Some places surprise you - man, oh man, did this one knock it out of the park. Very dingey-appearing dive-bar but take a look at the walls and you'll realize this place has got some HISTORY and CHARACTER. Lots of fun trinkets all over, super beautiful space with three stories - not to mention the food was DELICIOUS. We got the Baja Chihuahua and Thai Chicken pizzas - both super unique flavor profiles and cooked to perfection. THAT PEANUT SAUCE ON THE THAI CHICKEN ugh to die for. My cousin got a soft pretzel appetizer too - which deceivingly came with three pretzels for the price of what would only get you one at the Raven's game and they were QUALITY. And the whole 2-beer glass thing is wonderfully fun, and allowed us to split two different ones with ease. Overall an all-time favorite. I'll be back!

First time trying their carry out and I'm surprised I didn't know about this place before! We live right around the corner, so just walked over to grab three of their pizzas: cajun dog, veggie dog and wing dog. All three were fantastic. The prices are very reasonable, ingredients are fresh, and pizzas are well seasoned. I like that the base and crust were thin and fluffy. Just the right amount of cheese. We will definitely be coming back for more! We didn't dine in so can't really comment on the space, but based on a quick look around I thought it was cozy, cute little bar. Clean. They seem to have restaurant style seating in the back.

After 9long pregnancy months, we made a bucket list for pub visits & Pub Dog was at the top of the list because the quality beer & pizza options smothered in feta cheese Walking from the hospital, about 30mins, it was a wonderful stroll to the area, but there is ample street parking in the area, so not hard to visit. Again, what I love about Pub Dog, in general, is the huge selection of cheap beer; excellent base beers creating endless combination possibilities- this particular visit, though I was craving my go-to Unleased & Black Dog, I was intrigued by their summer tropicals, creating Unleashed & Pineapple Ale and a Black & Tropical; both excellent crisp citra juicy combinations I also love the personal artisan pizzas; we've pretty much run through the entire menu in our years of visiting, and there isn't a bad pie, but I was super happy to return to my favorite order Mr. Green Jeans (loaded with feta chunks, fresh olives, and fresher spinach) It was a gorgeous day to sit outside, on their picnic table patio area, we loved enjoying the weather with quality drinks & eats. The waitress was super friendly, allowing some tasters of the new brews & checking in on us

We were excited to try Pub Dog as we heard great things about their pizza from friends. We came in and had a perfect seat next to their cozy fire place. Our waitress was extremely attentive and kind and let us try a few different beers to sample, but when she brought over the sample, there was fresh lipstick stains on my glass. Then when we received our pizza (which was very good!) there was a piece if plastic on top of one of the pies. They definitely need to work on their cleanliness. Not sure if I'd ever return here even though the service/food was great as those two instances grossed me out :/

I ate here for several years while working in federal hill they went from having fantastic food to absolute trash. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it's like I'm eating a box of oil the pizza is super soggy, and the whole bottom crust is just super saturated in oil it's not even edible at this point. I will never eat here again I bought this pizza just to throw it in the trash

Can't remember the last time I was here but came here on a Friday night. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks which came out two per order (awesome!). I got the hard cider first and then the iced tea later but 4 drinks for the price of 2 can't be beat. We also each got a pizza - Chicken Pesto for me while he got a Dog Pound. The chicken pesto was great and the crust wasn't too thick. I also tried a slice of the dog pound which was full of meat and quite good as well. A casual place to hang out with friends. The bartenders are friendly and drinks and pizzas are good all at a very reasonable price.

Went here late night after Os game. I believe the bartender was also waitressing. She was killing it. Beers were great, we split pizzas... all good. Highly recommend...

Love their pizza and beers. Federal hill is such a nice little area where you can grab a bite to eat, grab a beer and walk around. Cross street market is right across the street and the orioles stadium and ravens stadium isn't far away either. I tried a variety of their pizza and my favorite is still their margarita pizza and their pupperoni. For beers I usually go for the white dog or the blonde dog. Note: no dogs allowed anymore inside. Just found that out last week.

It's a doggy dog world. Seriously, everything here is named after dogs. So forgive me if I forget a couple names of the beers, they are two for $4.50. Sharing is caring when purchasing a beer and getting two, is one for me and one for you! We ordered the beers, lotsa of them as you can see from my pics. They are all pretty much fantastic, some light and some heavier with blends in between. I didn't meet a beer I didn't like. So we started with the pretzel, a favorite of mine. Compliments are spicy mustard and pretzel salt. So tasty I took the remaining pretzels back with me! The pizza we ordered was the Atomic Dog, yet without the hot sauce and peppers which my guy didn't want. It was so good and so cheap. The whole bill was way less than we spent anywhere for dinner, even with many rounds of beer. I guess it's great to be down with the dogs.

Service was perfection. The interior has a great dark wood/chandelier, old-school bar vibe and comfortable seating without it being too noisy when packed. There is some signage about the poet himself. We started of with the "cheese dip" which is an interesting way to describe a pretzel appetizer. But boy howdy, the cheese dip was enormous, which complemented the salty, buttery pretzels perfectly. The stuffed lamb was pretty reasonably priced and came with spinach and potatoes. Both that and the strip steak were a bit heavy on the sauce though, but otherwise, great dishes. Don't forget to swing by the bathroom. I just really like the posters in the hallway. The bathrooms were nice though. Overall, this is a reasonably-priced, inviting atmosphere, and tasty good. Great spot for the area.

I also got a mushroom lasagna and it didn't feel hot enough/ didn't taste amazing after the first few bites. But hoping it's a one off and would like to try some other things. We weren't the biggest fan of the chicken sandwich (I think it was called the chicken royale?) we got either- it just didn't work with the combination inside the sandwich. Because of the 2 dishes not really hitting the mark but fish and chips are great id give it between 3 & 4 stars!
