They were pretty busy, which I generally take as a good sign, but I had to wait about 10 minutes for my burger. Not bad of a wait really. They called my name and presented me with my burger and fries. It looked great! I hurried by to my office, eating the delicious fries along the way. They were crispy, hot, salty, with just enough chives that you knew they were there but they didn't overpower. I dug into the burger as soon as I sat down. It was fantastic! The burger was cooked to a perfectly pink medium. The bacon jam was amazingly flavorful! I have no idea what burger sauce is but it was great. The lettuce and tomatoes were nice and fresh too. The sesame bun was nicely toasted and the cheddar cheese was nice and melty. I liked that the bun held up well and didn't fall apart while I was eating it. I was in burger heaven! I've never had that combination before. The tzatziki sauce, onions, tomato and gyro meat on a 1/2 lb burger was delicious!! The seasoned fries were perfectly seasoned that I didn't eat them with any ketchup. Service is always super fast, and I appreciate that they give you pagers so you don't have to keep track of when your food is supposed to be done or be standing around waiting but the truck. I like that they stuck with the theme throughout the naming of their sauces, the different meals that are offered, and the decor of their truck. The staff has always been super nice and helpful for answering questions. Also this is the only establishment I've found where I will order the fries every single time over the tater tots. I've had their tater tots and they're perfectly good tater tots, but Double Dub's does something to their fries that makes me want to get a job there just to know how they're made and seasoned. The star was the steak tostada piled high on a super crispy corn tostada with plenty of steak, beans, sour cream, two nice fresh avocado slices and cheese. The tostada was very good and bigger than I expected but than again it's not ordered very much by me so it's possible this was the norm, I couldn't finish the whole plate before I was full. Overall I really liked how they didn't skimp out on anything and for a food truck they make a great presentation with the food.
