I had been wanting to try this place for a long time. I decided to finally try it and I went for breakfast. We were seated promptly, they brought some pico de Gallo. It was ok, I'm Mexican so I'm picky with my salsas. I ordered a waffle, eggs, and sausage. Hubs ordered the egg special with potatoes and sausage. Waffle was ok, it was fresh. The sausage was very greasy and so were the potatoes. The food is ok and prices reasonable. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the pies are off the hook. I will definitely keep buying them. We've been coming here for over 20 years. Service has been up and down, and the food can be hit or miss sometimes. My first bad review was for Pieloons. The waiter didn't know how to discount my meal after I showed him the coupon, which I got for checking with Yelp. I'll admit I was upset. So, to make it right, I'm going to review them for my last visit. We were able to sit right away, and Victor, who by the way is great, took our order. Breakfast is served all day and is always good. They also have daily specials. And there is more than a few.plates that can easy be shared. Our meal was on spot, and Victor kept the coffee coming. (It was cold that night.) Fairly good diner food with an extensive menu. I mean seriously, they have a large menu plus a specials menu. I've been coming here off and on for years and have yet to be disappointed for their meals both dinner and bfast. This place also has plenty of seating and at the moment (covid) they have a couple of tents outside where I have sat the past couple of times. I've been going to Pieloon since the late 90s and the food and costumer service always has been great I highly recommend this place.

This is for the peach pie only. I didn't like it, though some parts were great, the crust, the glaze, and most of the fruit. But unpeeled peaches make me almost puke, it feels like sandpaper on my throat. I picked out the glazed fruit like an appetizer and my teeth avoided the peels...it was a waste, a soggy mess...and never again for this pie. They make some great pies, this was not one of them. August 19, 2018 Sunday wanted a fresh peach Pie was driving by this place, pulled in, parked We notice a sign far away from the parking the sign read: ALL WHOLE PIES $9.99....there was what we call the small print? Anyway we see in front another sign that read: FRESH STRAWBERRY & FRESH PEACH PIE'S $13.99! We were happy we wanted a fresh peach pie. We go in now as you are all know almost all pie shops display their pie's up front in a glass case. The objective is to entice a customer who ate like pie to also get a pie to go. So we don't see any fresh peach Pie's and we asked the stupid girl working up front about the pie. This girl said they are in the back. We asked her if we could ser a pie? Now tbis was fukn hilarious she says with a straight face.....oh they are in the back, you can't see them....lmfao! That shit was so dam funny we had to turn around and walk out. Now if the pie's are fresh why ate they in the back? That means they are not that fresh they had to have tbem in tbe fridge. So we walkedout knowing this week is fresh peach Pie season so now they have so much competition. You can buy great Pie's at, Polly's, Marie Calendar's, Hoff's, many places where you see what pie you want....ha ha ha Funny we never bought a pue from this place and never will ate here a few times each time the food and service went down.....the frist time everything was perfect. The service is fabulous, the food is always perfectly cooked and seasoned, it's a very comfortable atmosphere, and the prices are on par with similar restaurants. I always have leftovers and they're just as good a few days later as they are when freshly brought to the table. My family has tried the salmon, red snapper, eggplant parmesan, pasta Lousiana (with bacon instead of spicy sausage), all of their fettuccine dishes, the breakfast burrito, beef ribs, spinach & mozzarella ravioli, potato leek soup, and several of their sandwiches, burgers and salads (and they have my favorite dressing: raspberry vinaigrette!). NEVER GOING BACK! I'm very disappointed with the service that was provided to me today. I usually come here to eat and the food is delicious but The customer service is the weakest point of this whole entire establishment. It will be completely empty with just 4 tables filled And the waitresses and workers will just be chit chatting, laughing and horsing around while customers need coffee/water to be refilled or condiments. I literally had to get up and get my own condiments. How hard could it be just to do your job properly and refill water when there's barely any customers there and over 15 staff members??? We brought this to attention of the Owner or managers wife and she was rude. She took our drink cups and said "that's fine, Yelp us" That made me lose all respect for this establishment as a whole. Also another side note, our waitress was sweeping tables right next to us while we're eating. I was previously in food handling and customer service and You are not supposed to sweep near Customers and their food because when you do sweep dirt, hair etc particles start to float around in the air. This place was hidden but inside its very niche. Although the attitude of the host and server were not the best. The coffee mug were served looked like one that someone brought from home or maybe a customer left it and they decided to keep it. I'm not sure. We also had to keep asking for a coffee refill and then we asked they used it as an opportunity to fill everyone else's coffee. They never refilled the soda I got. The chilaquiles we ordered, the cook undercook the eggs so bad it was still had the slimy pieces of the egg white in the eggs. The super potatoes were very bland. Finally we ordered a slice of cheesecake and the cheesecake was not set properly and I think they used sweetened condensed milk for it and the cheesecake tasted like sour milk and when we brought our concern regarding the cheesecake the server started debating us on the quality and how it was made fresh however I would beg to differ. However, we did order some waffles and it was beyond delicious although it was $7 for one waffle and the steak was cooked well and was juicy. read more
