Brought family visiting from Canada who are very knowledgeable with Ukrainian food & pierogi's, in particular. They were very impressed! Ordered two pierogi sampler plates, one beef and pork dumplings, and one bowl of butternut squash soup. Finished with a slice of honey sour cream cake. Everything was delicious, and our entire party was blown away by the food quality and taste. Andre was an amazing host, and we all felt very welcome there. We live a bit north of here, but after reading the reviews, we had to try it. As we sat down, Andre welcomed us and offered us drinks. They serve 3 different kinds of Ukrainian beers. I tried the lightest one and it was delicious. The menu offers all of my favorites from growing up with Ukrainian grandparents who instilled our love of this food. We ordered the 10 piece sampler plate and the potato pancakes which were on special. The sampler plate had 5 different kinds of pierogis with chicken schnitzel (flavor bomb) and kielbasa. More than enough for one person. Then the potato pancakes came out fried crunchy on the edges with sour cream. Best I've ever had. We were so full that we ordered the sour cherry tart and the sour cream cake to go along with frozen pierogis, carrot and garlic salad (OMG), beet salad, pickled cucumbers and the cherry pierogis. Outstanding service from our server (didn't catch his name as he was very busy, recipt says " Training T"). Anyway, he was very helpful, kind and informative. We arrived just after they opened. The inside is very small with about 3 tables but it appears to be big on take out or take home and heat up. They also have a table out front for dining. We decided to start with the 10 piece Perogi sampler ($27) and a medium Mushroom Soup ($7). Our server brought us a couple of small samples of the soups to try prior to us ordering. The only issue with the sampler was us trying to figure out which was which kind of Pierogi (perhaps a little flag to let us know which is which?) We also ordered an amber lager Eukranian beer, "Avorske",in a tall bottle, that was quite delicious. We ended up taking home a Napolean dessert that was quite tasty. We had the sampler plate and everything we had was delicious. The mushroom soup was also outstanding. We even went back 2 days later and bought alot of frozen Pierogis to take home. The food takes me back to the summers I spent with my grandparents and the meals my grandma would make. Take the time and stop by and enjoy the pierogies and a beverage. Small strip mall store. Grandma's recipes are great. I had the lamb dumpling that I liked, then I tried my wife's potato pierogi and liked it better, then I tried the potato, sauerkraut, and bacon pierogi and it was the best. The potato salad is wonderful and the borscht was very good. Nice staff and pretty quick service. Prices were pretty normal for today. We took home some frozen pierogi and potato salad. What a find for pierogi lovers in Flagler Beach! We were so happy to find this wonderful restaurant by chance. We were warmly welcomed and seated immediately in the bright and airy space. We enjoyed the live stream of Flagler Beach as we looked over the diverse offerings on the menu. We ordered drinks and tried a free sample of their delicious borscht while selecting our meal. Our party of four ordered both sampler plates to share that included a great assortment of pirogies, chicken schnitzel and homemade kielbasa and small salads. We also ordered dumplings and a cup of borscht. The food arrived quickly and piping hot. We thoroughly enjoyed everything with each of us having a favorite. We also ordered various desserts to share and loved each selection but agreed the Napoleon was our favorite!
