Went in for the Friday the 13th piercing deal and had a terrible experience. I asked for a vertical…read morelabret and the piercer didn't even clean my lip or remove my makeup before piercing. When she marked the placement I told her TWICE that it looked crooked and she kept saying "no you're perfect." Well... it came out extremely crooked just like I said it would. She also gave me a ridiculously long bar. I understand leaving room for swelling, but this bar was so long it literally looked like an eyebrow piercing sticking out of my lip. The aftercare advice was also completely wrong. She told me to clean it with water and Dial soap instead of saline or saltwater, which is standard piercing aftercare. She pierced my friend's nose too and gave him a bar that was too short with no room for swelling. He even asked if she had a longer bar and she said no and pierced him anyway. I gave her the benefit of the doubt at first, but I went to another piercer for a second opinion and they confirmed everything: the placement is crooked, the jewelry is wrong, and the aftercare advice was bad. She was nice, but the service and piercing quality were terrible. I would not recommend getting pierced here.

I found Will on Instagram through using hashtags and I found his work to be nothing shy of AMAZING! I had a consultation with him two weeks before we actually set the date for me to get tatted. He informed me that he doesn't draw up the concept until the morning of and quite frankly......I see why! He's a busy man AND if he were to draw it up at your request then he'd only be drawing and never tattooing!! The day I arrived for my tatt I was SUUUPER nervous! So much so that I couldn't sleep properly the night before. Will and his wife were there when I arrived and he and his wife are EXTREMELY personable! Talking with them felt natural. Will is the only artist in his shop and it makes for a very intimate setting which also calmed my nerves. The shop is also very clean. The machine he used was a Cheyenne Nova pen which was GREAT!!! It was extremely low on noise and I could barely hear it. I LOVED that too!! The conversation was natural and he made sure to keep me engaged in conversation as I displayed my discomfort and pain on certain areas...because let's me honest....tattoos hurt! Lol. But, this tattoo didn't hurt nearly as much as my first or as much as it could have! I didn't use any numbing cream but his wife did inform me that it's available for next time if needed.
