Today was probably my last meal from Jim's. Food has always been good. I remember coming here when I was in high school over 15 years ago and it always felt welcoming until today. Filip the manager became very rude about my order and indirectly called me stupid. Ordered a jr combo just to get a burger charged. Then I asked if I can pay the difference and got charged nearly 6$ more for an order of fries. When I mentioned we always order the same thing his quick response was to let me know that his cashier has been working here for a couple of months and it's not like he's a newbie. I wanted to say well it's not like it's my first time ever making this order but I decided not to escalate since I can tell he was already high strung about it. Then he goes about his business micromanaging and being micro aggressive with his employees. I apologized to his employees about it all and I can see they also felt bad about his behavior. Filip word of advice since I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be the last customer you lose or has a bad experience with you but sometimes reading the situation without an ego or defensive and aggressive stance can save you money or make you more money rather than losing regular customers. Treat your customers better as well as your employees. Or turn a blind eye and fail as a business owner or remain a miserable person as well. Life's about choices. read more

Make sure you know exactly what you want to order and don't change your mind. Seriously. Don't ask questions, don't make adjustments, and definitely don't take too long at the register, unless you want an attitude with your burger. I've been coming here for a long time with my husband and kids. The food has always been great, and it's one of our regular spots. But today, it was just me and my two kids and the customer service was honestly awful. As soon as I stepped up to order, the woman cashier (who I believe is the owner) had an attitude with me from the start. At the same time, her husband (also an owner) was arguing with the man in front of me, who took a long time ordering & looking at the menu. When the customer asked, "Why the attitude?", the owner responded: "You know what makes me mad? You act like you're not a regular and you come here all the time." That's wild to say to any paying customer. Whether someone comes daily or once a year, they have the right to take a second to look at the menu without being treated like an inconvenience. When it was my turn, I originally ordered a junior special, but then my son changed his mind. So I said, "Actually, can we do the regular cheeseburger special. The cashier's whole energy shifted ,more eye rolls, short answers, and clear irritation. When I asked if I could add chili, she snapped: "We don't put chili on burgers." I repeated, "You don't put chili on burgers?" And she responded, "Oh, you mean chili cheese?" Yes... obviously. A plain cheeseburger with chili and cheese. That's not some wild request, people customize their burgers all the time. If that's too much to handle, maybe a burger joint isn't the right business to be in. To top it off, she never canceled my original junior special order so I ended up being charged for an extra combo. I saw it on the receipt while waiting for my food, but by that point, I didn't even want to bring it up. The energy was already bad, and I knew saying anything else would just make it worse. Dealing with different customers and personalities every day is exhausting. But no matter how frustrating it gets, you can't let one customer ruin the experience for the next. That's just not how customer service works. Especially not in a restaurant setting. In the past, I've always had great service from the other cashiers, they're polite and professional. Even the husband has seemed friendly before. But today, something was clearly off, and it showed. read more

The prices are extremely comfortable. I got the $13 burger chili cheese fries and fountain drink combo. The cheese on the chili cheese fries doesnt melt and overall flavor is mild. The burger was great. My partner got a blt and it only had like 3 pieces of bacon. read more

I recently visited Jim Burgers and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience. While waiting for my food, I noticed what appeared to be several bugs in the kitchen area. Seeing that completely turned me off and made me question the cleanliness of the space. I understand that things can happen, but cleanliness is extremely important when it comes to food service. Because of what I saw, I didn't feel comfortable eating there and don't plan on returning. I hope management takes sanitation more seriously moving forward. read more

By no means is this a place that you should rush to let alone bookmark to fulfill your fatty food dreams, but if you're in the area then this place has a chill diner type feel with way more than just burgers and fries. I found out that they also serve breakfast! Solid patty melts and junior cheeseburgers from the griddle at Jim's Burgers. I'm not so crazy about their mostly limp fries which are on the thicker side. The staff was very friendly on 1/6/21. We had just gotten back from snow tubing fun in Running Springs, so we were famished! The news of the breaching of our nation's Capitol was on their telly in the lobby. Keep in mind that at this time, it's takeout orders only due to COVID restrictions. So sad because I would totally enjoy dining here in their little booths. The patty melt was scrumptious with gooey melted cheese and sautéed onions. This was all I ordered as my girls had plenty of fries to share and I had drinks at home. My girls both enjoyed their cheeseburger combos - both totally different and cooked to order! This is the second time I come here and will be the last. The first time I came a few years ago, the food was great. However, today the food was lacking in taste and quality. The burger patties are so thin you can't even taste them in between the buns (see picture). Do not order the Beef Teriyaki, they downsized the entire portion, eliminated the salad that used to come with it and the Teriyaki Sauce is horrible--completely changed from before. Went here for lunch one day and got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. They had an image on display inside their restaurant next the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. You can see that the chicken in the image was an actual chicken breast or thigh, which caught my attention. However upon receiving my meal, I was disappointed. I have been coming to this business for almost 30 years since I was 14 years old. I have never experienced the worst customer service experience here until now. I am assuming she is the new owner got so upset with me for not knowing the name of the menu plates and was rolling her eyes, shaking her head, and was huffing and puffing. I was with my 4 year old granddaughter. That type of owner has no business running an establishment if she is treating customers so bad because we don't know the menu. Jim's burger changed ownership. Nice Christian man running the place, though he lacked friendliness when we saw him on a busy night before closing. The really skinny Asian lady is pretty rude. She talks down to customers. The older Asian lady ( maybe a mom) is super sweet. The rest of the crew is ok. The restroom looks nasty with graffiti all over. Inside of the restaurant is really clean and looks nice. Best thing is the Cheeseburger. One of the best ones in town. Chili cheese fries ok, not the best.
