My air conditioning unit suddenly stopped working and boost came out to do a diagnostic and give me a quote for repair. It was over 8,000 dollars. I then got three different companies to come out so I could benchmark pricing. All three of them had totally different diagnostics, but the third person who was recommended to me by a friend told me it was a very simple problem that took one hour to repair and cost me $250. My AC is now working perfectly and cooled down the house immediately. My point being I don't know anything about AC repairs, but definitely get second and even third opinions and don't just rely on yelp, but ask friends or neighbors for recommendations. read more

When I called, they came out the next day to fix my HVAC heater, which needed an inducer motor. When he came back the next day in the morning with the part, it turned out that a few other parts were damaged when the inducer motor burned out. ok. so had 2 firms come in to fix my ultra lonox furnace. first one said needed to replace it (even though it was barely 3 years old. and that was it. next guy was very thorough, said I needed to reconfigure the ductwork, move the thing and some other recommendations. Neither seemed sensible to me as it had functioned quite nicely for several years so I thought perhaps it was related to some malfunctioning part, bad sensor or something. so I turned elsewhere. David and Sammy came to the house, inspected and tested the furnace and said that there were 2 parts that should be replaced(under warranty) and did a little bit of ductwork - they got the parts asap came back the next day, got the refund for the parts and sent me the money. so far the furnace works flawlessly. very pleased!! read more
