He was super friendly and attentive, and he even kept us updated with his ETA, which was definitely a huge plus and very helpful. When he arrived, he did a diagnostic on the unit. It turned out the pressure was perfectly fine, and all we needed to do was change the filter because it was extremely dirty and was causing the AC to not blow cool air. Here's the crazy part: my fiancé had called another company the night before, and their technician gave us a $1,100 quote for "high maintenance" on the unit. I showed the quote to Kevin, and he was completely honest with us and told us that our AC was working perfectly fine and that we didn't need any of those services! I'm honestly so glad I called Kevin. As someone who doesn't know much about AC systems, it's easy to feel pressured into paying for services you may not actually need. This experience was a great reminder to always get a second (or even third) opinion. As for Kevin, you can absolutely trust his honesty, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help. I contacted Manny's Heating & Air Conditioning, and they were very responsive. Jerry from Manny's Heating & Air Conditioning was very professional and knowledgeable who diagnosed the problem within about 15 minutes, explained the repair clearly, asked for permission before performing each step, and verified the temperature and operation afterward. One important detail: my HVAC is a rooftop packaged unit with indoor access only through a master bedroom walk in closet. There are no building stairs to the roof, so the technician must bring a ladder and climb about 11 feet indoors. This unusual setup made it difficult for me to find a company willing to handle the access, but Manny's was able to take care of it without any issues. It has been 10 days since the repair, and the air conditioner is running normally again. The repair came with a standard 90 day warranty, but honestly the quality of the work mattered more to me than the warranty. I recommend this company.

Jerry diagnosed that it was a low capacitor and freon leak, and that the fan motor was not broken like others have said. Other companies needed me to purchase additional parts to get it fixed but Jerry was able to get my AC working the same day. My HVAC unit was nearing it's end of life so I was also comparing bids on what made the most sense for my condo. Jerry offered to temporarily 'lend' us a new capacitor and pumped freon into my system at no charge while I made the decision whether I wanted just the fix or to replace my system. If I decided to just go with the fix, I would pay for it of course, but if I went with replacing the system, they would just take back their capacitor and reclaim the freon. This was a hugely appreciated gesture. Their HVAC replacement proposal was also very competitive. I ultimately decided to replace the system. The experience was pleasant from beginning to end. Cecilia is the one who helps schedule at the office, very friendly and responsive. Jerry was the technician who helped us diagnose the issue and coordinate the HVAC team. He was friendly, transparent, and always responded quickly to my texts/questions - great communication. The day of, the workers Juan, Victor and Andrew were very professional. Maintained constant communication the whole time, kept me updated on the process and what they were doing. They wore booties inside, protected the floor with tarp, and were just very careful in general. The installation of the unit itself is very professionally done, and they vacuumed everything and cleaned up afterwards. They even explained how to register the units for warranties etc. They were able to remove the old AC and install the whole new system the same day, roughly ~5-6 hours including the crane to get the units on/off the roof of the condo building.

Brand new AC system- absolutely HIGHLY recommended company!…read more I went with Connor AC based on a friend's recommendation (used for their AC system) and because they were local to me and easily accessible. Consult and walk thru was done by Jarred- absolutely professional in all mannerisms, dress, prompt, follow up, ...and easy on the eyes as well. I put the job off for a year bc it was just too much - cost too much and too much invasive work. I have a separate upstairs and downstairs AC units and the downstairs one literally breaks down every summer, electric bills skyrocket, house never gets cool, different guys adding all kinds of freon and tinkering around trying to get our house to cool down in 100deg Cali summers! Finally my downstairs one just broke down 80-85deg inside the house on a 100deg day. I called back Connor and asked them to update the proposal (post- Trump and tariffs) and was determined to make it work this time. My job entailed taking out my 2 old outdated builder's grade 10SEER fans in the backyard, then having the concrete that was custom built underneath them re-done. Then a whole new 16SEER Lennox top of the line system would be installed. And then it rained. Literally never rains in Cali but all 4 days of my proposed job showed forecasted rain!! Day 1- John and his helper Sebastian came to start the job. Work hours were about 8-2ish. They took time to prep and lay out floor covers to protect my carpet and tiles. Then they removed my 2 furnaces inside the attic thru a tiny 2x2 trap door in my closet! John and Sebastian work quietly and efficiently and really surprisingly make the most of their time! 4 days later I had 2 brand new AC units, got the heat working in these colder winter temps, John even re-routed my ducts to improve airflow and basically cleaned up my attic - which now resembles a fully functional clubhouse! A huge thanks to Anthony and Tiffany for coordinating all the logistics, Anthony in particular was so helpful from start to finish, always available, responded immediately to any question, and just made the whole process incredibly easy. An especially big thanks to our installer Bobby and his crew who did such an exceptional job carefully removing the old system and doing a beautiful install of the new one. They also completely reworked the AC closet, moving the system forward and sealing everything off cleanly, what was once a poorly converted linen closet now has potential for usable space behind it. Whereas the old system sounded like a jet engine taking off, the new Mitsubishi is astonishingly quiet, the condenser is outside our bedroom and you hear literally nothing. It works flawlessly and has been keeping the house perfectly cool through what's shaping up to be a hot summer. This was not an easy install either. The house, like many older homes, is full of quirks and Diamond did an amazing job working around all the pitfalls that come with squeezing a central HVAC system into a house not originally designed for one.
