Firstly, the staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The place was extremely clean and smelled amazing. The yoga room itself was dim, yet inviting. I really enjoyed the class and now I look forward to attending paid classes in the future. Glad I got the chance to check it out!

So. I am not in the habit of writing bad reviews. I usually give any business the benefit of the…read moredoubt and also give them a chance to make things right. But that did not just happen. So I called to cancel my Hotworx membership about 4-6 months ago. At that time I was told that it would cost a large fee to cancel the membership, so as a courtesy, they would just put my account on hold or "freeze" with no fee. I was also told on the phone that I could call back when I wanted to "unfreeze" the account. Great. However.... My "membership" was a direct withdrawal from my bank account, and (my bad) I didn't notice that for some reason it was "unfrozen" 3 months ago, at a rate of $59 a month. When I called today to speak with them, they said if I wanted to cancel, it would be $99. This is in ADDITION to the $180 they collected for the last 3 months for turning my account back on. $280 for a mistake that they made. After speaking to 2 individuals (I'm assuming the 2 women who own the store), they said that they would do me a courtesy of canceling my membership for "free", but they would not remove the 3 months of fees. When they turned my membership back on, they did not inform me by email, voicemail, or text. So I was not aware it was back on. They said that, per their contract (that my husband signed, as it was a gift) they did not need to notify me. When I asked why it was turned back on without my permission, they said that this was in the paperwork i signed to freeze the account. I said I called on the phone to cancel, and the woman said that she would freeze for free and I could call back when i wanted to come back. She said I must have been misinformed on the phone, but again referred back to the fine print of the original contract. So, she said I was misinformed on the phone, but still charged for 3 months with absolutely no notification (other than my bank statement), and given this fact, they still would not work with me (other than waiving a $99 fee to cancel). I really thought these women were running a great business there. I enjoyed going there when I got the membership. But this business practice really left a bad taste in my mouth.

I just switched from crunch to here but I'm going to have to switch back if I can't get a good stretch after lifting weights.

That said, I haven't had any bad experiences at this location. It's definitely smaller, so when it's busy, it can be a little harder to move around or access certain equipment. However, everyone I've encountered has been kind and respectful, which makes a big difference. It also seems a bit cleaner than the other location--possibly due to its size and easier upkeep. When working out with a small group, the more compact layout actually makes things feel a bit cozier and more connected. ! I like the mirrors ... Lol but I can see how it can be hard for people to use the restroom/ shower because it's only 4 stalls and the toilets are in with the shower. Overall, it's a solid alternative while my preferred location is being updated!

I will preface this review that this was a free introductory session they offered for a limited time. THE PROCESS You lay on the table and the stretching coach does all the work to stretch you out. They strap you onto the table so they can pull on you without pulling you off the table. There is one stretch where they grab the arm on other side of table and then pull that arm across to twist you sideways at the hip....OMG....that was my favorite! It stretches your arm, shoulder, core, hip and leg all at once. ATMOSPHERE There is one large room with multiple tables. You are being stretched while other people are being stretched. Since this was my first visit, I wasn't nearly as flexible as some people there. It was truly impressive to see how far the coaches could fold back the legs of some of those clients! RESULTS AFTER ONE SESSION I immediately felt different when I walked. My hips and lower back were loosened up! It was truly amazing! Without repeated stretching the muscles tighten back up. They recommend a 12 week program where you come once, twice or three times per week. The per-visit cost is less when you sign up for more visits per week. TIPS - Wear loose clothing that will allow you to stretch. This is not the time to wear your tight jeans or restrictive shirt. - You can split a program between two people. For example, a couple both can purchase a program to visit twice per week to save a little cash, while each person uses one of the two visits per week. STRETCHING VS MASSAGE They don't offer massage but I compare since some people get a massage to loosen up their muscles. The stretching feels good but it's not relaxing like a massage. However, I found the results from one stretching session to be more productive for loosening up the body than massage. COST I found the cost to be less than a massage, but I don't get massages weekly. I didn't opt to continue the program because I couldn't afford it personally. However for those that are able, I believe you will get good results from a 12 week program! Only reason I gave it 4 stars was that I found it to be priced a little more than most can afford.

Both Brooke and Michael are amazing trainers and don't let you cheat your own potential when you come in for a workout! Each class is different, except for the one main thing that is the basis of each class... a POSITIVE & SUPPORTIVE atmosphere! I'm not the most in shape person, but there has never been any negativity or shade thrown towards me or any of the other members who don't have the body of Adonis or look like they could be on the cover of the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated. Everyone belongs at Blitz 45 and your fitness goals are your own to conquer with their expert help! Kanan, who was Assistant Manager and the stretcher who did the best, is no longer working there and they constantly switch who does your stretches despite you scheduling with specific person. Concept is good but prices and cancellation process is not.
