I was told that I would have to pay for the repair and replacement of the wire which I never authorized in the first service, which I informed her it should have never been replaced because I had only asked for the silver lobster claw addition to my necklace. To make it worse she said that the guy who did it wasn't around and that it might take up to two weeks to get it back! Or maybe I could just go to the Lakewood location... I told her that I had been trying to call the store. I told her I've been calling her location in Downey but the number is disconnected... She tried to give me the 10% coupon and was as pleasant as possible, I didn't get angry nor fight, I simply informed her that it's okay I had already left a negative review about the situation but had hoped for a solution not involving me to further pay for this gentleman's mistake. I didn't leave my necklace nor feel inclined to pay more for terrible Overpriced services. She kindly replied to the review comment that I could go to Michael's and buy the wire myself for next to nothing (which is true and what I did as a solution) compared to what fast fix charges. I paid $10 at Michael's for a 96 strand wire and it took 15 minutes to reassemble the necklace without the tools typically required. I did my best to keep things in a positive light for myself and fast fix but the store has failed to provide good/quality material and service. A short time later I received a call and voicemail from a number I didn't recognize and forgot about it until today when I realized that someone had reached out to discuss this. Read it yourself, as if I'm in trouble and must call this person back. No thanks, I tried in person and was already further let down as a paying customer. I owe fast fix nothing and the service is reflected honestly in my review. It's their reputation and responsibility to make things right. I am sure that I was called in regard to taking my review down, but it shall remain to inform the public because it is too little and too late. Seriously my concerns have been swept under the rug. I feel that I was already taken advantage of by the overpriced service, the lack of communication, the fact that an inferior product has replaced the superior product it came with and that the warranty is laughable. Lastly to be told it's wear and tear on a light weight product is ludicrous. I've had this necklace for years and the original wire never broke or frayed but it's my fault when I barely wear it. It's okay, I already started talking to my lawyer friends about this matter. I would have been better on fast fix to resolve this matter by actually taking care of me as a customer while the review alone is already costing them for unfair dismissal and practice. He told me he's able to remove about 90% of stuck rings but would need to see it in person. I came in, and he had it off in under five minutes. He was incredibly professional, gentle, and there was zero pain. When I asked how much I owed him, he told me he only charges to fix or make things, not to break them. They sanitized my daughter's ears, let her pick out the earrings she wanted (good variety of 14k gold/white gold), and did the two ears at once since they had both staff present. They use a gun like device that pinches the earring in versus a thick needle. It was done within seconds. My daughter was given a certificate for bravery and tiara as well. I am so grateful to the amazing team at Coby Madison for repairing my wedding rings. One night I could not get my rings off no matter what I did! My finger even got swollen from trying to get my rings off. The next morning, I went into Coby Madison and was greeted by James. I explained my situation and he looked at my finger and right away noticed that it was swollen. He said he could help with cutting the rings off. He was able to get them off quickly, and although I was relieved to get them off after being stuck, I also felt sad that they had to be cut off. While getting the rings cut off, I got hot due to being nervous and James had me take a seat and gave me some water. I really appreciated how kind he was and that he understood having my rings cut off can be a bit emotional. Since my finger was swollen, I had to wait until the swelling went down to return to be sized for my rings to be repaired. James provided me with a bag to keep the rings safe. I returned two weeks later to make sure the swelling was completely gone. This time I was helped by Linda and she was amazing. She had me try on different rings to make sure we got the correct ring size. She provided me with options on how I could repair my wedding ring if I needed to change the design. She informed me that the store has a texting system which makes communicating with their customers easier. This really was convenient for me to get updates on the repairs for my rings. They had originally informed me that it could take 3-4 weeks depending on how many orders they are working on, so I was pleasantly surprised when my rings were ready in two weeks. I felt so naked without my rings, so I was happy that they had them ready quicker than expected. My rings came out great and fit perfectly! They also looked clean and sparkly.
