When I went to pick up the ring, I was informed--after the work was already completed--that additional prongs had been replaced on both sides of the ring and that I now owed an extra $240. I was never contacted, informed, or asked for approval before this additional work was done. The explanation given was that some of the prong work was necessary due to resizing. However, after waiting over 40 minutes at pickup because the ring was "in billing," I was then told the resize had actually been forgotten entirely and had to be done on the spot. This made the justification for the unapproved prong work even more concerning. After calling twice and initially being brushed off by sales associates, I finally spoke with the owner, who acknowledged that I had not consented to the extra work and agreed to waive the additional charge. While I appreciate the owner ultimately correcting the billing, the situation itself should never have occurred. Jewelry--especially a wedding band--is deeply personal. Any additional work, design changes, or charges should never be performed without explicit customer approval. Between the unapproved services, forgotten resize, and billing delay, the experience felt disorganized and stressful. I would urge future customers to proceed with caution, insist on written estimates, and require approval before any additional work is done.

Our other sister recommended Banter By Piercing Pagoda located in the Del Amo Fashion Center. She's taken her daughter here to get her ears done and had a great experience. She made the appointment for the both of us. I don't know if they take walk-ins. It is a counter that is located on the first floor behind the escalator where you can see Din Tai Fung on the second floor. The person working at the time was called Janna. She greeted us right away and showed us the selection of earrings strictly used for piercing. I decided to go with my birthstone. Janna had me sit in the chair located on the right side of their display of jewelry. She carefully marked where the earrings would go and then made sure that I was satisfied with the placement. Before I knew it, the procedure was done. The pain was tolerable and it didn't linger like I thought it would. After she finished working on my sister, Janna took the time to explain the after-care. We were given hypochlorous acid spray to use twice a day for 4 weeks. She showed us how to properly clean the area and emphasized the importance of doing this to prevent an infection. Overall, I would recommend this place. I am already looking forward to getting another piercing done. My sister and I had a great experience. Thank you, Janna, for doing an awesome job!
