The food was delicious! If I were rating only the food, I would rate this place as a five-star establishment. However, I will not patronize this business again due to the extreme rudeness of the OWNER. We order at the counter and serve our own drinks. I ordered $39 worth of food which included; 10 wings and 6 slices of pizza. We were given 1 small peel top container of ranch dressing which wouldn't actually be sufficient for ten wings but definitely not enough for those young children who prefer ranch on their pizza. I also gave them a $5 tip since they would be bringing the food to our table. I asked for another ranch and was told "that's $.35 for one or $.75 for 2 (yeah, that's rocket math). I said, "seriously, we ordered $39 worth of good a left a tip for $5, couldn't you give me one more to accommodate our amount of food? It could mean the difference between me coming here again and not?" He rudely replied "no man, $.35!" I said "hold on, I usually don't have any cash with me, let me check ". After my 2 adult daughters and I all checked our wallets and found no change or cash, I said "I can't put $.35 on my card, seriously, one pack of ranch after $44 purchase?" He slammed it on the counter and sharply said "here, take it lady!" I gave it back and said "now I don't want it and I will definitely not be back here! ". He only wanted to provide one to go box when we asked for three. He started clearing our table without asking if we were done. Never once said you're welcome when we said thank you for the containers. We arrived at 115 pm and saw they close at 2 but was told no problem. They closed at two, we left at 5 till. Visited today after reading reviews on here. As stated in other reviews Google maps had us lost but I switched to Waze and it took us right there. Definitely worth the little bit of confusion to get there. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had bbq pizza, wings and cheesticks, all of which were amazing. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area. read more

The pizza is very good, but their hours are inconsistent. They hardly ever open on time and many times they won't answer the phone. I just drove 20 minutes to be there at 4:30 p.m. (when they open) only to find out they are closed for a week. What kind of successful pizza place is closed as much as this place. read more

Their wings are the best I have found in middle Georgia since moving here. They smoke them like a place I used to love to stop by in Huntsville Alabama. The staff was very helpful and made us feel welcomed. Wish I had found this place sooner. Be careful navigating with your iPhone though. YES - the BBQ pizza is so good - it is amazing that their bbq tastes so good - they should also sell just BBQ. The prices are lower than expected. The food is always fresh. Lunch specials are a bargain. The only negatives for this place are their strange hours and location. Excellent BBQ. Small place tucked away at the end of a strip center. Had trouble deciding on the bbq or pizza because that also looked really good. Prices are reasonable and well worth it. If I'm ever in Macon again I'd come back and try the pizza. read more

My family has owned a BBQ restaurant for 17 years, thus I have been around BBQ for most of my life. That being said, Pig on a Pie has some of the best BBQ I have every tasted. This place is AMAZING!!!! Their wings are the bomb!!! Juicy, smoked chicken wings...smoked, not fried...with tons of smokey flavor and a nice variety of sauces. I always go with the Hot, which is spicy, but not burn-your-mouth hot, and cool it down with a quick dip in Ranch. They sauce the wings up and run them through the pizza oven before serving to make them nice and toasty. Their pizza is great too! They have a great variety of toppings and it is always made fresh when you order it. No sitting around under heating lamps until its gone, but fresh dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings EACH TIME!! Their BBQ pizza with chicken, BBQ sauce, and bacon is really good. They have amazing and cheap lunch specials. $4 -- 2 slices and a small drink $5 -- 3 slices and a large drink $6 -- 4 slices and a large drink $8 -- 2 slices, 5 wings and a small drink I have yet to try their ribs, but I have heard from multiple people that they are awesome as well. They also cater any event, utilizing their full menu of pizza, BBQ, and sides. The price per plate is very reasonable and they will deliver for large orders. I work at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport, just down the road, and we eat here at least once per week (if not more :)). If you haven't been here, definitely make the effort. read more

I saw another reviewer liked the habanero mango wings. I got the two slice and five wing combo with bacon on the pizza and the mango habanero wings. Little pizza shop near my neighborhood, tried their pepperoni once and it was too greasy for me, don't like grease and oil running off my pizza when I pick it up, some do, if that's you then this is the place for you. Excellent family-owned restaurant with extremely friendly customer service. Faith based which is also very awesome. Can't say enough about how good the food is! The ribs were fork tender and delicious. The pulled pork pizza was unique, but some of the best pizza that I've ever had, and although we didn't have a chance to sample the wings or calzones, they smelled amazing.
