired pizza! Oh yeah, they use some kind of machine to make New York water for their pizza dough. Excellent!

We had dinner in their other Pie Hole on Federal Highway in Port St Lucie. We went with another couple. The salads arrived quickly. No complaints. We waited over half and hour for two pizzas. Our friends came out. Looked nice. And we waited another 15 minutes for our pizza. That's a big NO-NO for me. I was told that they only had one pizza maker. I told her "that's not my problem. " Finally the pizza came out. We had meatballs and mushroom. It was ok. Nothing special. The taste was ok. The crust was nothing special.

Great local place for pizza. It is out of the way but, it is totally worth it. Service was friendly and fast. Ambiance is total local, a little laid back. True definition of hidden gem!!

    12" Vegan Cheese Pizza

I was recommended to Piehole and it did not disappoint!! It seems like the only pizzeria in the area to offer vegan pizza! It was pretty tasty! I tastes like there's some sort of cheese blend, so there is Vegan mozzarella but it also tastes like there's a yellow cheese? I'm not sure if it's the brand of vegan cheese used, but it's still good! I've also heard that they have great non-vegan pizza, specially the fig one. Overall, it was great pizza and great for people with varying dietary restrictions. I ordered for pickup so I didn't sit and eat there. It seems like a chill spot to have pizza!

Enjoyed our first visit. We ordered a fully equipped 16" Sunday Pizza topped with Pecorino Romano, ricotta, sliced meatballs, strips of basil, and mozzarella. If you like cheese, this is a great pizza. Pizza's crust was thin, and delightfully tasty. Enough for two people plus take some home. All washed down with a nicely chilled draught Islamorada Citrus and a Yuengling. The citrusy Islamorada was less successful...should have chosen an ale or IPA. Our request to turn down the music volume was honored. Too loud for family conversation. Friendly service. Dining inside, outdoor screened-in, or outdoor tables. Tips: * Happy Hour is 3-5 but you must ask what's the (limited) selection * Offers draught beer & wine, but does not appear on the printed menu, online menu, or the website. Little odd. * Piehole is a busy pizza place, so we dined late afternoon without wait. * Closed Tuesdays Small Gripe: "Suggested Tip" calculated a gratuity on the sales tax. Nope. Will return.

Such a great spot to come to after the beach! I loved eating the pizza here. Fantastic service and delicious pizza. The outdoor (screened in area) is great to sit in (the inside feels a little dark if you've been at the beach all day). Don't miss the meatballs!!! Get them with cheeeeese on them for extra magical goodness.

The place as a whole has a good vibe. They are severely understaffed it seemed. They had one nice waitress that had to cover the whole back area. The food wasn't terrible but coming from NJ pizza is hard to compare....

We've driven past this place several times, and it always looks busy and inviting! Finally we decided to go, and it did not disappoint! We ordered their famous garlic knots and the spartichoke pizza (white pizza with spinach and artichoke). The garlic knots are huge and easy to share among four people. The small pizza was big enough to leave us two with some leftovers, but maybe we would have finished it if it's all we ordered. On Fourth of July weekend, we had to wait about 30 min, but once we sat down, everything came out quickly. We didn't mind sitting by the kitchen and watching them make their wood-oven pizzas! The price point is a bit higher than usual for the area, but we're from Miami, so it was fine by us. There was plenty of parking, but keep in mind that coming here takes some intentionality since there's nothing around but bird sanctuaries! The drive isn't bad from the South Hutchinson Island restaurants and neighborhood, but bring bug spray in case you have to wait outside or plan to go when it's not the busiest. There's a good variety of pizzas and lots of vegetarian options. We want to come back and try some of their other pizzas for sure!

Staying in Port Saint Lucie for work and I made a list of some spots I wanted to try around the area. This particular Sunday the journey to the Pie hole was so unplanned, the experience made dinner even more genuine. Starting in PSL to go eat in Stuart to arrive at a closed pizza on New Year's day was unfortunate but a blessing in disguise, it was then the move was shifted to go to the Pie hole. Stopped for dessert first as we were hungry but the entree was Pizza no matter what. Drove A1A up from Stuart and what felt off the beaten path as it is very dark, we arrived at the Pie Hole. They have a gorgeous lit patio on its south side, a small enclosed outdoor in front a small dining room inside along with a bar. Sat outside and was well taken care of by a wonderful waitress named Olivia. She was patient and took our appetizer order while I got stuck on a work call. The smorgasbord is super satisfying, definitely fancy mozzarella sticks as it's not the generic fried mozz you come across. Better quality cheese, breading, and savory all around. The meatball sliders are absurdly mouthwatering. The wings just felt overshadowed but they were also flavorsome and had options of sauces to be tossed. Since we enjoy being cheesy, we went with the Sunday Pie for the day being Sunday. Great wood fire taste and the bite of the whole ensemble made an appreciable product. Hope to make it that way again as my time in the area will be over soon. But the Pie Hole leaves a special place in my heart. The journey to it, the drinks after, and probably my favorite name for a pizza joint ever. Maybe I'll see you at the Pie Hole one day. Cheers.

Garlic knots, that couldn't wait till we took the picture!

Literally instead of a hello We had already been told this by the hostess as she seated us and considering they've got it on the menu as well as at the table in big letters, I'm assuming this is a problem for most people. It is for me. I will usually tip even at lunch 25% for good service but when the management is forcing me to pay 18%, whether the service is good or not, then that's what I'm going to pay. Management is not doing their wait staff any favors. I took a star off for that. As far as the food, I was pleasantly surprised. I had fried green tomatoes and the fish and chips. My niece had a smash burger. She says hers was excellent. The fried green tomatoes were literally the best I've ever had. Which is saying a lot because I love this appetizer and will usually order it in any southern restaurant. The fish and chips were also good but not great. The fish was tender, and the breading was crispy and not too soggy, but it was not perfectly crispy. The french fries were lacking in flavor and chewy. But basically the food was good and the service was satisfactory but not great. But I will be back to try other items on the menu -/ if you're setting the bar for an 18% tip then that saves the customers a lot of money when they would usually do 25 to 30%. When I see this in a restaurant, it tells me that the management does not want to dip in their profits to give their employees health insurance, but depends on the customer to do it for them.

The servers delight in sharing the absolute joy this kitchen dishes up for every diner in that room. The servers all smile the knowing smile of someone who has seen hundreds of super satisfied customers with even happier bellies. So now to the food. My wife got the pulled pork sandwich and offered me half. I took a bite and gallantly handed it back before my tongue got the message back to the rest of me on just how great that sandwich was - otherwise, I would have likely had a real internal struggle to give any of her dinner back. The barbecue sauce was tangy and warm, the pork, delectable and the coleslaw layer, cool, crisp and punchy. This sandwich was the prince of pulled pork! The French fries it came with took me back 50 years to being a kid and knowing what a French fry was supposed to taste like - real potatoes that someone had peeled fresh, crinkle cut and used fresh oil to fry to perfection. Wow. We ordered a seven piece chicken with a side of fried okra. The chicken was superb. As you bit into it, there was a crack from the batter like a tree branch breaking in two. That batter was cooked to absolute perfection. The chicken itself was cooked nicely and slid right off the bone with no tooth wrestling needed. The okra was nicely fried, but the real treat was how the tang of the okra came shining through like it was being eaten whole - the flavor didnt get lost in a thick batter or too long a fry. We also ordered the St. Louis ribs and man, they were also deee-lishous. Well balanced between sweet and tangy, a super platter with some lovely mac and cheese and collard greens for accompaniment. We tried a few of their specialty lemonade flavors. They were nice, but not the highlight in this menu full of superstars. We all had happy but super full bellies, so the peach cobbler and the banana pudding we took home will need to wait for the morning for them to get evaluated. Given the rest of our experience, I'm not going to lose money betting against this place! I met the owner, a solid honest, look you in the eye type of fellow. You could tell two things about him right away: 1. He's a man who has a great deal of pride to have this restaurant and it's fine food to share with the world. 2. This is not an easy business, but he doesn't mind, because he just knows his food is high art in a soul food world made up of many poimitations. Go give these fine folks a try. I am most sure you will leave just like me - searching for words that just don't exist to describe how good this food really is. Thank you Kinfolk, and like another reviewer said, I will be dreaming of this food until I figure a way back to your shop.

Plenty of locals coming in and out. We ordered breakfast. The catfish was seasoned very well. Not a fan of the Cajun sauce for the fish. The grits were cooked just right, not too thick or watery. The Georgia sausage was so good. The added bonus a bakery next door. I don't even like desserts, but they looked so good. The room was decorated beautifully. We ordered a 1/2 dozen cupcakes for Mother's Day. My only complaints are we had ask for a spoon for coffee. She brought me an uncovered stirrer with her hand. We didn't get offered water. We asked for coffee refills and never got them. The bathroom was hot and could have been a little cleaner. The floor was slippery, and didn't smell as clean as the rest of the restaurant. Overall... it was a good experience. I would try them again.
