Imagine your teeth chipping away only on one side. My husband always felt self-conscious about his smile. Hubby asked Dr. Wallace what he could do about his smile. Dr. Wallace gave him all new teeth. I do not know the technical terms.. idk if they are veneers or caps or?? Hubby's teeth were shaved down to little bits. Then the new teeth were put on over the former teeth. I don't know what this process is called, I simply call it amazing!! When I learn the words, I will update this review. Johnny, my hubby, smiles all of the time. This was a few years ago and this review is long overdue. Johnny also loves Matt Wallace's personality. They both love surfing and have a love of UFOs or X-files. Anyways, Matt Wallace is top notch. No, that's not all!!! Here is my story. My story is about Stacy. Stacy is THE MOST AMAZING DENTAL HYGENIST that ever walked the face of the earth. She only works there on Fridays, I believe. Why is she so amazing, you ask?? I have issues. I gag a lot. I forget to breathe. Perhaps, it is being at the dentist anxiety, IDK. I always feel embarrassed during and after my visits. I still visit the dentist every 6 months even though I have/had this issue. First of all Stacey is calm. If I start to get gaggy, she has me do yoga nose. It is a breathing technique that calms me down. The way that she uses that scraping utensil and the water tool are truly minimally invasive. Prior to Stacey, when the scraping part is occurring it just sounds so loud. The sound is my equivalent to nails on a chalkboard for me. It was a purely god awful sound. Stacy's technique does not come with these awful sound effects. She is calm. She makes me feel calm. She has a TV in the room that is on. It doesn't have sound, it is a way to distract one's self. I don't even need to look at it anymore. When there are chances to chat, we chat about travel. We love hearing about each other's adventures. You are probably thinking, this place cannot get any better.. Well it does. I love the office staff. As I was leaving yesterday, I shared some really great personal news. They all listened intently and cared about me. They clapped, and said they were so happy for me. I had a happy cry. I also love Dr. Liang. He also loves travelling. He is a kind dentist who checks in on me on my Friday visits. SIf you are searching for your new dentists and dental hygienists, this is THE place to go.

"CT scans product more radiation than simple x-rays and we don't want to expose our patients to any more radiation than absolutely necessary." I didn't consider that, but it opened up my eyes to the thoughtfulness that the Doctors pay attention to when treating their patients. For context: I have avoided the dentist for years (regrettably and stupidly) and decided to finally come in to get an exam, to which they made me aware of the many cavities I had. The estimated services as well as my first examination, were definitely pricy, even with insurance. After the initial consultation, it made sense to me to hold off to try and save up for all the work I needed done. Once I eventually came in, Dr. Kane proceeded to interrogate me on why I did not schedule an appointment sooner, basically telling me I need to get my finances in order to get the work I needed done (which all makes total sense!). I explained that I am only working part-time at the moment since I am also going to school, so saving up takes a little longer than it would if I was only working--Dr. Kane was not satisfied with this response and continued to pry + lecture me. Although his intent seemed good, the delivery felt invasive. I did not appreciate him prying into my financial status, then proceeding to lecture me on finances/getting dental work done and then telling me I need to get my parents involved to help me pay; he even had the front desk give me a HIPAA form for my parents to sign and offered to call them personally. I understand the intention with wanting to help but Dr. Kane made me feel ashamed for taking a few months to get the funds needed for very expensive dental work. I am uncomfortable with making my parents fork over money for my self-inflicted issues, yet Dr. Kane was very insistent on getting them involved. I liked the practice up until this point. I don't deserve nor appreciate being shamed for not having an extra couple thousand dollars on hand! Additionally (and unrelated the previous experience), the front office has the tendency to call upwards of 5 times, with voicemails and texts to follow in one day just to confirm an appointment. I think a single call, with a single voicemail would suffice.

From the start, his focus was on what would benefit me in the long run, not just a quick fix. I had a root canal and two extractions on the same side. Initially, the plan was to do a bridge, but Dr. Lee went out of his way to save one of my teeth and recommended a better long-term solution. He even included a dental implant to set me up for the future, so when the root canal tooth eventually needs to come out, we'll be able to bridge both implants together. That level of foresight and care really meant a lot to me. His staff is also incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, which made the entire experience much more comfortable. Dr. Lee genuinely has your best interest in mind, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist who truly cares about long-term results.
