I…read moredidn't have to wait 4 months for an appointment as I would have with the instagram model club. Instead I chose a real industry expert that knew what would look fabulous even if I didn't. As a newbie to any permanent makeup and a tattoo, microblading virgin, I was understandably nervous . There was timely communication from first contact to appointment to confirmation. I knew exactly what to expect with masking and sanitation protocols for our safety throughout. Jane calmed my anxiety by explaining the entire process and each step as she artfully, safely, patiently and with the expertise of a professional in her craft since 1994, executed gorgeous, natural looking brows for me. She started like a Dr with medical history paperwork, taking my whole of humanity into consideration prior to getting into the meat and potatoes of the procedure which I appreciated! Jane assessed my face/canvas and drew what she believed would be beautiful for my structure and let me see for agreement. We proceeded to the microblading process and I feel it couldn't have gone better with knowing which parts would be painful vs rest breaks and the tlc I felt from Jane considering all my allergies and well being. I'm thrilled with the result and excited to see how the artfully crafted brows will look after healed. I had overplucked them in the past and they were uneven and thinned out. Penciling them in hasn't always produced an even well manicured effect. Embarrassing at times. Those worries are now over. I'd definitely recommend Jane as a real trained professional in this industry over a fad instagram star. She has an abundance of personality and whimsical charm. If that doesn't appeal to you, may not be a good fit. Thank you Jane for giving me that balanced brow look and complete feeling I didn't know I was missing from my forehead You're a rare gem and I hope the yelp verse and community supports you and your independent business. My experience with her recently has changed however…read more Shortly after I got my second full set (3 years ago) I have been unhappy with the tail end of one of my eyebrows being noticeably thicker. I've always just used makeup to even them out. Since its started to fade, it's gotten even more noticeable and bothersome, especially in pictures, as one eyebrow is consequently more arched. I never knew you could remove microblade until recently when my friend told me. As soon as I learned about this option, I asked Tia if she could help me and remove a couple strokes towards the tail end of my eyebrow. She immediately tried to discredit my concerns and said it looks like this because I haven't maintained my annual "color boosts" appointments. She told me I must sleep on the thinner eyebrow, which is not true. There has never been ink that thick on the other eyebrow, and it's always been slightly thinner. She recommended getting a full set WITH removal at the same time, but warned me that it will possibly remove new ink as well so I will have to come back to get it re-done shortly after. I asked her if I could just get it removed first, then come back for the full set after - that way I dont have to damage my skin back to back and risk my eyebrows looking messed up. She said if I do that route, it will be $300 per session and will probably consist of multiple sessions. $300 is what she charges for 2 FULL eyebrow removals and I only need a fraction of that. I would've paid half, but $300 is greedy! I can get 3 laser removal sessions for $100! Clearly she was trying to manipulate me into getting a full set so she can get more money upfront, without regards for my concerns. Why would I want to rush a process that is PERMANENTLY on my face? Overall I truly felt that she only cares about money, not the long term satisfaction of a customer that has never let anyone else touch their eyebrows. I felt penalized for not keeping up with "annual color boosts". I would have continued being her customer too, but I expect someone who actually cares about my concerns and doesn't try to minimize and invalidate them - even if they seem small or stupid to you. It's MY face and I notice this eyebrow every day. Very disappointing.

Hello to all tattoo lovers....this shop is a "Top Notch" shop in the valley. I've seen a lot of shops in my day and this is one of the best. I'ts clean and they listened to exactly what i wanted. I looked through all the portfolios of all the artists and it was a really hard decision to make. I would let any one of them tattoo me. My tattoo is way bad ass, the shading and colors are freakin perfect! I love love my tattoo from Double Down and if any of you are looking for a shop to get your first tattoo or that sleeve you've been dying to get...this is your place. OH MY GOD!!! Let me start off by saying, this is the cleanest tattoo shop I have been into in a long while. The guys are all so friendly and nice!! I felt super comfortable from the second I walked in. I also loved that there are 2 women that work there, that made me feel at ease. The one lady, the owner I think, her name was Noelle, she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable while I waited. She even gave me a free drink from the vending machine for my patience. My tattoo AND piercing were both exactly what I asked for. I just cant' believe how friendly and professional these people are!! I highly recommend talking to Dick and Morgan! I was helped as soon as i walked in the door, David was very helpful in answering all of my questions, he really does know alot and more importantly care about his work, He showed me how they sterilize their tools, and he even showed me the two separate rooms they use to keep things clean. I would never think of going to anywhere but "Double Down tattoo", for the simple fact that before Jessie owned his own shop, I have been exclusively seeing him as my own tattooist's for 3 years.
