I highly reccomend this place to everyone. Especially for their gluten-free pizza. I have found no other place that sells gluten-free pizza this delicous. Not only is the pizza great, but the service is fantastic! They are always smiling and make sure your pizza is perfect for you. I always tend to go to Pieology whenever I am around the area and I am always satisfied with the pizza and service whenever I walk out the door. Sure, there can be times when there is a long line, but thats nothing to fear because their efficient and fast employees get the job done in no time. Surprisingly very delicious. I went here thinking it was a site down pizzeria, but it was not. This place reminded be of Subway for for pizza. I stood in a short line then i was them make the pizza crust using dough and a machine that flattens the dough. Then I get to choose my sauce. The herb butter was pretty good. Then i get to pick all my toppings (just like Subway). I could add any topping and there was no extra charge. Seating was self serve (like subway). Afterwards they brought the pizza to our table. It was very good and reasonably priced. After I was done I looked online and realized this was a franchise. I love this spot. I love the workers they are so sweet and they make me feel like I am at home. My husband and I always go there and have lunch. Everybody is really nice to us. It is always clean and the workers are always on top of making sure that everybody has a nice, clean area to eat at. The food is fantastic. One of the best pizza's I have ever had. Use to come here alot, came on Monday for their $6 dollar pizza. The normal staff wasnt there, the ones that are friendly and fast. This new staff is slow and rude. My family and I ordered our pizzas, picked our toppings after waiting 20 minutes for them to finish. Went up to the register to pay, all we had was a $100 dollar bill and was told they couldn't accept it. There was NO sign visible that said "cant accept bills over $20". So 3 pizzas were wasted. First time going there. Worst customer service. The girl there was more interested in her conversation about what time she was getting out instead of taking my order. She sprayed grease on the dough like half of the can. Will never go there again. They need employees that know customer service. I got a handful not a sprinkle of garlic literally! More crust choices here... They took more time with the sauce and cheese (compared to Blaze). Less toppings than Blaze, and comparatively, I think they both are similar in taste, Pieology had a crispier crust. The pesto topping is good. Delicious! I love that their crust is thin and it's ready in 15 minutes or less! I also love that I can put as many toppings as I'd like and it'd still cost as much if I just put 1 topping. We came in closer to their closing time and the line was still long! It turns out that the CrossFit Games were in town. There were a lot of muscular people eating pizzas and cinnamon bread slices. That's another plus for this establishment--cinnamon bread slices. FYI: It is stale the next day. On the other hand, the pizza tastes just as good as leftover the next morning. read more

I loooove pieology! I think they put more of the toppings compared to blaze! Blaze gets really cheap when putting in toppings. I love how it's customizable and only $8 for as many toppings as you want. Service is a little all over the place. They should focus more on the customers and the orders rather than messing around with each other. Got a to go and was in a hurry so I didn't check if the order was right when I opened the box there was no bbq sauce! The food was good. The service was bad. The young lady making the pizza was impatient and seemed unhappy. She immediately got on her cell phone once she rushed us thru making our pizza. The tables were dirty and probably have been for a while since the restaurant was empty. 8 people behind the counter hanging out and 4 dirty tables on a Friday night. The employees didn't seem as productive as they could be. Even when the pizza was brought over to our dirty table the employee just dropped it off and walked away before we could say thank you. My brother and I came here to order our pizzas. I get to the register and Joe D. Would not give me the $6 special because my brother did not stand in line and order his own pie. I explained that he is disabled and needed to sit down. He did not have the strength to stand in line and wait to be serviced. You could visibly see my brother sitting down with canes in his hand! I pointed to my brother and he waived to Joe showing him that he was with me. I even went over to him and got the credit card to pay for the pizzas. Joe would still not honor the $6 per person pizza deal. Joe stated "well he needed to be in line and since he isn't you don't get the discount." My brother has sat down plenty of times and other employees have given us the discounts. We also have came in with his wheelchair and stayed off to the side so we don't block the doors. The servers still honored their deal. I'm not sure why they chose to employ Joe but pieology just lost an every Monday customer. read more

This is actually one of the better Pieology's that I have been to. My friend and I had a couple questions about the pizza and the guy at the first station was very friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't detect the usual eyeroll and sass that you get when you have to ask a question at places, so this was very refreshing. They didn't go easy on the toppings so I felt every bite I took I got a little bit of everything, yum! Also, they were pretty speedy. Other locations I've been to seem to take way longer to get it together, and the pizza was cooked to perfection. read more

So until her elimination diet is over, we're testing different places. The staff was great with her order(having to order gluten free crust and dairy free cheese). Because Pieology was the buzz - I wanted to try it out, but the Lakewood location was the closest to me & I hardly go to that area anymore, so instead I opted to try another place called PizzaRev in El Segundo. I fell in love with the concept & was ecstatic that Carson would finally have a Pieology in town. Unfortunately, once I was able to try it - I was disappointed. I was not blown away at all. The staff is super friendly even during a busy lunch hour, and the pizza was ok. However, in comparison to my usual DIY pizza place - Pieology lacked the amount and quality of condiments and toppings available that PizzaRev offered. Perhaps in the future they will provide more options/toppings then I will give 4 stars but for now - food was ok but definitely not anything spectacular. read more

I had the worst experience I have ever had!!!! The manager was sooo rude. When I asked a question he mocked me. His name was Joe.

I'd give it half a star if I could just for the simple fact I got a pizza. First off, the person boxing the pizza and the people handing out the pizza may need to be reevaluated and just have the clean the bathrooms because they were doing a HORRIBLE job. I am not a mean person, but the service was good till about the time the pizza hit the oven. After that, I noticed our friend got her pizzas so it's only right to assume ours should be next. Believe it or not, the people behind me and my other friend got there pizzas next, and then a few others behind us all started getting there pizza.. Then all of a sudden, they start going up to my other friend and I who were behind my first friend and started asking us if these were our pizzas. HELLO, we gave our names, so why didn't you just call it out. Anyways, after about 26 minutes, I finally got my pizza that was sitting for a while because it was just there and they weren't handing it out... Also, once revieved, they didn't even add the after bake toppings. And my last friends pizza some how warped into the black hole and we had to wait for another 8-12 minutes or so for his new pizza to be rebuilt and baked. This was just a horrible experience, and will never come back to this location ever again. And did I forget to mention that the first friends pizzas were not hers and we had already left and are at the house. Only come here if you'd love to be disappointed because they sure do a good job. Lastly, what even makes me despise this place even more was when I bit into the pizza, the damn wooden stick was in it and I almost choked. DONT EVER COME TO THIS LOCATION! Just make the trip to Lakewood where they actually do the job. And to the district managers... Hire people that know what they are doing. Will never come back to this location.. read more
